The problem is, most of the government controls the mass media that is probably the main reason that they are not usually positive with bitcoins and particularly with bitcoin community too. They like to monopolize the currency of their country, usd for example in the America.

Not only in that way that people stop using bitcoin and i think the main reason because bitcoin has already a bad image if you know about MMM which is a company that they can attract people to their company using bitcoin. but most of the review about mmm its a scam and they still promoting mmm here in our country which is scam.. people didnt know about this company but they are learning about actual how bitcoin works..

Try to explain Bitcoin to your parents/grandparents. When I first did (2013, after it reached $1k, the hype was everywhere), they didn't understand what it was at all. Now they do, but they still don't trust it. I don't either, because everything here is virtual. But they wouldn't put their money in a virtual currency.

Fear of losing of the price will going down,i think that's the only reason why they are afraid using bitcoin it's already happen back to 2012 or 2013 when the price of bitcoin go to 1000$ and back again the at lower price .they fear to waste there money to something that they don't really sure what well happen.

What is stopping people from using the bitcoin is mostly that it has a good future but the worth is not good.
Another thing is that people do not want to take the risks because you can lose money due to the worth.

Yeah lack of knowledge seems the issue why people doubting to use bitcoin and they are afraid to stake with it because they are afraid to lose their money because they dont know where to go and where to ask if they have problems about bitcoin and some other people are not really aware to it and seems it new to their eyes.

As for me, it is both. Lack of knowledge and lack of faith. Because since the people dont have any faith when it comes to this type of currency, they don't bother to find out what it really is and the opportunities in it. Or since the people are lack of knowledge about it, they can have their faith in it. Which is really applicable in real life situation. Like for example, how can you trust someone whom you doesn't know much yet right?

YEah Digitalbitcoin you are so right. There are countries whose government are restricting the use of bitcoins in their countries for some reasons. In addition to that if there are countries who are allowed by their governments to use bitcoins, still the people are not using it since they are lack of knowledge about it and they don't know the opportunities in using bitcoins. But I hope someday, this things will get resolved.

As for me, I think it is the awareness of majority of the people in this world that is stopping people from using bitcoins. Because why would you risk on something that is not generally acceptable. The second reason is the price spread? The difference between the buying and the selling. Since the value of bitcoin is high it means that the spread between the buying and the selling is also high which gives us unecessary losses.

For adoption and circulation of digital currency it will take some time. Already there been 8 years gone. As Bitcoin is the biggest invention of this century we must have to go beyond to make its simple and easy to use for day to day expensives too.

Less knowledge about bitcoins is the only thing according to me that is stopping people from using bitcoins.Bitcoin is still too complex for many people so they just ignore it and use direct money which they can see and touch.

idont think they will stop using bitcoin specially when the bitcoin price will go rise more . but the reason you will stop using bitcoin when your multiple times got scammed and lost more money just the only reason to stop using it or bitcoin will going to dead.

That is really frustrating when people are getting victimized a lot of times with scam sites. I don't know if they are the reason why they are getting victimized again and again and they are not learning the lesson at all.

I sure if the scam sites become an important reason to make people stop using bitcoin because they always losing their amount and not getting their money back. and require them to put new funds to investment. I will feel depression if that's happened in myself.

Well yaa Scam sites are one of the reason to stop people from using bitcoins. But the experience can us cautious and wise. People should also acknowledge the good side of using bitcoins. I also believe that the conservative mind of many people is keeping them away from bitcoins. They don't see bitcoins as assets.

NO. Bitcoin isn't anonymous. It's pseudonymous. You can clearly see where your bitcoins went at any given time. You can then follow them for as long as you want. Someone always owns that address but the name/IP attached may not lead you to the culprit as quickly as you wanted.

How to protect your bitcoins though? Don't ever use online wallets. Coinbase.com, blockchain.info, Xapo wallet. Just don't use these centralized wallets. There's no need to. If you're looking for great security then you should make paper wallets on an Ubuntu Live USB. This way you know you don't have any malware as its a brand new fresh OS each time you use it.
