There are two things that may happen if the government in you country knows about bitcoin. The government will either ban it or legalize it. There are already some countries in the world that ban bitcoin in their place.

Using bitcoin as a point of sale transaction token in Bali (Indonesia) is illegal, as per regulatory action taken by policymakers in the region back in December 2017. Shortly after the regulatory action was put in place, however, police on the island went undercover to investigate reports of businesses still accepting bitcoin as a payment method.
The results of this undercover operation led to only two businesses being uncovered as still accepting bitcoin, with a further 44 (with operations ranging from car rental to jewelry and more) having just recently stopped.

Not prohibit but regulate to better maintain the security of the people while maintaining economic stability in a country because every rule made must have a good idea and as ordinary people we can only comply with all existing regulations.

actually, the government has learned about bitcoin in my country. but, I think they have not been too focused on this. well, there may be other bigger things to watch out for. I am sure, the government will support this performance.

I think they will ban bitcoin because of the fearful that may affect of the economics of my country but i disagree there opinion because working bitcoin is very helpful for me especially the support financial.
My country is already aware of bitcoin. As a matter of fact, there is a lot of news about it. The first news that flash was they explain what bitcoin is, the mechanics, and how it can help us. Thay also held a seminar regarding this eith some bitcoin expert. The government of us is studying the bitcoin right now whether to embrace it or not because of there were also a bad and negative news about bitcoin. Bit I guess they are planning to ban it due to the reports of people who were involve here that was scammed by others.

People will complain about banning of cryptocurrency because most of them already invest a huge amount in bitcoins and they did not place their money on banks since cryptocurrency is more profitable more than fiat.

Our government here in the Philippines had already found out about crypto currencies, and they alreay signed something to allow it.

governments in my country recognize bitcoin as merely an asset or commodity traded. they do not allow bitcoin as a valid payment instrument. so I do not think bitcoin has any impact on my country. but bitcoin has helped many people in my country to achieve financial freedom.

The government of my country already know about bitcoin and not all people in our country know or have history about bitcoin in that point bitcoin in my country use for a pyramid scamming but government don't do anything just to arrest who behind it but for btc there is nothing.

surely it would be nice if the government already knows bitcoin in my country, especially if the government is legalize bitcoin it will definitely make the bitcoin users will be very happy because the bitcoin is already there legal umbrella

I don't know what happen to bitcoin if government know about it. We all know that bitcoin is a good way to earn more money but it's decentralized and no tax pay. So that, we don't know if the government accept the bitcoin to give earnings to their citizens in the country.

In our country it is not that used enough by people.Only some people believe of bitcoin technology.They too think that bitcoin as a scam.So the government if ever have ideas about it maybe it will put tax onto it.

No government did not know Bitcoin in the last year. Bitcoin created a hot trend through its growth rate, it became one of the popularity subjects to discuss in Economy and Financial programs. I remember in the last year, when I wake up and turn on my computer, I just saw the news about cryptocurrency in anywhere. So, do you think the government not know crypto? Never! the government is now aware of the existence of bitcoin but the government in my country does not legitimately prohibit people using bitcoin, nor the government in my country nor encourage people to use bitcoin, this is what makes us uneasy. I admit that bitcoin has helped me, especially about my family's vitalisation

in my country the government knows about it, but I think it does not hinder them so far, but if something changes, or they will regulate it or prohibit it

I think the state government is NOT blind enough to make bitcoin as their hideous mask. I think they involved secretly as their collaborate with masons and all related to higher heirarchy of the system. They are not fag but they brag poor people on the lower class to be more lower. This is not a form of hate but just something to reflect on my mind. I think they had the most time of bitcoin and uses it as their lifestyle and everyday life. They have accounts and accountable for it once losses. They have friends and company for it once built.
