I had 500 bitcoin around $1 each. I bought a couple vials of steroids with it all Sad

And do you still have the muscles to show for it?
Lol, if it was me no amount of chemical substances will make me grow any kind of muscles, I will be skinny forever. On topic I bought when bitcoin was in the 180-210 dollars and I bought 3 bitcoins back in the day.

I mined the first bitcoins with a gpu to upgrade to a better gpu. Then bought stuff from butterfly labs resold. Then I had over 25 btc. I did stupid investments like x3 and some other asic stocks. Then left with like 2 btc and earned 0,80 btc with a old miner. Then stepped away for long while.

Yes its still burned in my mind that a btc was 8$ but at the same time. Who predicted this? people with money most likely holded more btc then people with no money.

Just hold your coins well and maybe you become awake as a rich man one day or just make business with it currently 1 bil per day goes into this industry.
Good idea to do to hold now.
But just so sad to hear you lost out on the opportunity in holding 25 btc.
That would be some good amount to be investing with now and being without that bitcoin is just too painful to bare right now.

Decentralization Maximalist
First purchased: Around $40-45. It was in the last stage of the March/April 2013 bubble, just after the little flash crash when the v0.8 fork ocurred Wink

I tried to mine in late 2010/early 2011 (and then forgot Bitcoin for a while), but even then my CPU was too slow to get a single block. I don't remember if there were even mining pools in that era ...

I had been involved with Bitcoin when it was around $900, during the decline of BTC after the bubble burst of 2013.  I regret of not buying it during its dip (it was around 2015) and left the BTC scenario for some couple of months.  If I have not left cryptocurrency i could have bought at around $200+ per BTC but well too late for that now isn't it.

I don't see any members here admitting to buying coins for under a dollar.  Anybody wish they had a time machine for getting their BTC?   LOL!

Cashback 15%
Back in 2014 when I first purchased my bitcoin, it was around $230. Grabbed a few every paycheck and kept on holding up until it reached its first run to $600 and back down to $300. I started buying again and made sure to myself that I will be holding the coin up until I will get lots of profit. That's what I did, I waited for a year and a half, kept on buying coins and sold at $1000. That was my proudest investment and up until now I do have some coins I stocked way back 2015. The future is looking bright for me.

Buy The F*cking Dip
I purchased my first BTC when it was on the $400 - $500 range. I'm skeptical about it at first because its concept is quite new to me. Looking back, I can't believe what it reached with the price of it now. I just regret that I haven't put much faith on it and buy more coins when it was way too cheaper.

Still really regret not buying into bitcoin a ton at $300, that would've been good if I mustered up a good amount of capital to buy.

You regret because it costs 4 times more now. But what would you say if it fell down to $50? You cannot predict such things, maybe you will regret in a couple of years that you did not buy now
My 1st one was right at the first peak in 2013 at $1k

First hearing about Bitcoin I think it was around $300ish, I think that's more then a year ago now. When I first bought was probably around the time of $350-400 which I really do wish I bought a big stake in Bitcoin and held it through this time, but this is how all of my investments work. I sell too early and buy too late, but that's life for ya what can ya say.

I never mined or bought BTC. However I do have plenty of BTC. Grin Grin Grin

Still, what'd you get it at bud?

I bought at about $ 750, sold at $ 220, now I run out
Wow, that is a sad story indeed. Im very sorry for you, but you panicked during the big dump what is not so strange when the price went down so hard.
I remember this events, so many people were bailing out of this asset, but I need to admit that it has really looked like the final end of the bitcoin cryptocurrency.
You could have found whinings that people are losing money on it literally everywhere in the internet on the websites related to crypto news or BTC, but as we can see it has survived, and is becoming even stronger than lately.

I really wonder if there is going to happen some situation like that, but in my opinion way too many people rely on bitcoin to see such a big price decrease.

I was pretty late in the game. Bought my first full bitcoin when it was a little over  $900.
I joined the Bitcoin community and last summer, I did not plan to buy Bitcoin at first but later I needed it to do some work and also because I did not know how to make Bitcoin. I bought Bitcoin for the first time at $ 600. I remember that time was Bitcoin's downturn, its price was falling continuously and seemed to have no stops. I feel lucky to have bought Bitcoin at that price because now Bitcoin's prices are quite high

For the first time I know bitcoin and buy a bitcoin, the value of a bitcoin is about $ 340 to $ 350. At that time I do not have too much faith in bitcoin, I just bought a bitcoin for playing online gambling and investing but now I feel regret about it. Some time later, the value of a bitcoin increased continuously and I feel this coin has great potential, then I learn about ways to earn bitcoin but making money Bitcoin becomes more difficult, I also did not earn too much bitcoin, if I know the price of Bitcoin is $ 1400, maybe I used all my money to buy bitcoin.

When I started using bitcoin the price was sitting at $290-$300.I was a newbie back then claiming from faucets and lurking here in the forum. When the price slightly went up after a couple of months from $300 to $350 I decided to buy a fraction of bitcoin and made profit from it because the price peaked at $400+.
