Agreed, most users have the same thinking. The price fluctuation happening without being stable for a long time is the major reason for which users hesitate to be a part of bitcoin.

I don't trust the government. In most cases, I hate the government. However, I do trust them slightly more than some stranger (like Mark Karpeles), halfway around the world, holding my personal information (even drivers license, credit card or debit card info), running a business that may or may not be around tomorrow.

That's really an issue and reason why people are stopping from using bitcoin. Because there are some people that are tackling about the security of
bitcoin wallet addresses.
Thinking about that an hacker can easily penetrate to their accounts and get the balance they have.

I think bitcoin is one of the safest things... Because the wallet does not show your information and the id of the wallet are really long .. I the real bank they have the Id, email, contact no., and various personal info, but this wallet are safe...So security may not be the major cause !
and i don't think its an easy job to do !

in my opinion that is the biggest thing what makes people not starting using bitcoins, but it also attracts more traders to bitcoin so i guess that doesnt make too much negative impact

also governments sometimes stop people from using their bitcoins to be honest because people are sometimes not allowed to use their bitcoins as they might be punished with prison

People aren't using bitcoin because they have bank accounts, credit cards, and fiat. To most, there isn't a very large incentive to link their bank account information to a possibly fraudulent bitcoin gateway to get a currency that may, or may not, be worth what they paid for it an hour from now. Besides, isn't it easier to use cash?

Maybe they don't use it sometimes because of the double spend thing, I had a friend who was scammed earlier by some exchange who send him funds that were double spent. Maybe that is a reason for most ?

Yes, I think the hacking and scamming are the main reasons behind it, mainly because innocent people do not know how to keep their money secured and how to check if a transaction is done in right way or not ( as some people scam others by sending bitcoin with 0 fees and reversing it )

Yes we can't remove that kind of reason why people are stopping from using bitcoin is that they are frightened to get hacked and scammed by people.
Hacking is very possible because it is an online currency, but with scamming it is a negligence of the user if he doesn't get to know what he is investing for his bitcoin.

Yes, Thats my experience before, I think i need to invest first before gaining bitcoin, But now i focused and i now how can i earn without investing on a ponzi sites

Ponzi's are not really a good way in investing because you will just end up getting scammed. And for sure why many people are stopping from using bitcoin is that they failed in investment in hyip's.
Because of the frustration they have experienced they will just turn to stop using bitcoin.

Well if they only know, they don't have to invest immediately in bitcoin. They can work for it and wait for good offers if they have skills.
They can offer their services to the people here and earn instant bitcoin once they completed their jobs.

I agree with that. Hackers and hacking methods have been scattered all over the internet so it is one reason to reject this currency for you dont know when it could happen.

True, but I think that the reason all those who do not use the bitcoin because they thought that only a tool Bitcoin MLM or a scam. We know that bitcoin has no physical and a company that overshadows it, it could be a reason that is complained of by everyone

Yes, PONZI company gave BITCOIN a bad impression specially to those who have not heard of BITCOIN yet. For example, here in my country there are lot of PONZI MLM company that prey on the people who does not know anything about BITCOIN. Funny, they even claim that they are the pioneers of BLOCKCHAIN. I was like wth LOL. Then after sometime this company shut down with their investors money. So whenever someone heard about BITCOIN they think automatically that it is a SCAM company. Pretty much misconception and deception are stopping people from using BTC.

For the general public which are new into bitcoin they are faced with 2 very big problems.
First there are the ponzi sites, then there are the scammers. It's a hard world for them.

That's really a threat for the bitcoin industry because of those kind of activities it is really the reason why people are stopping from using bitcoin.
But I'm thinking to be fair it is not there fault if they get into ponzi sites.
