You have a long list of altcoin portfolio that have tanked down by 90% since you participated in the ICO.  What was $5000 is now worth $500.  You are at a loss of $4000 and there happen to be an upcoming token sale that is pretty hyped.

You are in desperate need to recover your losses and you plan to invest in that hyped token sale in hope that you can earn 5-10x.  Would you:

1. Pump fresh fiat out of your pocket into the token sale or
2. Trade off the the altcoins you have for BTC/ETH and invest into that hyped token sale.

In order to reduce your losses, it is enough to invest in several good and promising projects that will give more than 50% growth in your investments. Such projects have already begun to appear on the IEO of major exchanges.

Recovering the losses is dependent on the ability, knowledge of the trader. If an experienced trader prefers to shut down the pc and take whatever he lost then this comes from experience. Plan your trading strategy and trade that plan, not rocket science.
There are very few traders on the cryptocurrency market who follow some kind of strategy, as a rule, they buy and wait for them to grow or fall. like in a casino
No there are so many traders but only few are not experienced yet, in trading nonsense decision can make us suffer allot, so I follow the only one strategy which is market rules, I try to buy at low price and then I prefer hold because price changes so we should buy at low price then hold with patience, because trader can cover all the lose by patience, skills and knowledge.

You need to gain more experience to recover losses, because in any case, everything in the cryptocurrency depends on the experience of a person, the more he knows the tactics and strategies, the more chances he has to earn.

The standard situation with diversification, I think that there is nothing new in this, so here it is clearly necessary to understand that cryptocurrency is the toto sector, which today has great potential to engage in hedging risks. It really is.

If you are a real risk taker, you will sell all your coins and invest it on the hyped tokens. But make sure that we should not put all our eggs in a single basket. Invest your money on multiple potential coins and tokens.

Will it be possible in any timeline! I do not think so. If you wish to recover the losses you face on the trading field. You must choose any IEO coin at the time of launchpad public sale and invest the money you can make money out of it.

Or you may take the balance money you have the losses to the any form of investments. It will be helpful for you to choose some more options also for the goodness.

One way I have recovered some of my losses was going into trading, search for a good coin with potential and very undervalue because of the bearish market, but the coin at a good entry point wait for some percentage increase, then sell, continue the cycle.
maybe your advice from trading is true but we also have to look at the development of the crypto market and in my opinion holding back with patience and confidence to get every opportunity we will get in investing
if we have no skill in crypto trading it could make our loss bigger than before.and we should not take wrong decision if we want to recover our losses from our investment.if we didnt sell any coins we have , maybe we would not loss it.

First of all, a very hyped ICO might be somewhat overpriced to begin with. Second of all I would try to look behind all the hype and focus on the core tech behind the coin/token and also the team behind it.
HYPE is the biggest enemy of the crypto market IMO. Overestimating the consequences can lead to the wrong situation that can ruin our daily industry tasks. I am sure the economic crisis starts with such small booms and it explodes somewhere in the future.
most investors interested investing their money because hype in this market.the lure offered is very tempting for new investors.and most of them didnt want miss the best opportunity.maybe we should learn again about this hype.

Guys there are a good alternative to investing in cryptocurrency to buy some coins. What about joining bounty campaigns and airdrops in a bid to cut your loss and gain some money as well. I have also suffered loss after I bought some coins which went down in prices. So I am working as a bounty hunter and also join airdrop so as to recover my loss. Participating in bounty campaigns will not require you fiat money. But instead they will give you tokens in reward for your work for them.

If your trade is in loss and you trust the project than buy the dips and lower average price. If you made a mistake than try to find another project that has a low price and enters their new buy for another profit.

Do not act crazy and buy high and sell low. That is the biggest mistake of a trader.

Well yes. How many times have I seen a coin fall and rise. And a couple of times I panicked and sold my coins for less than I bought. And then he wished many times about it. It is necessary to always think through your strategy.

Very rarely, I have to cut the loss, most often I just wait until the price recovers, even though it takes a lot of time to repent. Several times I tried to trade, which led to disastrous results.

most people today choose to wait for a price to increase. because they don't want to get a loss. because loss is just a pain from their hard work. so everyone has to wait for the right time to sell coins and of course we also have to be patient.

I also do that when i am investing in an ICO because that is the most important part of investing into ICOs projects. Do some checking first before putting any amount of your hard earned money so you will not experience any huge losses from investing. A good investor is always good in background checking before making a decision regarding in investing.

To recover for losses, an investor must reinvest but this time with a different strategy. The best thing to do is to buy different valuable coins in order to reduce the risk of losing all the investment to a single coin. This time around, take time to study the coin/project before investing.
reinvesting in different coins maybe could recovered our losses in previous coins.and maybe buying major coins could help us to do this.updating information in each project help us to find coins that will rise.
There are two mindsets when you see people coming around the market. One school of thought believes that if you are loser in this market, even with one coin or with many, you should accept the fact that you aren’t made for this, hence leave. Furthermore, they don’t even think of recovery strategy. The later one, they are determined with flexible strategies and multiple coin lovers and target for them to make recovery with other coins.

For recovering the losses, I put the fresh money to the cryptocurrencies if the loss percentage is not above 70% or more. Earning big amounts can be real if there is a good trading plan and trading the same plan.
