I only use my etherwallet all this time. if you want to keep it from being too risky to lose, then complete with the features contained there are ways to better secure ethereum wallet.

But most of the time I used MEW and I think I've been using it for 4 years almost already and so far so good, then my second option was
Shapeshift mate.
After much thought, I decided to opt for Ledger. Although I still use Myetherwallet, but the safety of my altcoins is a very important aspect for me. I believe that the hardware wallet is much more reliable than any online wallets. Even if you are inexperienced, you will not give your private key or seed phrase to anyone.
Apart from myether wallet, I am using Burberry wallet. Till now I didn't experience any issues using it. So it's best for me.

There are lots of wallets these days. For me the best one is ledger hardware wallet. If you cannot afford that then metamask is the best option.

If we are talking about Ethereum wallet (not all ERC20 tokens), there is also an alternative like KeepKey, BitBox01. BitBox01 must be the cheapest (around 55$) and the smallest wallets.
It very much depends on our comfort levels. As for me it’s sensible to use Coinbase, which is amongst the best comfortable options you could think about. So just got to see what we are happy with and that’s the Crypto Wallet we must be using. I just won’t ever suggest anything fancy or new, it’s just crazy to take such risk and is just not advisable to anyone at all, and at least I will not. It’s better to be safe than to be sorry.

I have Trust wallet,Blockchain, Zapo but I always use MEW. Its because you can store erc20 tokens there. I'm familiar with it so I use it always. Easy to use coz you can open it on any web browser.

Where did you hear it from? And what application do they make? Android? or iOS? Because I did not hear anything about it and I did not find the official MEW app as you say.
I always keep every coin to the best wallet recommended by the team behind the coin / token. It is not difficult to keep all your wallet information on an external hard or even make 2 or 3 copies on many USBs. One wallet for all coins is usually a wallet that will not give you full control over your coins (private key), I will never do that.
at first I used myetherwallet, but first MEW didn't have an application so I made a wallet in MEW then used the ImToken application which was very easy to use. I heard now that MEW has an official application but I haven't tried it yet
I think the way we use it is easily attractive and also good and safe when I use a web wallet, for me it's also safe for us to use.
