As we notice that almost all the altcoins follow the price of bitcoin . I'm just wondering when they will become independent and don't follow the bitcoin price?

Not all coin is following this trend. For example, ripple has pump that almost hit its all time high which left behind other coins. This is one of the example of some coins not following bitcoins path.

Dude, when ripple pumps, BTC pump as well

have you noticed?

and now BTC is dumping, and so with ripple

Agreed that not all Alts are following BTC paths, there are alts that would go pump hard especially the new ones

however the most common observation for all of these is that when BTC continues to go down, they will always follow later on

When we use another cryptocurrency as the main measure unit to calculate the value of cryptocurrencies, altcoin would stop following the price of bitcoin. The price of altcoin is following the price of bitcoin because of the psychology of human, we are thinking that bitcoin is the core of cryptocurrency. If we can delete this thinking, the price of altcoin will stop following bitcoin.

The answer is very obvious. Altcoin will only be independent when they can be converted directly into money. That only reason they are dependent on bitcoin, if they have their own fiat value, they can be independent. You can go technical on this but and the end of it still need to have its own value for it not to be dependent on bitcoin or other alts that can be converted directly to fiat.

Yes, it would be a wonderful day when alt coins finally decouple from Bitcoin. For that to ever happen a suitable alternative pairing (like xrp) or widespread fiat on-ramps will be necessary.

The only time this will stop is if there is no more altcoin-bitcoin pairs on exchange, but inasmuch as this continues, then the price will continue to be patterned after bitcoin.

Altcoins price do not follow Bitcoin, Both Bitcoin and Altcoins have their own price that do not depend on each others.
How do you think so? As I know the price of Bitcoin depends on market demand and supply and Altcoins is also influenced by demand and supply itself.

It's a mistake, Altcoin price not follow bitcoin price. Sometimes bitcoin price up but altcoin down, Also sometimes bitcoin price down but altcoin up. Yes we know sometimes altcoin price follow bitcoin price but not entirely true. Altcoin also influenced by demand and supplay, also news, community and etc.

when the altcoin does not use payment or exchange using Bitcoin, then I am sure the price of the altcoin will not be affected by the price of Bitcoin.
That's is very impossible, because bitcoin is mother of altcoin, King of coin

They will always follow the price of bitcoin.

Most of the markets are dependent to bitcoin because you need bitcoin to buy and sell them. I doubt it that an altcoin will have its freedom and can finally have its own independent market.
They are using bitcoin as the main pair to their tokens. that means any altcoin will always follow bitcoin except the stable coin that backed by dollar just like tether. All exchange sites are trading bitcoin and it can't be avoided. Even the major coin just like ether can't leave from the bitcoin domination. Crypto has started from bitcoin and it's the history of crypto.
There are DEX's that don't have bitcoin pairs as they are mainly focused with Ethereum - ERC20  tokens.

And with this thing, it only says that bitcoin is the king of all crypto's and has widen its territory through having its main pair to all of the tokens. If one wishes to see altcoin stops following bitcoin's price then they can go to a decentralized exchange like idex.

I think that's impossible since bitcoin is the mother of all altcoins, it sets benchmark in the current anf future pricing of all other alts. Though there was a time when ethereum appreciate during bitcoin fallback but then again never in the history that it was price more than the value of bitcoin. I guess no other alts can take over the market rank of bitcoin.

all exchanges use BTC as main currency, even ETH doesnt have that much markets in this markets or USDT (ot TUSD) if this logic changes, altcoins can be independent otherwise there willbe some movement independent from BTC but it wont mean they gained their independency

To make such a phenomenon happen, bitcoin should weaken, but now Its price and market capitalization is much higher than the line at which the influence of Bitcoin will become apparent.
Both coin are depended on bitcoin prices , the blockchain technology developed just to promote bitcoin as an exchange in payment in worldwide and we can't determine when it stop but it's matter of choice because they all know bitcoin has a good potential and it changes in faster transactions.

Well this is more likely linked to the general volume in market and also the dominancy of btc in the time of reference, if dominancy suddenly jumps up for btc then we can expect btc price to grow while altcoins can suffer in such situation.

There are instances when some of altcoins in the market doesn't really follow bitcoins price at all but most of the time we are really seeing that price of alts will always go with the same flow with BTC which it isn't really surprising considering that dominance of btc itself will really tell us on how he would dictate the market when it comes on what trend it was heading.Talking about stopping to follow then this thing wont really be that easy yet alts will need to have a sufficient dominance that can able to stand on his own.

Some of them are already on the way to become independent, f.e. Ripple. Now you can buy more cryptocurrencies for FIAT, so they will soon not depend so much on bitcoin price.

I know some projects which don't follow bitcoin price at all. For example Home Loans. There is only product is the main price regulator. Only real product can rise coin value.

My answer would be "NEVER".
Reason being, BTC is the main trading pair for ALTCoins. Until and unless FIAT or ETH or any other trading pair becomes stronger for an altcoin, Altcoin will keep following Bitcoin prices.
You will mostly be converting your alts into bitcoin satoshis, and there price are pegged to FIAT which makes ALTs price pegged to FIAT eventually.
in any case, today there are quite a lot of different approaches to implementing the pricing of a particular project.Despite the fact that one coin is tied to the Bitcoin rate, and the other is a feat, their level of pricing is all the same, based on the current state of the crypto-currency market.
I think that today the bad condition of the market is not in vain, because the value of the crypto currency is being corrected and I hope that in the near future we will be able to see the internal situation of those people who have a future prospect.
