It is not a bad coin, the only fear is its weak security, so if it recovered and survived then it will be better for them and we all, so I will also buy some of them, but before buying I will wait that the price come to lowest value.

I think it will behave better after the recent hack, the developers should learn from the $60 million lesson.

I hope that they learn some lesson, as with that a lot of people lost their saved amount of ethereum due to its value leak, I hope that in the future we do not see the same tragedy.

I agree with this. They should write more robust codes and make sure the security is the most important.

The time to buy ETH was during the ICO.

But at that time, there was big risk as there was no certainty that the Ethereum would be very popular.

I actually think eth might make a comeback now once it gets its hardfork or whatever it does.  Price seems to be holding and even rising quite well the last while.  I won't be buying any though.

The Ethereum mining hash rate is still increasing. That makes me think the miners are very confident.
No, i don't think its because of confidence, everyone wants a money making machine and the most profitable is still eth, just!
However, it has been neck and neck between eth and eth clones and feathercoin since the Dao thing.
(feathercoin has only a small market cap and is not carried by all exchanges).
REF: https://www.whattomine.com
Sia is now on the scene so it looks like eth has growing competition.  Miners that have wealth may mine a coin through loyalty (or blind faith), but miners that are not have power bills to pay and will mine what is most profitable.

Oh! if it survives, i will buy it at $2

If it survives, you will not be able to buy at $2. the price is over $10 now, and it is rising at the moment.

Just put some buy orders around 8$, Eth will survive no doubt, not that easy to kill that monster

Market cap is  $ 859,485,012  it will no disappear over night, weak hands are out already!

I think I will wait for a few more weeks. If the Etheruem price rises above 12 dollars, I will buy some.

If ethereum will survive well i think the safe that i can instead of investing again with bitcoin better to mine ethereum for safety..
Do you think ethereum still affected from the dai issue?

The initial cost of setting up the Etheruem mining is quite high, you also need some skills to do that.

The Ethereum mining difficulty is still rising. That means a lot of investment in the mining facility. People are very confident about the Ethereum.

i am not so sure about ethereum's survival. it has many problems that can not be solved and the price of it has already been too high inside a bubble and it should have gone down eventually.

but if i detect a bottom and can see any sign of rise i would buy it because there is always a good profit in dead cat bounces.

Maybe the Ethereum price will keep on dropping until the hacker is caught and then there will be a relief rally.

Do some reading and come back for a second thought would be my advice.

Strategize by buying the bottom and wait for it to go up again  Wink
Your strategy is not complete how if price of ethereum still going down do you will hold them? Or you will cut lost, you should be adding management risk and another else.
