I used to work 16 hours because we had some problems with a gas leak but there were no colleagues to replace me. I couldn't leave before we finish the job so I worked for 16 straight hours. When there is need you dont feel like its 16 hours. Now some of my shifts that last for 8 hours seam longer because of boredom.

I regularly work 12 hour shifts but the longest shift I have ever worked was 24 hours straight.
It was a very busy time of the year for the company I was working for at the time.

48 hours...
Before I married, I worked in a large pharmaceutical distribution company and every year we always check the warehouse inventory, at that time there were some items that did not match our quantity with our system, so we looked for track records and where the goods were for 2 days.

This is really crazy as working for 2 days is really tiring and long. Unless it’s the passion and the hobby on which you work for so long is understandable as then you do not consider it as a job and drive and force with you is much better when you are doing job at somebody else company. But certainly, this drain the energy and after certain hours the energy just keep on dripping and after certain time you are not that productive.

I worked a 14 hour shift 8am-10pm
actually not a shift but only a emergency at work that we need to work 16 hours a day for at least 2 weeks and 5 days.

that is the longest working day for me and also tiring and stressful.

that is why after that emergency and everything comes good?i took a long vacation of 1 week and go somewhere out of the city to relax and rest.

Noooo? That's insane! But honestly telling you guys here in the Philippines if you work as a Building Security Guard, other's have worked 48 hours straight or even 72 hours. A single shift for Security Guards here are commonly at 12 hours and due to low man power, if one of the security guard goes off-work, then the others will cover for the vacant shift. The good thing is that they get paid on their extra work. But really, working a straight 3 shifts is not healthy. I am not a security guard by the way. The longest I have tried working straight is for 16 hours as a call center agent.
I believe what you are pointing is those Security Guards are not totally having That long work but they choose to give their time to each others so they can have longer break also, like if they took the schedule of their partner so after Him the Partner will stay the same long time the first one duties.
that is what happening on that one.

The longest shift I worked was almost 38 hours. I started very early one day, had to work all through the night to finish an important project, on the morning we had to take a 1hr flight on which I could sleep for maybe 20 minutes to the client and present the project in the afternoon. I was so dead the next two days. Its horrible if the sleeping Rhythmus is so messed with.

I've only worked a 12 hours shift from 7 to 7.. At times, the stress depends on how hard the job is not the duration of work or amount of time used at work.
Because the 9 hours job I did Was harder and stressful than the 12 hours job.

I have worked continously 3 days and around about 72 hours. I have worked day and night without any break to complete my task and for satisfying my client. For me customer satisfaction is more improtant, that's why i did hardwork on that task.

This wasn't work, but I covered an internship shift at my college for 27 hours straight. It was a nightmare, to say the very least.

I worked a 14 hour shift 8am-10pm
Last year, I worked straight 17.5hours from 7AM to 12:30Mid. The sad part is I have to go home in the middle of the night without having the assurance of my safety and my house is far away from my office then on the next day I have to go to work early again. That time, I think I only sleep for 1 hour.
Are you obliged to do such?or you have only do that because of overtime pay>if does then it is your problem and not the company, because for me?once i work that straight?for sure i will not going to work the next day or if i will work at least later that next day because my body needs to rest because if i got sick the company is shit to help me out of expenses .

Well, currently I am working from home with my first shift starting at 1am-9am with overlap at 7am-11am, then another shift from 2pm-6pm which makes it a 14 hour shift.
