This is just hope according to the OP statement, so in my opinion they are free to expect the good according to their wishes and expectations about bitcoin and expect a gift on Christmas or a very special day to get a Gift from Santa who doesn't know its contents, good or bad.

Can Santa even make the price of bitcoin to increase? I don't think so... And don't expect Santa to hear our wishes. Instead of expecting something from Santa, let's just wait, be patient, and don't lose hope for bitcoin. Let's wait till we reach the right time and get what we're waiting for bitcoin. I also don't expect that this month of December of early 2020, that the price will rise rapidly.

Now, I think the last 1 year is not good for the BTC hodlers. So, I just ask Gift of Santa Claus this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers?
Although i am not expecting any bull as far as btc is concerned, one thing is certain about bitcoin, its unpreditability. It has proven to be an asset that disobeys prediction from experts, break the heart of its holders and also mends it when one least expected. BTC is quite a Fun to have.

We will see this when Christmas day arrives and I think it will be around the 8,000 $ to 9,000 $ price range.

So now I am preparing because bitcoin may give us a gift or a bitcoin sale.

And whatever happens we just accept this gift because we have no way to lose it because if the price goes down it is still in our favor. Especially for bitcoin investors who are still waiting for the deeper fall of bitcoin to buy.

If that will be the price range, it would not be a christmas gift by the way, 9k has been already reached just a month ago, and for us to have some great profit in the market as good as a christmas gift, the bull run the same as before should be achieve. I wonder if we can still get that price range of 20k dollars since its quite impossible for halving alone to become the reason for the great market increase.

In holiday people usually withdraw their money, and it can cause bitcoin price dumped (hope it not happen). And for christmast and new year holiday, usually market volume decreased significantly. Maybe at that time it is not bad to take a rest in trading too, or at least save more fiat to buy some bitcoin if it is really dumped.
Hopefully this christmas and coming new year, the price will increase again so that if we will sell some of our bitcoins, we will sell them definitely at a good price. But looking at the current price, it might be impossible to happen but as long as volatility is here, there are still chances to expect somehow.

Anyone who has invested at the beginning of this year, even in late 2018 are in profit. What is wrong with people who do not understand the difference from $3000 to today's $8000? Do we talk about "holders" who hold the last 2-3 months or what?

I am a holder from 2014/2015, and the only way I would not profit from BTC is if the price goes under $250. Holding for a few months means nothing, as TheUltraElite says, it takes years to see some serious results.

Of course, there are always exceptions, sometimes you can make a lot of money as a short-term holder, but December of 2017 cannot be repeated every year.
One year back, it seemed like a very long nightmare.

Yes, we have to equate the concept of the holder here, even though prices in the year are less attractive, but as you explained for those who have been holding bitcoin since two or three years ago, they already have quite a big profit.
If the OP analogizes "Santa" as whales and not just magic, hopefully, there are good opportunities. But I still doubt that "Christmas" will really come, even if there is only such a wave that is not too big, maybe after the halving moment next year the real Christmas will really come.

Dont hope too much because it will just surely frustrate you if things doesnt happen on what you do expect.Im aint hating Santa but markets like this
doesnt need to have that kind of presumptions which do involves holidays and attached wishes to it. We've been hoping a rise even on a normal day
and holiday season isnt a factor that can spark out some possibilities. We have seen in the past that holidays doesnt affect crypto market much.

I am really aiming for good news this Christmas season althtough I don't have much holdings still will be able to have faith that it will be a good one, that we will have a good price on it, as good price means a lot of investors and more users are coming in despite the bad news recently from Upbit, Idax and Binance.

Nothing. I expect nothing but further dumps if it would happen. Christmas season is the time where people need to buy gifts and they might withdraw some of their holdings that may have negative pressure on the prices. If however that would not happen, I still do expect dumps by manipulators in anticipation of the next bitcoin halving. So your real "Christmas" might be months after the halving.
i agree maybe the gift we will receive this Christmas is the chance to buy bitcoin at a low price to gain profit in the next few months.

The Holder of bitcoin will demand from Santa Claus to increase the price of bitcoins and the new buyers will demand the price of bitcoin to be decreased so that they may buy cheap bitcoins. What will Santa Claus do in this situation ?  Cheesy

If Santa is also a bitcoin or knows something in cryptocurrency,
Maybe an airdrop would be a good Christmas Gift for everyone, or maybe we could wish for the bitcoin price to pump in the market.
It will be a different Christmas since the bitcoin was on the low price in this coming December but I hope it goes down more so that we could reinvest at a good price in the market.

Just do not expect much.
There could be no Santa this year or the next year. But it should not matter if you are a holder.
As long as you see bitcoin being in good condition for more years then it wont be a problem.

That December 2017 may not happen again. But anything could go North anytime. Maybe he will take you to Northpole.  Grin

There will be none Tongue.  Santa Claus is not real.  It is just a created image for kids so that they will behave properly and businessman emphasize it for business purposes so that there will be another demand for their goods and stuff.

Well, everyone is expecting for a bull-market by the end of this year. Even though it might not happen this year, let's just hope that the price will be good by the end of this year. The market had been up and down recently and the recent crash is really devastating since everyone think that it is the start of the bull-market. Let's all hope that this year will be a good run for bitcoin.

Don't believe in Santa Claus, because you will surely receive only disappointment here.

It's better to wait for whatever the price is. And whatever it is, we will accept it because we can do nothing but keep pace with the waves of whales in the market.

I think bitcoin will go down because at the end of the year usually all cryptocurrency prices will go down and start rising at the beginning of February because in that month investors will start investing

Who told you it was not a good year of bitcoin ? Do you only consider 2017 the good year ?

Probably an opportunity to buy. Seems like a stupid gift but it is gonna pay off in a long run.
I won't sell all of my coins right now even if it looks like I already earned a lot since I was hodling during 4k mark of Bitcoin.
Probably gonna reward myself a coffee by selling a bit of my coins, since I can't still run into Starbucks to buy coffee using crypto as it isn't adopted yet  Undecided .

Yes, the most sensible advice which you can give to anyone or to follow yourself is to hold the bitcoins and buy if you have some spare money. There is no other investment which is better than bitcoins right now. Just hold your coins till the end of 2021 and thank me later.  Smiley
