I think no one knows when to buy and when to sell altcoins. In most cases, these are just good deals, after which everyone thinks they are cool investors. But the market will always win.
The rule that I often apply in my trades is to sell them immediately when the altcoin made a significant rise in the span of 24 hours. Let's say that this day it's stable but then tommorow it's increase more 70% or more than that then that is the time I know that it's time to sell.

for each person there is a time when you need to sell a coin. If you have already earned money on a coin, then, of course, you can already sell. I think that you have very much sank the deposit during this time but you should not be upset. if you are a long-term investor then there is nothing more important in what is happening, you will still be in profit.

Selling your altcoins it's really up to you, no one can force you on what you're doing, you just think if it is profit already then sell it or according to your needs if you don't have money then sell it, for me i've waiting for the bull run to sell my holdings.

It depends on whether you are a trader or a holder. If you are a trader, if you have a profit of 5-10% then you should sell all and search for other altcoin to invest in. If you are a holder, it is best to wait 50-100% of profits or more

When best time to sell the altcoins is depends in your situation, but for me the best time to sell the altcoin is after few weeks listing in exchange, the first week must be dump from bounty hunter and then several weeks after the dump there must be a pump period. Don't be greedy in this time because you don't know when the pump is end. Target your profit from you investment, 25% or 50% is all yours to choose. And when the time is come don't hesitate to sell it immediately
