BTC dumped to $3300 and yet the alts have recovered well so far. No matter how low bitcoin will plunge there's still a window for these alts to recover but it won't be quick. This will happen gradually.
As we can see, many alts have added and increased a bit with their prices but don't look upon the past prices of it during the ath's.

Everything will recover because we are fighting with the sharks. they constantly feed us with food and then kill us by dumping the market.
When they dump to a certain point, they will have a plan to pump the market back that no one expected. just like when bitcoin dropped to $ 3k3, everyone thought it would die and many people left the market. but they did not know that all a game of small fish and sharks. so we should be alert and have the patience needed to make more money.

Most of the time traders who followed solid projects will anticipate the big downfall to their supported project when bitcoin suffer with big loses, with that, instead of worrying they will take the opportunities to buy more and hold. Those investors who are optimistic will keep finding ways not to fall into panic but will engage to long term process aiming to make better outcome when bitcoin and the market start to bounce back.

This is just your own prediction and everyone has different thoughts when talking about this issue. I personally believe that Bitcoin will continue to remain stable over the next few months and will tend to increase more so put your faith in this market because if there is great faith, you can succeed in trading . Bitcoin is a very risky investment and altcoins are heavily dependent on this coin but I'm sure both of them will raise their prices someday.

I believe it is fairly possible. Considering how it dropped from $20k to $13k in a matter of 5 days in 2017, it happened. It may happen again, it may not. However, you're on point about how Bitcoin affects the altcoin market, as a person who had various altcoins a few years back when it (Bitcoin) crashed down hard to about 10k I ended up losing a fair amount of my bank. Now, the only thing I trust in is Ethereum and thats about it.

There is many possibility, first altcoin will drop more dip if Bitcoin crashes to $5k. That is because Bitcoin is main currency for us to trade. But maybe there is some altcoin will going to get really high bullish. Because some altcoin is depend the how many solid investor in the back. Some people will think Bitcoin is near dead, so we must find another coin and change Bitcoin domination with best fundamental and real project for transaction.

It is very hard that Bitcoin crashes back to 5000$, but assuming that this could happen someday, it will affect hardly the whole crypto market for sure. We knew, depending on our experience in trading BTC and altcoins, that BTC price and chart are affecting most altcoins markets in the previous years. So I guess most altcoins prices will decrease even more if BTC price dropped down to $5k.

i dont really sure LTC solid like u think, when btc going down, then LTC too.
and LTC recovery after btc recovery first, its same like mostly altcoins.
the only not affected by crashes of btc is LEO.
just check CMC for make u sure.

The bulls never announce when they will enter the market, let the bears keep having fun, it is their time now, and with this fun they are having, they are only giving us the chance to keep accumulating more coin's of those projects that are recognized as tops in the market, when the bull is ready to enter the market, it would come without announcing.

We can see sample of such case in April this year when the price of bitcoin suddenly started rising unexpectedly and nobody really knows exactly where it came from or how it happened, but the bull eventually succeeded in pushing the price up from where it was during that time till what it is now and I think at this level of bitcoin, the price is still fair. Barriers will definitely be broken In near future which I believe maybe very soon.

Well, because of the panic, I think the price of altcoin will also go down as bitcoin prices go down. I think that altcoin dependence on bitcoin is really quite large at the moment. in fact, the effect of bitcoin when the price drops $ 500 to $ 1000, it makes the altcoin price quite badly dump. I think if it only goes back to $5,000 then more than likely the only thing that will happen is money will come out of the alt coin market cap as well and the price would lower on all of them at the same time. However, if it crashed to below $1,000 again, I think we would probably have a problem. It would be a good opportunity for another coin to come and claim the top spot. More than likely Ethereum would take over as king.

Who knows? But if it does happens, there will always be the probability that people may start to turn their interests on Altcoins with unique features and more use cases and start increasing on their holdings - giving a much needed push to its value in the end.
Or it can also be with Bitcoin crashing down, most Altcoins may follow suit and fall straight down the bin.
Either way, anything is possible. We just can never tell.

More and more altcoin will experience a substantial price decline if indeed the price will decline to reach that point. people should be able to keep the price of bitcoin back up for the growth of altcoin that many people really want. my belief that later prices will rise is still quite large,but if the price of bitcoin drops to that point, I'm sure altcoin, which in terms of their fundamentals are not so strong, will drop dramatically in price
