Only a select few will prevent the token's value from plummeting when listed on exchanges. Currently, some projects have a mechanism that only pays 50% of tokens to airdrop winners, the remaining 50% they will lock and pay after 1-2 months, I think it is reasonable. A lot of people participate, but the number of people selected is very small, please pray and need a little luck

Yes, it's true what you said. but for now being a participant to take part in the airdrop prize is of course a bit difficult when compared to previous years, now being a participant in the airdrop prize must compete to be the fastest, a little late we register so we don't receive any prizes from them. then another reason is that currently airdrop prizes are less convincing, sometimes after we get them we have to keep them in our wallets because there is no place for exchange that we can do.
It is true everyone can't get the token as it will increase the supply and make the value dump and also bounty is for everyone but Airdrop may be for all OR random users it's not guaranteed well i only won 6-7 time till now and the best drop i find is momo key
First time I joined on CMC airdrop have chance more than 70% to win and available to get coin but now many cheater and bot registration there so less chance under 10% you will available in participant list winner. Just win few airdrop CMC only and now I left without participating again because waste time and we not get coin, just happening when new cmc airdrop have reward for 2k participant and form registration member more than 20k participant.
Where are the old days gone when the reward pool was distributed amongst all the participants and not just 10% of the registered members. These rules are making more and more people to leave the airdrop hunting gig and look for other opportunities. But those airdrops are atleast genuine as many airdrops which were done in the past didn't even got listed on the market and are still present in the wallets of the hunters.Nice reminder Lumeire, old days are long gone I guess! Well, CMC is famous, probably there are many registrations and it's like pure luck to get anything there! It's for people who have a lot of free time, in that case it's ok to try your luck and maybe win something...

Of cause, you know that the chances are slim as there are a lot of participants and I also believe that some might include the number of referrals you get and if you joined early. That is mostly like Try your luck with the number of people joining those types of Airdrops. only a few projects this day considers everyone that participated in airdrops like Bitbook. 
I participate in more than 20 airdrop of CoinmarketCap but still I didn't selected in any of these airdrop how bad luck luck is mine. I am shocked how pretty will be those people who will select for CoinmarketCap airdrop because CoinmarketCap airdrop real and awesome project which is listed or going to new listing on CoinmarketCap.

I suggest leaving the airdrops from coinmarketcap, it's just a waste of time, we can't rely too much on luck with very small odds, they only pay 1000 people while participants are more than 100k, its worth also only around $10, better follow the bounties in this forum , although currently the pay is small but in my opinion it is more certain than the airdrops on coinmarketcap.

Coinmarketcap is such a popular page, that participating in their airdrops is many times worthless imo, than in any other airdrops. Projects budgets are not infinite. While in any other airdrops participate thousands or tens thousands or contenders, in airdrops from cmc participate hundred thousands. Just look how many people are in their Diamond collection game and how advertised this is or was. All these people participate in airdrops as well. Hard to get among those who will get at least something.
While those airdrops are free to participate to, they cost time, and with that time you could do bounties or just work for money that you invest into cryptos. Wishing somekind of stroke of luck won't get you anywhere. Only work works if you want to earn something.
But the risk here we do not get from any mining body if we spend money with airdrops and then deceived by it we can only regret. I think the other most annoying thing about the airdrop is that if it's distributed based on that winner I think it gives fake hope to the participation of the loser.
I used to have really good luck with airdrops a couple years ago.. Now I've found that most are scams. You spend time (which is basically money) and then never get your tokens in the end. I've started doing more selfdrops personally because you don't have to do anything for them and you get them instantly. The downside is you pay the gas fee's which are usually $0.25 or so. Still, it's a low cost for me and worth it to actually get your tokens and not have to share crap and wait months for them.

Not all airdrop prizes can benefit the participants. In my opinion, the level of luck obtained through airdrops is only a little, especially now people are competing to register airdrop prizes. Whoever is faster is the one who is accepted. from there it shows that participants who register late will not get a share from the airdrop. that's why I think the airdrop profit rate is very thin.
Sometimes I'm already pessimistic about filling out airdrops again and again, learning from the many that I've participated in, only a few actually give prizes and almost none of those prizes sell on the market.

If there are 1000 people selected from 300k, it means you are not alone. There are 298999 people other than you include bot or anything else which not get the reward. If me i know i never luck so i prefer to join airdrop which have limit in participants but everyone who join is get, it means who not get is who late to join before limit reached and we no hope much or testing our luck in it. CMC airdrops are paying but the problem is they don't announce how many participants they will be needing so there are so many participants want to join
they show how many users will receive airdrop but chances are quite small. I took part in several airdrop events but didn't win anything so now stopped taking part in them.
It takes a high degree of luck to be selected among thousands of participants in the airdrop. We can't all be lucky and that explains why you've not been selected for a while. You can keep trying as most of the people that get selected have also tried for several times.

We can call this a lottery airdrop or some sort, an airdrop is given free back in the old days you just need to post your wallet address or pm the admin and you'll get your airdrop without doing anything or hoping that you will receive, but now you have to perform tasks like a social media bounty campaign one example is the gleam platform where developers is using this platform to launch their so-called airdrop.
