The crypto market is very much down and out these days. The only gift HODLers want from Santa is a rise in the price of BTC. The last time we have such a gift was in 2017 when BTC touched its ATH.
Another gift can be a further decline in BTC price so that people like me can buy more BTC.

Probably not much, BTC might be hovering within 7-10k range. Bitcoin 2020 halving is already calculated in the current price.

From the context that I could perceive based on the topic, I think it is not just the hodlers that will benefit most from the great upcoming increase in the market price. It is everyone that is involved in the cryptocurrency. Because basically if you don't have any holdings of crypto, if you see the market getting pretty well, you'll go ahead and buy some, others will go enjoy joining bounty, or getting paid in crypto instead of fiats even in daily transactions.

Well i guess maybe Santa have to make a list of all the bitcoiners he will probably meet to know what to give them, lol! I doubt Santa is even aware of anything called btc or crypto in general,

I'm personally going to create everybody in my family an ethereum address, and send each of them a bag of shit tokens.
Since they have no idea what they are or what they're worth, I'll just tell them to hold onto their 'present' for at least a decade before they try to sell it.
By that time they will have either long forgotten about it, they will have died, or the shitcoin might have miraculously increased in value.
Maybe I'll just send out 1 DOGE each, they'll get the joke (probably).

For this year, the only thing we got is the short bull run from April when the price moved from around $3k to $13k plus. Bull run does not happen before halving (I don't know for sure, but based on what I've seen), so the price is either going to remain remain stable with a little fluctuation up and down or it will get dumped. So, I'm only expecting the price to start going up after the halving, June next year. That was the same thing that happened in last bull in 2016, the price went up a few weeks after the halving.in my opinion they are free to expect the good according to their wishes and expectations about bitcoin

Well, though we have been good traders and holders this year, I don't think Santa would fulfill our wish for the bull market to approach. The only wish that I want to for Bitcoin to have a better value this Christmas season. I'm hoping but I don't want to expect much because we all know that the market is really unpredictable. The fact that Bitcoin is existing is already something to be thankful for.

We cant expect much from market or you so called santa on this christmas as prices are still down and have shown correction from these few days and we might see $6-$7k by the end of december so you can invest at that moment and increase your profit margin next year.The next year will show much positive impact on prices and rise to $15-$20k by the end of 2020 so lets hope for the betterment of market with increased adoption so stay positive. We don't actually know what will be the price of bitcoin in Christmas day. And I think we better wait for the possible price of bitcoin so we won't be disappointed if the bitcoin price drops over Christmas.

2018 wasn't so good because it started the year with all time high but then ended with a bad year. I guess everyone knows the number on much bitcoin went high during that time and on how low it did.
But looking for something this season as a "Christmas gift" do you think that we're still in a low after all the pumps and rallies that we have seen for this year? you should even be grateful enough that we're sitting on $7k above.

This is just hope according to the OP statement, so in my opinion they are free to expect the good according to their wishes and expectations about bitcoin and expect a gift on Christmas or a very special day to get a Gift from Santa who doesn't know its contents, good or bad.
There are two things that people can expect. Someone gifting them a big load of bitcoins or bitcoin price touching a large value higher than probably 20k USD. Both of these are unrealistic and unattainable unless something miraculous happens the chances of which is very very low.So instead of dwelling on children's folktales, why not focus on gather more bitcoin at this time since the price is still hovering at 7k USD so you have more amount to sell when it crosses 10k USD in future. This is a good time to stock up coins because people are selling for spending fiat on Christmas purchases.
