In order for the excitement to be on the market again, strong news is needed that will confirm the rapid development of the industry. An example would be an ETF which I think will have more power than 2017 futures
Imagine what will happen after the launch of the new BAKKT platform, which will attract new institutional investors and announce cryptocurrency like a new investment asset. The launch of the platform is scheduled for December 12, I expect tremendous growth and popularization of the crypto market.
To me I hope that very soon we are going to see the 2017 era again, In fact this time we are not going to depend on any even or something specially to happen but I am hopeful that this time the investors will give support to bitcoin which will surely increase bitcoin price and hopefully bitcoin price will reach back to 20k. 
We are waiting for the year 2019, which will tell us how good this technology is and whether it is ready to deal with problems in order to win the hearts of investors and become a national currency. Although I hardly believe in it, there are too many bad factors that are slowly killing her for now.

I think if we want to see a bounty like last 2017 for now it is very difficult because the price of Bitcoin affects everything, so we have to be patient more for this 2018 period, and when bitcoin increases again when does that happen I think bounty will be good again like last year.
I believe it will happen when Bitcoin ETF is approved . Till then it will be for sure small rise in the marketcap but not that much since people are scared and everybody are waiting for institutional investors to jump in
A 2017'ish year may occur two to three years from now as you will see from history. It is some kind of pattern or trend probably that we can use as a guide. Now many are anticipating a 2017-like phenomenon for 2018, I doubt this will happen. Though the bulls may still run by or towards end of this year, but they won't be aggressive as last year. But still, if we play our cards right we will still earn this year.
There will be certain time where we can see the bullrun market a what happen in the end of last year. That was a very grateful and amazing crypto market where it led many people to enter in the crypto. However now, it seems we still need more times. It maybe in the next year to be bull run again. Just be patient and never put the big hope.

It cannot be easily tell because the market itself is unpredictable. Indeed 2017 is nostalgic especially for the investors wherein they have earned huge profit last year because of the sudden increase at the end of that year. It is also where people this year got their expectation that same thing would happen but things didn't go as expected. - 2018 does not really support the boom for most ICOs, unlike what we had in 2017.

How well do we expect the market to be when the funds that has been invested in most ICO's Will always find their way to a Fiat based banks, cooling off.
Most of the ICO's are our problems. If 70% of the funds invested in ICO's can be made to remain in circulation within the cryptosphere, the market will no doubt start doing well rather; we are witnessing a situation where most coins / tokens are rarely cash backed.
So sad.

I am sure that the growth will begin, now many large and small countries make the turnover of cryptocurrency legal. Therefore, everything is just beginning and the beginning of 2019 will be a steady growth.
I hope it will happen in 2019. If the money of institutional investors will comw to crypto the cap will tremendosly increase.

Any business or financial system will have a good time and a recession.Our market will return like 2017 but it will go up probably in 2019. because Bitcoin is not really high and makes investors feel secure.
I think that we will see small growth in december after accepting the Bakkt. But it would be very short and then btc will ome back to 8000$. And only in the middle of 2019 we will see the next bullrun.
I think we will see a small bull run around December, Bitcoin will go to $12k and then drop to $8k, and we will see this pattern for the next couple of years (2-4) and at the 4 years we will see a boom like never before.
