biggest problem is convert to my currency, I'm pretty hard to change, because there is no exchanger that converts into my currency
You can always get bitcoin debit card then withdraw the fund from your local atm Wink
It should fix your problem with bitcoin or find local exchanger from localbitcoins

My problem with bitcoin is its confirmation time. I dont like waiting for a bit long  just to fully receive my bitcoins.

Would be great if I can receive and send bitcoins instanly without any confirmation Grin
Try to put a bigger fee on your transcations, they would get confirmed faster Wink
even you put bigger tx fee in your transaction, it wouldn't have any different compared to average fees ( 0.0001-0.0002) , this is just in my opinion, but i have been using bitcoin for around 2 years and that was i feel

Confirmation time. People are saying it's more secure but it would also increase the transaction per second limit without having to change the block size. But I guess it's as complicated as changing the block size, if not more Grin .
Yes this is my biggest problem with bitcoin/blockchain issues as of late.
It is caused by the miner's transaction fees being too small I know. But can it not be eliminated all together?
What is the minimum 0.0001btc? That is essentially 4 cents if not less now. This can be done away with right?
The minimum is 0, as long as you qualify by having your outputs being higher than 0.01, high coin age, size below 1kb. Confirmation times IMO shouldn't be changed, that would only make merchants require more confirmations as they are less safe.
The biggest problem for me is the transaction times. It takes quite a long time to send and receive money. On one occasion, it took 10 hours before the transaction went through.
So far I've paid for anything with bitcoin, sometimes it takes quite a long time and sometime the transaction was instantaneous. But i still love it coz bitcoin have small fee and it better than International money transfer, it takes much longer.
Transactions propagates instantaneously with almost no delay since most internet are quite fast now and the transaction size is very small.

IMO, you should use the average fee on the network to minimize delay on cointape.com. Even if it isn't accurate, it does give a rough representation of the fees you should pay.

First the safety of the BTC so you can't get scam.

Second the mining part it take so much electricity. :/

Third well I think everyone agrees that BTC goes down and up is scary when it goes down.

all related to money there must be a fraud and scam, not with the exception of bitcoin

What you have never heard of scam in bitcoin?

I allways have to laugh about electricity, what you think your bank, and for that matter ANY datacentre uses, MUCH MUCH more than the blockchain, while the blockchain has the potential to register and log ANYTHING digital.... think about that Wink

Also if we had started with clean power, like 100 years ago when it was invented, we all would be fossil free by the mid 50's, but hey, capitalism, we all know how that went, 600 billion per year on war, while 300 million a year is enough to end world hunger...

It's the system that makes you think this, yet the system is prooven fraud and wrong, we could have been so much more as mankind, yet we all choose servitude, every day, again and again, believe it or not, you are NOT free, you are a slave, and untill you see that, things will never change, because guess what, our slaveowners will incorporate the blockchain, and the sheeple will follow once again....

The techies and ego's, people need to understand that if you want mass adoption, tech or flashy code isnt going to help, free money and ease to use is the only thing that counts to let non interested people see that it is the future, the tons and even millions of bitcoin in cold storage need to be distributed among interested people, but how in the hell, that is still the question, which a techie or ego will NEVER fix...

you can see it clearly what is the biggest problem with bitcoin, its unstability, can be easily manipulated, 450-360 in not time after a devastating pump in 3 days

people can trust this kind of thing, then you wonder why average joe aren't in yet...
what these problems will persist in the future? whether price bitcoin is stable in future?

pretty much exchange it into my currency. I never tried it, though, since im still relatively new and still collecting btc.. But the only local exchanger I know needs a photo verification to complete my account, and I don't really like the idea of posting my photos
You live in Indonesian right?
for your information, you can convert your bitcoin to the fiat easiest without verification by sell them to the personal exchanger they called "jasa tukar bitcoin" or something, you can find them, the trusted member on facebook group or you can use avanpay or  pulsabtc so far they are legit, just google it or the simple way is make your own thread on our local subforum

Hey thanks!
It'll be one of the option I will think of besides exchanging it  via voucher like how people of my country suggest.

are you sure? via voucher? if iam not wrong you should upload your identity on vip before generate a voucher right? i prefer to suggest you to sell your bitcoin from your wallet on blockchain directly , i always did it, just less than IDR10k as fee which is smaller than vip's fee

My biggest trouble - I have lost approximately 0.2 BTC in change addresses. I was maked a backup as soon as run the core, then after some transactions I restored backup and found that the change addresses do not belong to my wallet =//
This is more of a problem that can be solved by BIP32 implementation in Core wallet. Most other SPV clients has already implemented their own hierarchical deterministic wallets and could easily solve that problem by just remembering the seed.

For now, just make a backup every 100 transactions or less.

I have to agree Amph with you on this one. I can't believe that we have went all the way to $350. For God's sake we were at $500 just a day ago. That is too much of the swing and to much of the volatility and I can see why average Joe would be afraid of all this. Bitcoin needs to grow and to become more stable asap.

The safety of Bitcoin itself is in your own hands Wink
Use offline Bitcoin to ensure the safety of your Coins and never share your private keys openly in the internet Sad

Well for the mining, it is take tons of electricity , yes
But it's actually profitable especially in china where electricity is really cheap Roll Eyes
If you have a cheap/free electricity i suggest to make your own mining farm Wink

The up and down of the price of bitcoin is normal, it's part of the cycle, no need to worry about that Smiley

what is your currency btw? IDR isn't it?
as far as i know that you from Indonesia even you have your own service on our local sub forum, the service is helping people to convert their bitcoin to the fiat with the smallest fee than vip.bitcoin,co,id
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.12768355
as we know that in indonesian you can convert bitcoin to IDR easiest through the biggest exchanger
bitcoin,co,id or personal exchanger like avanpay, pulsabtc etc

if iam wrong, iam quite sure this acc has sold to you by someone from ID
please correct me if iam wrong
so if you live in other country, why not to try localbitcoins
