Everytime I play an MMO, I just miss Ultima Online (pre Trammel aka Carebear land expansion) even more.

That was hands down the best MMO ever, which is pretty sad considering it was made in 1996.

I downloaded Worms on my phone recently. Lots of fun!

MMORPGs just don't work for PVP I've discovered, same problem as RPGs and RTS', they're all rock/paper/scissors style games, it's worse in Darkfall because it tries to make you play as if it were an FPS or something but really it's a lot like EVE where it's the people who gang up together and gank people that win the game rather than it being about any kind of skill or interaction. I played the beta for Darkfall Online you see, it looked really promising at the time, there was one hilarious complaint I saw about people who came on the forums and said they were getting killed by a bunch of naked players which is pretty funny but just demonstrates the problem of these games.

The ganking problem could be easily cured by giving all classes some kind of AoE effect but of course that would mean all the gankers would get upset which is a problem that EVE is currently facing, the low sec and 0.0 areas are becoming wastelands because no single players dare to venture in and all the while there are just gangs of players that warp around trying to pick on easy targets rather than fight each other because they know how the game works.

For Darkfall imagine Elder Scrolls but you've got the stats all set to a 1000000, it's supposedly gotten a bit better now but it was that bad I couldn't stand it.

That could have been a content update to encourage more people to buy the game and reward customers it's depressing, had an interesting attempt at a melee combat system too.

Just picked up the Game of the Year edition of Fallout 3.

Never played any of the DLC before, so I think this will hold me over until March... then it's time for Dark Souls 2 to take over my life.

That was another great game that had it's balance ruined for the sake of silly RPG progression bullshit shame really and I warned them about it on the forums too so you can expect them to ignore players and fuck things up more, they've also made the mistake of releasing multiplayer DLC which completely segregates communities.
