Sound. Fury. Signifying.
No idea where I heard about it, tried to do some Windows PC mining in 2011, couldn't figure it out, gave up, lost interest, rediscovered it years later, died a little on the inside. You?

When I first used the Bitcoin I was a real rookie and didn't know that much about Bitcoin. And my first experience was to send money to a friend of min.
He was already familiar with Bitcoin so helped me and thought me how to use the Bitcoin.
It is really good and easy for you and you find your way to experience it and get into it but my way to it is very difficult and I have to do a lot of research and loss a lot of my money to it in the way to find the good earning from it and way to learn some investment decission from it like any other newbie I had find it from my own to reached to this level.
to me i think it was such a good experience. although in very start as i was not aware of the benefits of bitcoin and i always do not know so much about bitcoin therefore it was not looking so good. but when i started using bitcoin ans specially when i learn earning bitcoin from trading alt coin now i am really happy with my decision to join bitcointalk community.

I know about Bitcoin in mid-2015, is in fact close to the end of 2015 because at that time I really learn and earn Bitcoins. At first I known Bitcoin, I absolutely do not know anything about it, I can only imagine it is the coin, virtual currency that you can spend as banknotes. I also do not know the way to earn Bitcoin as mine Bitcoin, traders, join the signature campaign or projects HYIP. I was lured to participate in a project HYIP that I did not know about it, the result is that I have lost some money. Then I had to find documents about Bitcoin to read, then that I really understood the nature of Bitcoin and its modern technologies. I will never participated in HYIP since then. Now, I also had a bit of experience on Bitcoin. Thinking back at the beginning knew Bitcoin, I find myself not being smart but there is also the interesting experience.

I would like to know what experiences did you had when you first started with Bitcoins. As for me, I had many that I would like to share with you.

When I began in the Bitcoin world, I was a complete rookie with no proper knowledge of how did mining worked or anything about cryptocurrencies. I just thought about Bitcoin as another payment processor like PayPal. But when I joined the BitcoinTalk community, I learned so many things along the way. In my process of learning in the first days, I decided to invest into cloud mining services. Since I didn't knew much about it, I invested a plenty amount of Bitcoins to start my journey into it. During that time, I had gotten into many different services. Those were GAW Miners, then Cointellect, cloudminr.io and finally Hashnest. After getting scammed many times by the services mentioned previously, (except for Hashnest) I have lost many Bitcoins. As a result, I decided to never invest into cloud mining and thus dedicate myself into learning more about the cryptocurrency and look for other ways to earn Bitcoins. It was then that I enrolled into the signature campaign that I am currently into and during all that time I began to earn Bitcoins as well as diversify my investments into different alt coins. Now I am dedicated to trading Bitcoins and other alt coins, as well as working for it (like the signature campaign and working as a freelancer) in order to earn coins and build up my portfolio along the way.

Anyways, what would be your experiences with this exciting cryptocurrency?  Cheesy
The first time I heard bitcoin, I was full of doubt about it, and I whispered said, bitcoin is just a piece of shit  like a scam site. That was my  impression when I first heard it. But after seeing my friend who shared bitcoin to me, then I saw he convert His bitcoin into a real currency, wow! I got instantly had an interest to know what bitcoin really is, how to use, how to earn it, and how to obtain it. that's it!

I first joined a lady's Bitcoin community and then learnt the basics and later signed up here for better insight and I'd say I've learnt a lot even though I'm not an expert technically but I understand a lot of concepts about Bitcoin and can practically setup a mine without a guide. I'm still learning in the job and there's more room for improvement. I did Bitcoin gambling; they motivated me because I got them from faucets but I later took it serious and started mining Altcoins.

I was basically led into Bitcoin so I didn't suffer finding my ways around. My brother was already into it so I started my journey by learning how to mine because he had a small Altcoins mine in the store room. I later invested into a small mining rig and began learning almost everything there's about cryptocurrencies and the rest they say is history.

I first time heard bitcoin long time ago before I joined it. I didn't joined bitcoin because I was thinking that it's not user-friendly thing. But later when I started to use various PTC, visit money making forums, I saw many advertisements of freebitco.in and I was hooked on idea to win $200 in single claim. But then I didn't know which bitcoin wallet to choose. I searched a lot on internet and found that Blokchain.info is the best choice. I also remember that I joined qoinpro.com- site which gives multiple free currencies for nothing, but this site is scam. I remember that when I joined bitcoin, cloud mining was very popular, there was many advertisements of eobot, cointellect, hashprofit. But I had enough brains to avoid invest in it.
This is how my first bitcoin experience looks.

Yeah every user experiences hard time on the beginning days of bitcoin usage. Most users starts with faucets and by the side used to learn and participate into signature campaign. Later on in a short got into gambling and soon realized the facts on gambling and moved to bitcoin trading.

I first heard of Bitcoin as "something" that you can get only from your computer working. Wow, money for free!
So I've set up my computer to mine Bitcoin instead of protein folding.
I also wanted to make an account to sell the bitcoin I'll make so I tried to make an account at Mt Gox. Just since it asked for my ID I decided to wait until I get some actual bitcoin in the pool.
After one month I was under 5500 satoshi and I've seen that I'll need to mine for a year only to get the minimum amount for withdraw. So I started mining Dogecoin.
Then Mt Gox fell.

It took me some months to find Bitcointalk, but that's maybe because Dogecoin reddit was just fine for me back then.

Same thing. I first started knowing aboit bitcoin last year. With my fellow classmate they show me and teach me all about bitcoin. At first I don't know how to earn it and use it. And I don't have interest on it. Later on. I search and read some things about bitcoin and find out that bitcoin is a very good and helps a lot nowadays because of its value today. I asked my classmate to teach me how to earn bitcoins and how to use it. They taught me and later on I am earning bitcoin because of my curiousity and with the help of my classmate too. I'm looking forward to have a great achievement/earning in the future. Smiley

Thanks for sharing your experiences with Bitcoin. As well as you, I hope to build a successful income out of Bitcoin by exploring many strategies that would help me gain control of my financial life. From mining to staking, to trading, there are many ways that you could earn with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. You just need to find the best strategy that works out for you, in order to make a nice income out of cryptocurrencies.

Nevertheless, I hope that as the more Bitcoin's value increase over time, the more people it will attract into it making it closer towards mainstream adoption of it.  Smiley

I was first aware of it in 2009. Forgot completely. Became dimly aware again in 2011. Did nothing. Got rolling properly in mid 2013. I feverishly read up on it for a couple of weeks. Looked up Gox, thought 'this is the NASDAQ of Bitcoin? Fuck that' and went to localbitcoins.

Almost all of the 'opportunities' and businesses looked like blatant scams to me and time proved it to be correct. I've learnt vast amounts of new stuff along the way.

Similar stuff. I found out about bitcoin in 2010, decided it was a neat idea but had no potential, and went on with my life. The late 2014/2015s roll around and I find myself realizing that the price is now in the hundreds. Definitely one of the things I regret the most, but I'm still happy that I got in the game relatively quickly.

Similar thing happened to me mate. While I started with Bitcoin in 2014, I realized that I was a little too late considering that the price were around the hundreds, but I quickly invested some money into it and now look at the price. It is nearly double than what I had invested when I first started. If I knew about Bitcoins in 2009-2010 I would have bought a bunch of them and today I would have been a millionaire. But anyways, better late than never.  Cheesy
