I just find out that it's not easy to win going coinomi airdrops, I've participated in 10 different airdrops and never get paid at all so when I rechecked I always see like only 1000 people selected out of 300k or more, why airdrop in the first place when only few people will be selected ?
Now, airdrop is becoming a lottery? Lol, I haven't joined any airdrops since 2018 to be honest, so I don't know the landscape of it.

And it's pretty obvious that the airdrops you choose is somewhat reputable, - Coinomi and that's why it is limited to 1000 people alone. And as I have said, it's lottery so you need to get a lot of luck just to be able to get your name pick up. In any case, I'm sure majority of us here is done with airdrops anyways, not gonna waste my time on that. So I wish you good luck joining airdrops.
2017 is the airdrop season, I guess. From 2018 until the present, they are all useless. have no market value, and are just a waste of time.
Might say that some got lucky to have a good airdrop, it is something just around 1/1000, I don't have the exact figure but that gonna be close to that and seemingly it discourage people to join if that is only the percentage we got unless if we are garbage collector (well, I don't think that OP has kind of mindest).
But to what it said by OP, that is weird, I mean, it is not a lottery, they are just making worthless coins and giving them away.

I try to follow most of Cmc airdrop but Due to most of time i got nothing & got disappointed even after done the task perfectly. i usually avoid airdrops. Besides it needs more transfer fee to covert into usdt than its worth. But i try to join good cmc airdrop but so rarely. As far i remember, i was selected for cmc airdrop in 2017. After that i got airdrops but not from CMC! Maybe participants increase a lot by number
You shouldnt expect that much that you could make money and take something whenever you do join up something because you arent the only ones who do tend to join and there are hundreds or even thousands.

Luck rate will not really be that be able to be calculated since we are really that different in terms on what we are dealing with so it wont really be that precise.

Deal with airdrops if you do have that extra time but dont anticipate or expect that much.

An "airdrop" refers to a method of distributing cryptocurrency to the public, via the fact that they own certain other tokens or wallets on a particular blockchain. This is usually done for marketing purposes to incentivize the holding of other tokens or induce them to become a participant in the blockchain network.

Airdrops are no longer worth the effort put into it, I have since removed myself from Airdrops participation because it is just time-wasting,  but unfortunately, many newbies still pursue airdrops and as a result, there will be high numbers of participants and fewer tokens to go round, if you are lucky to have $5 worth of airdrops otherwise it is mostly cents,
Well if you want to have some succes with cmc airdrops, you study the project and answer the quiz correctly.

CMC airdrops are not all based on luck but some are calculated based on the quiz provided. I followed all the CMC Airdrops provided by Binance. But nothing ever goes into my wallet. Today everyone rejoiced that they got a SAND airdrop gift from CMC. I don't understand even though I follow it.

That’s just how it is, airdrops hardly pays most of the people that participates in it. I would say that my locked rate is around 5% ‘cause I have participated in many airdrops and just only one has ever paid me.  Moreover, I have stopped participating in airdrops like constantly as I used to do when I was still a newbie in the community.

This time around I’ve decided to look for other things to do than airdrops because if you are relying on airdrops you are going to be wasting your time. Airdrops are kind of for fun and you shouldn’t put all your hope in it, because you are mostly going to be disappointed at the end, since they are not going to be selecting all the participants to be paid. So, what you are going through now is a normal thing that most people go through when they participate in airdrops, is just a thing of luck.

to be honest I was never lucky when I sit on the coinmarketcap airdrop ,I've done tasks with follow accounts and others, and I didn't get anything at the end it broke my hopes ! Airdrop on coinmarketcap are randomly selected and there are tasks to complete and not all hunters get that coin or token ,it's like looking for gold in a pile of brass ! so hard

Talking about CMC Airdrops, I think the people who already invested in the project stand a high chance of winning and maybe with a bit luck. Basically because I've Participated in over 20 CMC Airdrops and the only one I ever won is Ariva . So I believe I got selected because I invested and had it in the same wallet I used in participating for the airdrop.
Your luck is a common coincidence with the fact that at the time of the airdrop you had an Arriva coin in your wallet. The winners in this airdrop are chosen randomly from the total number of participants who took part in it. And accordingly, the more participants took part in it, the lower the chance of getting a coin.
So there is no need to store certain coins in the wallet to participate in the CMC airdrop and indeed this is just a random choice chosen by the team, so storing the tokens is not a must in the airdrop on Coinmarketcap.
What I know is that slots always run out of airdrops on Coinmarketcap, yes, the chances are even smaller that you can get it, so even if you win it's only a few cents depending on the value of the token in the market.

So far I have not been lucky enough to win in the CMC airdrop.

Of the 300k participating one person may just hold 100 accounts using bots set up to register early quickly. One of the hundreds of accounts they signed up for there are definitely some that will get rewarded. It's actually cheating because it's multi-accounts. But it was the effort they put in to win the random.
The final implication of what you are saying about the CMC airdrop is that the fraud rate is very high, one person can own multiple accounts and sign up for the airdrop will increase the chances of getting rewards and in CMC is a pretty big place in terms of airdrop paying reputation, the cheaters won't be a few people, it could be a few hundred and a few thousand people with a huge number of accounts in hand. As a fair and competitive player with these guys, I bet our odds of luck are slim, don't try to convince ourselves we're unlucky on the airdrop, it only frustrates us more with each announcement of the results

I'd rather hunt for airdrops through third party companies than using coinmarketcap cos the chances of getting paid is extremely low, no don't use coinmarketcap use websites like airdrops.io airdropking and others not coinmarketcap

I don't know how they select the airdrop winner of CoinmarketCap. But I am too unlucky because I participate in his airdrop more than 10 time but I am not selected even one time. So I disappoint from airdrop and that the reason I leave them. But I congrats to all Cmc airdrop winner because they are very lucky
When it comes to this then it is really somewhat needing some sort of luck when you do deal with airdrops even though it isn't assured if its legit or not because CMC doesn't really care that much.

If you do have the ample time on dealing with things then its up to you if you would continue to deal with those airdrops or not because in overall
it doesn't really need much of an effort.

Just try and who knows that you would able to hit it up on next turn.

In the last week but first time i have been participated in CMC Airdrop "Wojak Finance" but they will distribute 22k$ for 2K people’s i think it’s pretty lower rewards. I just participated if my luck will favour than win 2k$ for the top winner. I don’t know regarding CMC procedure how they will select even though legitimacy.

I only took part in the Airdrop on Coinmarketcap, but at that time I was not lucky, there were many participants and they always got airdrops from cmc, that's why I chose not to take part in the cmc airdrop and chose to follow the airdrop on the twitter channel, there are many airdrops that are proven to pay for example, shibalana, Scum, Woff and many more, on average all are on the solana network

Don't expect too much for something like this. There is an airdrop that gives a payment. But more of them just contain scams. I once followed, among ten only three to four who give pay. I'm not really hopeful because it's free, so it doesn't matter when it's just a scam. Many say luck only and that's the fact.
