I am basically using Coinbase and i would also love to share my experience as it always feels safer than any other exchange platforms or wallet provider.

Why?

-> Coinbase is an exchange Platform which also offers wallet to keep your money safe.
-> Coinbase is one of the oldest platforms in which you can easily rely on.
-> It Offers good Value of Bitcoin according to Market price of BTC
-> Easy to signup and easy to verify
-> The most secured with two-step verification system
-> It also offers QR code (authentication security)

Please, go with the coin base. its really cool and safe to make deals.

Regards,

emersonlogan62

All the above, coinbase is just an online wallet is not usually as secured as a standalone wallet per we are seeing many bitcoin exchanges are getting hacked. Another big reason why I am not choosing coinabse : they are not allowing us to have our privatekey of bitcoin addresses unlike blockain.info.

If it is online wallet I use coinbase but I dont store much there. You dont know which is another bitfinex so better leave it at small numbers so they wont be tempted to rob you. Whenever a big amount of bitcoin is there they will be at that verge of hacking themselves.
And someone told me that if coinbase detects gambling payments or any transaction that links you to gambling then they will lock your wallet, I am not sure if that is true but there was a discussion here I am sure. And I will never give the power of where I can spend and where not to just a simple wallet provider.

I prefer to used blochain.info as my wallet.
Because it its more safe and convenient to used. I love some of the features on the wallet inside and im hoping that it will be more secure either you store small or big amount on it.
Has blockchain.info added signing of new addresses yet?
When they swapped from the old legacy wallet to the new one i can sign my old impoted addresses but not ones generated with the new wallet, is it possible yet?

Not yet, we can't get our private key from the new version.

"When they swapped from the old legacy wallet to the new one i can sign my old impoted addresses but not ones generated with the new wallet, is it possible yet?"

Not yet. I still like old one.

I was always worried to use online wallets and used electrum and
multibit but recently I started using online blockchain wallet and they
have a lot of security and make me check my email to prove its me
logging in.

With these security changes I think its better to have the online wallet but
still would cold store any large amounts.

I'm using the blockchain wallet because its a pretty safe one and its also a easy platform plus the fact is that it has a good security.
I love the 2fa security option from google.
The blockchain is a good wallet but you have to keep in your mind that its an online wallet so its not 100% safe, I think the blockchain is okay, I'm also using it but only for some payments.
For other than that I'm not using the blockchain at all.
we all know online wallets are risky, but we also want bitcoin to be easy to use and it is always an argument why bitcoin is not growing faster.
i think if other online wallets would use at least the same standard as blockchain it would be very good for bitcoin.

I currently use the Poloniex to trade and the Ledger Wallet to keep safe my Bitcoins

I use blockchain.info online bitcoins wallet, because this wallet is my first wallet since i know about bitcoin and so far there is no problem everytime i'm using this wallet. I really recommend this wallet.

I've heard some stories about bitcoin theft in this wallet. Be careful.

I myself use 3 different wallets. One is on my Android device, one on my desktop PC and one online.

The one i like the most is on my desktop, MultiBit. I like it because you can quicky generate new deposit adresses and keep track of your incomes and outcomes. I only use Blockchain for some payments, and on my mobile phone i have MyCelium wallet, which i use for mobile/QR code scanning payments.

What wallets do you use and which one do you prefer and why?

So far for what I used a bitcoin wallet now is came from the merchant I had it now in my country which is coins.ph, but most of my bitcoin wallet came from different exchange paltform then I often transferred it to coins.ph

I use bitcoin wallet
1. Blockchain- I trust this wallet and this wallet are safe
2.coinbase- I like the vault of bitcoin
3.coins.ph..- i love the transaction very smooth
It is good to have a lot of wallet just for security reasons, I have been using coins.ph for a long time and I have no problem also cashing out all the time. I think it is really important to use different wallets if you are getting more income online to prevent any big lose in case there is a hacking that will happen.

Me, I am just using the wallet from my local exchange and so far I have no problem as I can easily cash out money transferred from my other accounts online.

I use several wallets:
Xapo wallet because it is connected to the debit card of theirs+they have very low tx fees, think it is a very good online wallet with added security
blockchain.info wallet because it was the first wallet of mine , it got me started with the whole bitcoin thingy
core wallet on a laptop because Im that hardcore Smiley
holytranscation online multiwallet(they are closing end of september by the way) to be able to convert between doge/ltc and btc
mycellium as a lightweight client for eveyday trading and sending/recieveing substantial amounts of btc
if you do not operate with the sums of money >0.5 btc I think you could stick to online wallets like coinbase, blockchain or xapo(or any of your choice)-their functionality is enough to see you through day to day operations
once you start to accumulate larger sums,it is time to look for a hardware wallet

i mainly use 3 wallets also, copay, coinbase and a paper wallet. the paper wallet is for mainly saving funds, the coinbase one is for daily spending and receiving and the copay one kind of has the same purpose as my coinbase one.
