My first trading experience is just the same as you, OP. I also lost every money I had because of my lack of knowledge and experience. That time I give up because there are people who says that trading is not for everyone, while some advices me to move forward and learn from my mistakes. Earning experience and knowledge will take a lot of time and learning will always be there.

My first trading experience was when i tried selling some few tokens i earned from airdrop, due to complexities of decntralized exchanges, it was quite difficult for me to navigate around the exchange but i took up trading courses and months later, i was able to trade on any kind of exchange

That is really amazing. I can't take those courses because I am always at work. Most of the thing I knew in trading and investing in crypto currencies are from this forum and I am really grateful since there are those people that even shares their strategies and other investements they have.

It is still hard since I can't stand on my own but still, slowly, I am getting used to the changes.

The pump group that I once attended always had a lot of followers and there was a pump schedule that they had planned beforehand so that the members in the pump group were getting ready to buy coins targeted by the group owner.

It is true, such a pump group is a business that they run for their own benefit by utilizing the thousands of members who join. Most members who join are beginner traders who don't know about trading techniques (including me at that time).

it's better to avoid the pump group, because in the end we will lose and even get stuck in the FOMO that they made themselves.

The whole idea of trading seems to be the opium in the crypto space. I always like existing in spaces where i have control over situations and looking at the crypto space, trading seems to be the only sector that has that and also keeps you independent. I also noticed that the trading business has maximum risk hovering over it and to avert possible losses, it is wise to go for knowledge first before involving or exposing your funds to trading as you are entirely responsible for what ever the consequences of the trade is whether loss or profit.
We do have freedom in trading, there are many opportunities, but if we do not have the ability to analyze the market, then we cannot see any opportunities. We will not get anything if we only rely on feeling, technical and fundamental analysis must be done, depending on which strategy you like and understand. We also have to remember that nothing is instant, everything requires a process. We never know what successful traders have felt in the past, who knows how many times they have lost, or how many times they have become pessimistic, but it is all a process that must go through to gain valuable experience.

Been trading for quite a while now and it took me time to get to where i am today coming from a noob in trading. Trading cryptocurrencies was one hell of an experience for me Grin.

The first cryptocurrency i traded back in late 2018 was bitcoin and i lost a whole lot of money trading it. I guess i didn't learn enough about the crypto market and the volatility involved before delving into it  Undecided.

Ever since then, i picked another instrument of choice. I went into the FOREX trading. I plan on coming back into trading cryptocurencies but for now i'm still learning about the crypto market.  Cheesy

It was a painful experience though  Grin

What was your experience ?

I think getting the experience into trading really is the thing here. Having that experience you're really going to learn a lot from it.

You are always going to be temp to do something like selling your investment from time to time if you don't have enough experience sometimes your always going to fall in it.

Earning a profit really is the best thing in trading but at the same time, there is a big risk in it.

At the beginning it was not that rosy,  I followed some couple lots of fake trading groups on Telegram not until I learned the hard way before I started to desist from such channels, right now I can boldly boast of my own personal calls, not 100% right but much more better than lots of those fake channels calls
In the year 2015/16 there used to be a lot of pump and dump groups that mostly targeted Bittrex cryptocurrency pairs but the only problem was that you couldn't make money from those groups at all because the owner used to dump his coins after announcing it to his followers onto those who used to buy that coin after his announcement. I guess now it isn't the case anymore as these pump and dumps are illegal to participate into, at least in wall street it is.
My first trading experience was back in 2014 selling the coins that I received in an airdrop, back then airdrops used to give you more than 0.04 btc usually, and sometimes more than that too.
These kind of groups were very famous back them and most of them used to run on telegram, slack and on IRC channels. Now people are more aware about these pumps and dumps and don't fall for it usually.
I also used to hunt bounties and airdrops in the past, the most profitable for me was of Decred, I earned about 1.5btc from that single airdrop. But my first experience in trading was with Cryptsy which was the biggest exchange in my starting days and also having the biggest volumes but due to many hacks it ran out of business.

My first experienced in trading it was late 2018 and i started in coinexchange,i just trade bitcoin and dogecoin without even a litle knowledge in trading that's why i lost all my small capital on that time. But i still practice trading and now i already know how to avoid loses and how to read the graph and movement of price. It's really true that experienced is the best teaching method that we can use to improve and move forward.

The pump group will allow you to earned at the beginning of your subscription letting you to feel that they are really
doing good at this kind of signals, without knowing that they are just for you to
completely trust them and bring more investment, once they already get your
attention and interest, that's the go signal for them to do their business.

Like what you have said, the owner already position his holdings before
sending the signal to group, making sure that every profits will be bank
inside their wallets.

My first experience was at KuCoin. Create my account and I did my first token exchange that won me in a Bounty campaign. When you are new you feel a lot of emotions, also I did all the steps carefully to make it a safe experience. Fortunately I did not have any problem because I followed all the indications that are available on the portal. It was a great feeling to receive bitcoin that I could exchange later with another exchange tool for my local currency.
And since then I am convinced that this is what I want with my finances.

So far, as bitcoin has no improvement in its price, I try to use altcoin to somehow have a small profit. A little progress is also a progress so as soon as I can, I trade using those shitcoins that others say. If bitcoin's price is not increasing, why settle and wait for that to move when you can find another way to earn a profit.

Holding bitcoin is okay but we have no idea when its price will increase in the market, so if I were you, I will try to look for more ways on how can i grow my investments.

If there's an opportunity to use other coins, grab it!

Fear of going into the experience, for the next time to start will be easier and faster.
I invested some currencies in the year 2018 and I didn't sell them, I plan to buy more this year and I want to invest some money in some markets. I am waiting for a return from them to start again.
Investing is a game of profit and loss, and I do not fear loss.
If you are investing your hard earned money then you should fear about the loss you could encounter if you are taking a risk, not sure what coins you invested to have a bold statement but trading is all about top coins rather than the shit coins we have in the market and you need to be careful what coins you are trading and bitcoin is the only coin that can guarantee a profit in the long run and that cannot be said about majority of the alts.

Bitcoin is really the most worth it coin to invest if you are willing to trade your assets. Once you work hard to earn money and you invest it in trading, you should do your best in order for your effort not to be wasted. Majority of us are using bitcoin because alts can't give us huge profit that bitcoin can do.

We always really need to secure our assets and trade only if it is necessary, because the risks in trading is huge. Performing technical analysis every time you trade is important so that you have a guide or idea when to do trading. When it comes to the market, I guarantee you to invest your bitcoin so that you can secure your future errands with your assets.

In Code We Trust
In times that I am new to trading before, I have often been affected by short term price increase or decrease, that is why I end up withdrawing my funds from the exchange in the fear of losing. Then I realized that what I really lack is the time it takes for me to study the market graph, so with less time I spend in trading, the less I earn for the short term.

I might not be lucky in trading because I do a bunch of other stuff, but remember, we can trade in a long term through hodling in which what I am doing now with my sats.

I didn't know much about cryptocurrency trading even three years ago. One of my older brothers first gave me knowledge about cryptocurrency trading. Then I started walking on the path shown by him. I made many mistakes at first But I have learned from this mistakes. The cryptocurrency market is getting harder day by day. I am constantly gaining knowledge from here.
Trading will be difficult if you do not have enough knowledge because cryptocurrency trading does not only buy at low prices and sell at high prices. Much better if trader can make an analysis so they have good guidelines before deciding to trade. The selection of the right trading assets will also determine the success of a trade. Choosing randomly without analysis will only make the trade fail and even potentially lose money. I have never considered trading easy, and I would say it is a complex activity.

At the moment I am used to adding knowledge about my crypto trading via YouTube, I get a lot of information and knowledge. You can also do it if you want even though at this stage you are already well established in terms of your activities in the forum.

I tried both forex and cryptocurrency trading. I can definitely say that the cryptocurrency market is more complicated than the classic ones, it is too unpredictable and too volatile.
But that’s why he is so attractive. Trading on the cryptocurrency market is for those who like to take risks, but few people realize what really risks are associated with crypto trading.
I would have described it like this Forex - it's complicated, cryptocurrency is impossible.
At one time I had a mentor who made a lot of money on brick trading, but at some point the market became so unpredictable that he lost a lot.
