Based on my personal experience, I cannot complain about CMC, the projects that they have predicted and come out resistant are very good, although they are not things that will really make you millionaires I think it is a good option that many do not know, about 5 months I did an Airdrop, and they paid it, the bad thing is that the token is worth nothing, and I really had a long time not to have used this functionality of the Airdrops since 2018-2019 which were the years when it was in full swing, I think that all the money is going through NFTs. For now and by 2022 I think the best business is NFTs as long as the economy is sustainable.

I did not join Coinomi Airdrop yet but joined only Coinmarketcap Airdrop. Its very tough to get airdrop because large number of applier and they randomly choose. My win rate is almost 7%.
I remembered ,First Coinmarketcap Airdrop was Guaranteed and was very few participants. Now number of applierbis very large and Airdrop is limited to 1k .

CMC doesn't implement a system like 1 account/ip. That's why cmc airdrops are very easy to cheat, and many cheaters get a lot of rewards.
I am not sure how they implement the system and whether they are strict in following the one IP policy, but we can see a lot of users participating in everything they conduct. I have not won anything till now, may be because i did not participate in many drops but last month i enrolled in some of the drops and i doubt i won anything, i am yet to check my wallet but i doubt i won anything.
To be honest, im try participated in everyone of airdrops and CMC Earn Company, and im only win one time, its was FIO drop as im sure, and im got 17tokens, after im trade it to 34$ in Binance coin, for the first its good im think, but im so unlucky to get anymore drops, but im hope ill get more drops in future, never give up

Is this another coined term to just say that it is a KYC verification wherein you put in your email address. name, and sometimes even the country you reside?I gave up on airdrops long time ago and regardless of how reputated the platform is/was, I would never give out my email address no more.
Participating on airdrop is not always a guarantee for earning or sharing in the tokens to be distributed. While some projects strives to distribute the tokens to all the qualified participants, other projects make some selections on the participants to enjoy from the distribution.

I got 0 luck with it. Ive been entering even with their learn to earn program but still no luck as it has limits too which isn't showed at the beginning of tasks given. I think its just because Hundreds of thousands enter the airdrop and only a limited of 2K mostly participants get the prizes. Better join bounties these days even if it pays low sadly. 
Honestly it is not something that I would base my income on, it is a very small amount and rarely ever pays enough to matter. Which is why there is really no reason to follow it up neither. If you are from a third world nation and have anything under 300 dollars in salary then you should maybe check CMC and all the other places (coinbase has it too) on "earn" pages and you could make as much as 100 bucks in 5 different places working only like 10 hours a week. That may not become a side income that you want to spend, save that aside in bitcoin or ethereum if you would like to, because if you cash them out then you are going to lose a lot to fee.

CMC is the most popular platform for live coin prices since the beginning, it has really high amount of daily visitors and when it promotes aidrops, it will get huge traction, so in my opinion its a waste of time applying to those limited airdrops because the chance of getting it is tiny.

That's true. Nowadays airdrops are Become so worthless and valuable airdrops are hard to received among huge participants. Even the amount was also low which was unexpected at the end of the day. In 2017, i received airdrops with high reward but nowadays the system is change and they just giving us very little amount of reward for their marketing propose only. It's just a mistake on the part of the team who didn't make security with such a model, so what cheaters get is the result and it's very satisfying because they also take advantage of moments and conditions like that.

Expect that most airdrops today won't reach your desired rewards. About your question, you should find the answer if you read the airdrop terms. There's always a limit when participating in airdrops regardless of whether you do the task or not. It depends on the project on how many they will accommodate.
But to tell you generally, the glory days of airdrop are now gone.

to be honest I was never lucky when I sit on the coinmarketcap airdrop ,I've done tasks with follow accounts and others, and I didn't get anything at the end it broke my hopes ! Airdrop on coinmarketcap are randomly selected and there are tasks to complete and not all hunters get that coin or token ,it's like looking for gold in a pile of brass ! so hard
At least I tried. Not only in CMC, expect the airdrop is a small process. Of the many airdrops few of them are real give gifts and even that is small. It's only natural that it's free and has a lot of participants. If you get the possibility of it being lucky, then don't expect big from the airdrop. Of the 300k participating one person may just hold 100 accounts using bots set up to register early quickly. One of the hundreds of accounts they signed up for there are definitely some that will get rewarded. It's actually cheating because it's multi-accounts. But it was the effort they put in to win the random.

If they don't limit the number of winners from the total participation, of course those who participate will not get anything. For example, the prize for the airdrop is $300k, the number of coinomi wallet users is 1 million, then $300k/1 million = $0.3. So they have to choose which participants are eligible with a limit of 1000 people from the total participation.

Actually i Don't know About airdrop. How these are done and how the winners are selected. Because I never did that. Since according to your post, only 1000 winners out of 300k participants are made in the airdrops. So it takes a lot of luck to be the winner there.

Man, quit it - there too many people who wants to win there and too little allocation. You should find projects without such popularity and take part in their airdrops and bounties.
Im sure that this airdrop was meant for fun even from CMC themselves they never initially intend to take this airdrop seriously that’s why sometime the supply for the airdrop just too small and only selected few deserves to win however speaking about marketing strategy this has successfully make some coins known to the masses and boost popularity. I think it’s just another way of advertising made by CMC for all these coins that wants or atleast have cooperation with CMC.
That’s why for anyone who trying to follow the airdrops they should never expect to get anything out of it let alone being rich from getting the airdrops. There are simply too many demand while the airdrops that are available even not gonna cover 10% of the demands. There's another thing just like it was based on so many criterias or it was also following lottery system. People that already followed all of steps that already mentioned by CMC will be eligible to get the reward. This reward will be random. The more people who have been participated in the campaign means less chance for you to join or even get reward from participated in the CMC airdrop.
You can participate in the airdrop that created or launched by bounty portal or airdrop detective. This is much better than airdrop that launched by CMC.
