Can not destroy bitcoin because bitcoin is the digital currency that spins on the internet, and all societies depend on bitcoin to achieve a dream in their life.

Only one thing can destroy BITCOIN and that is us.There is nothing else which could ever stop or end BITCOIN and this is because at the present many are there who trust BITCOIN blindly and are investing in BITCOIN widely. If we stop using BITCOIN its price would start to fall and one day it will come to an end.

i think The one who can destroy Bitcoin is investor itself, and if every investor thinking to sell her bitcoin so bitcoin price will go down and bitcoin will dont have price
That's right, When all investors sell all their bitcoins on a large scale until no one wants to buy, then it will be the end of bitcoins. But stay calm down, the possibility of it happening is very small at this time, due on bitcoin so precious.

governments can do it by regulations and banning using bitcoin

Other businesses like gold, silver, dominance of US Dollar, Euro etc.. other investments will stop Bitcoin (if it is not ponzi).

Governments cannot do anything.

If not handled properly, bitcoin mining is likely to affect the global use of resources and energy. The Bitcoin industry can not ignore the possible economic, social and environmental impact of cryptocurrencies.

I've already been extremely concerned about energy usage when it comes to Bitcoin mining. I don't think it is the most wasteful thing we've come up with as humans, but it certainly is up there with the amount of energy we use to accomplish our goals. The Bitcoin industry actually might be able to ignore all of the economic, social and environment impacts of POW mining for a long-time, because in a free market it will continue to grow until something better comes along or there are no longer the resources to sustain it. The economic system of the future would probably hold out a lot longer than almost anything else in terms of energy preservation and prioritization.

I'm really not 100% sure, but yea I do think it will only be a temporary halt. What I think is though, that EMP can actually destroy electronic hardware, not just sort of crash/stop them like when a blackout occurs. Though it's probably unlikely for an EMP to destroy 100% of the harddrives of the whole world. Tongue

EMP interference is generally disruptive or damaging to electronic equipment, and at higher energy levels a powerful EMP event such as a lightning strike can damage physical objects such as buildings and aircraft structures. -Wikipedia

It sounds like paper wallets are our best defense against the dark arts. A really powerful EMP sounds like it would still only wipe out about 90% or so of the Bitcoin supply, even if it took out every hard-drive with it. This would serve to make Bitcoins extremely valuable once they come back online, or render them obsolete; again though, I believe there will be nodes so long as there is internet, so obsoletion would have to come to the internet first.

The blockchain in general and the crypto currency market will be collapse if all the electricity and data communication and internet will be close entire world. It also can be destroyed by another competitor crypto currency for ex Ethereum, or any alternative bitcoin as a fork. In my point of view those are not logical and possible. Against to them that government can not destroy the bitcoin due to its decentralized nature.

the only one that can destroy bitcoin is the bitcoin investor itself.
bitcoin is built with everyone's trust, and if the trust is lost then bitcoin will also go away or destroyed.

They do not really destroy bitcoin .We can still see them in the block chain ,its just no one can spend them. however there a way to effectively destroy bitcoin by removing them from block chain. Bitcoin will live as long as a handful of computers run the bitcoin, soft wear on a network. Bitcoin is the top crypto currency unless the community destroys itself due to greed carelessness.

Well there are two potential reasons for the supposed bitcoin death. First is the death of internet and another is tge death of interests
The first one speaks for its name, when the internet finally dies then bitcoin dies with it too because bitcoin depended on the internet for it's.existence. So suppose the use of the internet is prohibited, bitcoin's existence would also fade with it as well.  Another is the death of peopls's interest. When people are either fed up or just completely lose interest in bitcoin and there are few to no more users of bitcoin, bitcoin is sure to die.

Can destroy the BTC, I think it is possible only the collapse of the world's network. As long as there is a network, BTC will be able to trade. Of course, if you really wait until the end of the world, BTC will not exist.  :)

Bitcoin cannot be destroyed. But the yield of cryptocurrencies will decrease. I am sure that governments will want to tax revenues from cryptocurrencies. This will reduce the yield. The most important thing is that through taxation the government does not organize a fight against cryptocurrency.

When bitcoin is already centralized and controlled by the government that's the death of bitcoin because it will defeat its purpose why this technology is made in the first place.

I think the only thing that can stop bitcoin is the loss of demand in the market and if the internet will be lost, which I think is impossible to happen. Bitcoin will be reigning in the crypto industry for long time because its beneficial to the people.

Bitcoin appeared in 2009, eight years, the total value of the circulation of bitcoins up and down 200 billion US dollars. Bitcoin was declared "dead" by the media countless times. However, it is undeniable that the media has a huge influence. Therefore, with each media claim that "bitcoin is dead", the price of bitcoin will drop sharply. The magic is that every time Bitcoin is alive, its price has hit a new high all the way. In other words, in the face of so-called drug poisoning amateur media reports, bitcoin gradually developed "resistance", negative media coverage for the impact of bitcoin prices getting smaller and smaller. What will eventually destroy bitcoin? If there is a force that can destroy bitcoin, it must be human greed.

its brainless propaganda sect and the fact that bitcoin is some kind leecing ressources,

from a humanist perspective bitcoin has legtimiacy issues

I do not think anyone will destroy bitcoin, so do not be too bad assuming bitcoin, though bitcoin prices are the end of it is down so we as bitcoin users should keep learning about bitcoin, so do not have to talk bad about bitcoin, we as bitcoin users enough just focus with bitcoin now.

Hi,

I only see two potential things able to destroy bitcoin:

- a worldwide catastrophe, destroying all existing networks, including electricity and of course Internet. Thus, no more bitcoin.
- the creation of a better version of bitcoin. So actually bitcoin will not disappear but will no longer be in use and over the long term, will probably get forgotten.

Indeed, when mass media are announcing the death of bitcoin, it is quite meaningless! Wink
