So for I sold maximum bitcoin is about 1.4BTC at one time. I usually keep some coins for long-term appreciation and that time received some of my investments profit at one time. So  wanted convert some of my coins to real money because USD to my local currency conversion rate was also high. Over all during that conversion I made very decent profit. Aotherwise usually my transactions are from 0.1 to 0.5BTC range.

I never sold more than 0.5 at once. Actually sold this much on an exchange. And will not hold Bitcoin for a long. Because, I've more needs than I have/hold!

The most Bitcoin I ever sold at one time was 17. This was back when the price was around $100 for the first time. I used the money to buy myself a new gaming laptop.

I'd sold 2 bitcoins at once at a price of 380$ and withdrew successfully to my bank without any problems. though i would avoid withdrawing large amounts..
that's good amount,i'm sure your country have good bank service, for me witdrawing that amount is too risky,i'm not gonna do that, just witdrawing 0.1BTC higher for safe.

Sadly, only 20$. Occasionally, some of my friends buy bitcoin from me with fiat, and I give them a 5% discount. It's being going on for several weeks, so I have sold around 100$ of bitcoin to fiat.

and successfully converted it to USD?

I'm afraid to convert too many at one time since I was reading some reddit post about how their bank closed their account after they received so much money. I think guy sold around 50 BTC at one time, which isn't even that much.
I also do not convert too many bitcoins at one time. The most I did at one time was 5. I always save some just in case the price gets any higher. If you sell everything at once and the price gets higher after that you will regret it.

i once sold 0.5BTC to a forum member. too bad he turned out to be a scammer, gave me a negative trust. and now i am forced to start anew. Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else from this community

Well, you can actually ask theymos to remove the negative trust if you have the evidence.

i have always sold very small amounts of bitcoin. mostly less than 0.5BTC and that is not because of bank limits or anything like that because in my country they don't care so far about these things.

i keep the sale to a minimum each time because i can not find a trusted person to sell my coins to so i have to take risks and keep it to a minimum. (i sell P2P BTW)
