That is really what stops people from using bitcoin. Is they are lack of knowledge.

Agreed that some people hates or stop using bitcoin because they do not have enough knowledge about bitcoin and i think also some cases that they lose their bitcoin in some investment and they getting disappointed that is why they decided to stop using it.

Of course and we can't do something about it because there are some of remote places that there is no way to let them know about bitcoin.
Because the problem is very hard.
No internet connection, no computer at all and they are from remote places.

When you see places like that, though, you basically have to write them off completely. If they completely lack the internet, computers and everything else, then you might as well assume they even lack most banking systems that we have these days. There's no way they'll even know what digital banking is, let alone what Bitcoin would be.

This is true. It cannot be done in just words. A trial is needed for them to see it. When teaching someone also be sure that he or she is hands on a computer or smartphone with an internet. That way it can be shown. You could let him create an online wallet account then try to bring hom to faucets let him see how much he earned for just a bit of time.

A lack of knowledge of the internet, new technologies and what bitcoin does. There is also a fear with some people that their money may be stolen as a result of it being kept on an area controllable by the internet/remotely

It's a big shame from the media. The worst thing is that the average joe takes everything for granted. I know some people here that think Bitcoin is just a ponzi scheme. No matter how many times I explain them what Bitcoin is and what it can mean for them, they still think the media is right. Instead of doing their own research first, they take fud from the media for granted. It's really sad.

thats true, i think media is one of the biggest things that make people not use their bitcoins or even not to start with it, it is definitely better to just ignore them and thats it

As for me, it is both. Lack of knowledge and lack of faith. Because since the people dont have any faith when it comes to this type of currency, they don't bother to find out what it really is and the opportunities in it. Or since the people are lack of knowledge about it, they can have their faith in it. Which is really applicable in real life situation. Like for example, how can you trust someone whom you doesn't know much yet right?

We have same scenario, that's what I think too. Having the lack of knowledge in bitcoin is one of the reason why people can't use bitcoin is probably a good reason it's stopping them.

People are just scared, the bitcoin has a bad name and due to the fact it does not really attract people right now.
Maybe when the media will be a lot more positive there is a way that it will attract more people but this is also still the question it this really will happen than.

The problem is, most of the government controls the mass media that is probably the main reason that they are not usually positive with bitcoins and particularly with bitcoin community too. They like to monopolize the currency of their country, usd for example in the America.

Not only in that way that people stop using bitcoin and i think the main reason because bitcoin has already a bad image if you know about MMM which is a company that they can attract people to their company using bitcoin. but most of the review about mmm its a scam and they still promoting mmm here in our country which is scam.. people didnt know about this company but they are learning about actual how bitcoin works..

At the first time that I saw videos created by MMM members. I knew it that is a scam. Because with the system they have.
You can just easily see that they are ponzi.
And I'm sure that a lot of members stop using bitcoin from their experience there.
