I started mining when they were around 16c I think and I couldnt see a place to sell. I remember setting up a mining rig in late 2010 I think. I accumulated a number of coins and didn't think it would do much as the price hovered and my mining rig kept crashing so I stopped and deleted my wallet thinking nothing of it. Oh how hindsight is a wonderful thing. I can't remember how many coins I had but it was in the mid to high 100's

I was pretty late in the game. Bought my first full bitcoin when it was a little over  $900.

I was was late too because I bought mine at $650. I've known it at $300 but it just went up to $1200 and just dump again to smaller price, that's why I bought it at $650.

I received one bitcoin back in 2015 and it was only 300 USD.
I was stupid and sold that bitcoin after one month holding for around 320 USD.
I have never mined bitcoins in my life.

In 2013, when I first came to know bitcoin it was $200. By the time I understand what it is, the price already reach $700. By the time I figured out how to convert fiat into bitcoin, it reached the then ATH of $1200.

Luckily we are above the previous ATH and I am all green now.

Got somewhat involved when Bitcoin was low in the $200s mid 2015, however I sold it when it was low and didn't keep most of what I had at that point. Kept working for it on this forum, as my life was in a rough patch, but it's back on track. It's a shame that I couldn't get my life going before now, but hey, what are you gonna do.

Hopefully we'll get to see some large numbers in the future, and the current market value will be considered a bargain.

I have never purchased whole 1 bitcoin. When I joined bitcoin, it was worth ~$200 but then I had only small part of bitcoin.
I'm never tried to buy and save my bitcoins to reach full 1 btc. When I first time reached 1 bitcoin in my wallet, it was worth $800-900, can't say exactly.
I'm not that rich person who would afford to buy full 1 bitcoin today. If I would do that, then I wouldn't have money for my daily needs Cheesy

When the first time I knew and bought bitcoin it was around 300$ at that time the price is still not as expensive as now and there are only few people that knew bitcoin and in my area nobody knew about bitcoin, the one that I didn't know is the price could go very high and I sold a lot of coin at that time, so i feel very regret that I didn't keep my coin at that time

When I actually bought my first Bitcoin, $700. When I used Bitcoin for the first time, it was mid $500s iirc. Not saying that it happened in that order, though.

I'm curious what you mean by being late to the game. Did you just start over the past six months or so? Because there have been multiple occasions where Bitcoin has been around $900. Judging by your account, I'd say that's accurate, but I'd like to know. Always more interesting hearing stories.

Yes, it has been within the last six months.

I actually had the opportunity to buy some when a friend in high school tried to talk me into it but I thought it was a huge scam. This was around the time 1 Bitcoin was about $4. Yeah I feel like an idiot now.
Wow, I wish someone would have told me about Bitcoin back when its price was like $2-$4! But no one even knows its name here to talk about it — I knew it by a coincidental search on Google. I knew and started using Bitcoin when its price was ranging between $620-$700, I didn't buy it, however. Looking at it now, I regret not buying it – I would have gained double of what I would have invested in only 6 months Undecided.

Near $400, a bit lower, maybe $360-$370... It wasn't much time ago, two years ago only, that was a good time to buy Bitcoins and enjoy the profit now after 2 years, unfortunatelly I was just starting, didn't know well about Bitcoin and had some fear if it was really sustainable on long term and safe. Now I regret to don't buy Bitcoins on that time...

Ooof.  Those are pretty high numbers, but I suspect $700-$900 is true for a lot of people.  Bubbles/bull markets tend to bring in the speculators by the truckload. But still, you'd have made a decent profit if you kept what you bought at those prices.

I bought in for the first time at around $450 or so, and no I don't still own those coins.  I was just playing around with crypto at the time and wasn't even thinking of saving.  Live and learn, eh?
