Now, I think the last 1 year is not good for the BTC hodlers. So, I just ask Gift of Santa Claus this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers?

Since the Christmas is done, what happened to your request from Santa Claus?

Was it given to you?

Looking at the price of Bitcoin in the past week in this holiday season, there is not much movement. Santa Claus must either not true at all or blind or he knows that we've not been good enough.

Well i think we're all grown ups now who doesn't really believe santa's real. Moving from under 4k to start the year to above 7k, with a few times breaching 10k, i'd say we got a little better that what we're supposed to. I didn't expect any large movement during the holidays and santa pretty much did what he's always been doing. Nothing.
Santa never can make bitcoin have higher price, you need to support with investor keep hold their bitcoin assets and never selling with lower price. Last year become very bad thing for bitcoin holder because they not reach profit with bitcoin holding during one year hold bitcoin but price keep down, wait for new year maybe you can sell and earn much profit before bitcoin halving.

Well, it may sound cringe and funny but i also ask or wish on the day of Christmas not just in Santa claus but in god also that next year will be a good thing for hodlers like me especially in the year 2019 the performance of crypto or bitcoin is not that good to the point that we see the lowest price of bitcoin in 2019, and i thought that it is the end of bitcoin, but still i keep being optimistic and believe that one day things will be alright so i buy more bitcoin at its lowest price and still holding it until now. So this year i wish more opportunities and good things to happen in the crypto world to be specific in bitcoin.

Not really, I saw Santa in the mall last Christmas giving away candies. But not causing green candles though. Lol.

Kidding aside, the rise of Bitcoin within the year is enormous already. If we take a look at the entire year 2019 chart and we consider its all time high and all time low, we can see how Bitcoin was able to convert $3,000 plus into $13,000 plus. That is around $10,000 difference.

For bitcoin hodlers there is only one gift that santa can give and that is increase in bitcoin price. This year Christmas was dry and santa was not sighted. May be santa accumulating gifts like 2017 christmas and will distribute it in one go rather giving in pieces.

Cheap Bitcoin? lol. I thought the bottom is in but I doubt it now after some bearish movement on this new years eve. This isn't looking good at all. We might test sub $7K soon. Cheap Bitcoin for y'all who want to accumulate.

Anyway, happy new year!

This is a new year to start with, I know many of us are still waiting for a good entry point where price is cheap to buy and accumulate bitcoin but while we are still waiting, new year is the best time to start buying now and consider diversifying our buying time frame without considering if it is profitable or not, as long as our target is to conduct a long term hodling of bitcoin. Happy New Year and have a nice hodl ahead!

Bitcoin Santa can arrive at any time, he never wait for Christmas to arrive. Despite bear market, bitcoin Santa still manage to give a small gift to all bitcoin hodlers just before the Christmas (bitcoin rally from 6800$ to 7600$). As I said keep your doors open for bitcoin santa all the time. He can come at any time.

The only gift required would be many children already grown up with little letters to get them bitcoins. Long live the white-red-gold bitcoins. Wink

Hoe hoe hoe and a merry hodl.  Cheesy

I think maybe people have a scraped slate when it comes to expectations of crypto this year. Who knows what the year will bring to us. Hopefully, people will start investing again and hold their bitcoin using it to trade for other currencies. This will surely bring the price up. I think the price is doing quite well right now and most people are fairly content. All the Xmas presents have been bought so not more dumping.

The best wish I can ask right now is a good year ahead of bitcoin, especially with the halving. I hope that the year 2020 will be the year of new bitcoin ATH. If Santa can give that millions of people would be happy not just me Smiley
hopefully there is goodness starting from this year, if it really can hopefully the next year the price of bitcoin can reach the latest highs. and with that maybe there will be many people who are eager to seek further benefits, and I also hope that developments in new projects can be even better

I think that the gift for the new year was the new airdrop from the Yobit exchange, which is now in operation and trading will begin on January 28 of this coin called YODU.

In the first place you don't need to be a hodler to get the aidrop from yobit, because the gift of santa clause for bitcoin hodlers for me is knowledge about the things they need to avoid in the future so they will have more profits in the market. In addition, if we are thinking that the market price this December could spike way up high, I don't think so, there is no indication it could be possible because no news and updates are implying it and if we are to look at the issues, youtube are banning crypto content which could incur fear that crypto might lose its market price very soon.

In December 2017, we received a great gift. The price of bitcoin had gone into space. Then they took back the presents. Those who sell and leave the market are lucky. Some are less fortunate. Friends who are investing just before prices start to fall are in a bad situation.

The crypto market is very much down and out these days. The only gift HODLers want from Santa is a rise in the price of BTC. The last time we have such a gift was in 2017 when BTC touched its ATH.
Another gift can be a further decline in BTC price so that people like me can buy more BTC.
I hope Santa claus hears our plea and increase the price or better still he should allow the price to continue to range above $7500+ even after bitcoin Hodlers exchanged their coins to fiat to buy Christmas gifts and celebrations while declining further might not be feasible now for us to buy at a better price. however I don't think the price can attain another ATH this year.
I think that it is not necessary to compare the end of 2016 and the beginning of 2017 with what is happening at the moment and will happen in the coming months.  The fact is that the situation on the cryptocurrency market and in the world, in relation to cryptocurrency, is completely different at that time and now.  If you recall 2016 and 2017, then the time was the peak of the growth in the popularity of cryptocurrencies and an active pr-campaign, thanks to which information was circulated that people can become rich with the help of cryptocurrency and many people used these opportunities.  Today the situation is very different and therefore there is no reason to wait for the same increase in cryptocurrency prices.

So your real "Christmas" might be months after the halving.
Interesting.  I figured that if there's going to be much of a movement in bitcoin's price it would happen *before* the halving which, if I'm not grossly mistaken, was the case with the last 2 halvenings.  But in either case you're most likely right that the real christmas will be linked to the event.

This thread is a bit confusing to begin with but if I'm understanding Op right, he thinks we'll get a big price increase by christmas?  And even tho he started the thread in november and there was more time until the holiday, there was (and is) no way that's going to happen unless some really good news comes out to drive bitcoin out of its slump.  I've got my hopes pinned on next year, not this one.

Bitcoin 2020 halving is already calculated in the current price.
You might be right about that, but it's an issue that I've never been able to figure out.  It does seem like bitcoin rose *before* the last 2 halvenings, tho it also kept rising afterward.  I would have to check the charts, but I think that was the case.  But we'll see.
