If you have a high tendency to not stop until busting, then I came across these tips which do help:

  • Don't put all your available bankroll directly in the game (in case you're using deposits). Leave always at least half outside as a security measure if you go bust.
  • One must stop after reaching a certain goal, The goal should be predetermined and shouldn't be changed during the play.
  • If you're doing really good, withdraw part of your earnings (if you can, ofc) to avoid losing it all in one go.

Having a big bankroll can make you feel falsely safe in that "oh I'll just keep increasing my bet until I win" but alas, the 30 reds in a row do exist, and will come. Do not let them take it all.

The goal you make should be realistic and firm, Don't change it or else be prepared to face bad consequences.

You gotta fight back the voice that screams inside your brain "Come on, double again and we recover!".
since im not really a gambler,i know when to stop if my capital had been loss,so i know its time to leave the table.because i play somtimes just to enjoy and ofcourse might trying my luck to win,no body in gambling that dont want to win whe they play right

For others, the only time they can stop gambling is by the time that they don't have money or they have been kicked out of the casino. For me, you need to set a goal before going to the casino. Make sure that you allocated a budget and set limitations. Use the money in your hands not the money not your lifetime savings. Others go broke because they bet everything on the table. Don't do that. Take risk but be wise. If you lose today, try another day or don't even go back. Easy peasy.

I don't think it is smart to keep loosing all that you have before you can come to yourself that you need to stop, its just addiction and need to find a solution to it. I most often quite after a series of 3 losses and try again later or on a different day and so with such discipline a gambler can control how he losses and the frequency.
Gambling is very attractive, because games is used for addiction together for illegal gambling. More people are addicting with the gambling because they know that earning income thru this is very easy. But the on the other side, if you are not lucky in betting there are possibility to lost all of your income.

Most of the time players/gamblers who did that are those who already addicted and engaged too much from this activity, better to set your emotions
and always stick in your plan, because even you have a good strategy but you are aggressive everything will be ruin, those pro gamblers are the one
who can control, they know that luck is not wit them each time they play so if they felt that they are seeing a lots of reds they will quit and rest for that
day and be back and try again instead of continuing to lose.

I would stop when I already reach my goal and if I already lost all of my extra money,
Whenever I am going to gamble I would set up a limit on how much I would play for the day and how much profit do I want for the day.
For me it is really a good way to control my greed in money when it comes to gambling but even if I set up my limitation there are still a time when I get too greedy and I would continue to play and after that I would just lose all of my money.
This is nice thinking when involve in gambling. Setup a limits is good for us to have control not to lose all our money. Gambling is really risks we should have to control our addiction and our greed because without this you cannot overcome when to stop in this kind of situation.

The goal you make should be realistic and firm, Don't change it or else be prepared to face bad consequences.

You gotta fight back the voice that screams inside your brain "Come on, double again and we recover!".

You know when to stop when the reason you are playing is to earn more, to get more. The point of gambling is to be entertained or to release stress or something. Gambling is supposed to be fun and entertainment and having another reason than not are purely greed and emotional and that’s whn you know its time to stop and hold down your chips and know there is something wrong

That is a good argument. When I was newbie I thought Crypto-Currency gambling could really allow us to make profit on long term (with minimum and automatic bets), so I thought it was a money making method, if you used the right strategy. Then after losing some money and thinking better about it I reached the conclusion strategies don't affect anything on long term, and all those trying to double their money in a regular basis will end losing everything.

Then it's not different from fiat gambling. The land based casinos are crowded, not with the poor guys trying to double their money, but with the average/rich guys having a moment of entertainment. And that is all, only entertainment. So what you say is very right.

Well, every gamblers has its own style and tactics of when to stop but eventually all ends with empty pocket because ever since the winning percentage of gambling is only 30% and its lucky enough if we can get that whole percentage, maybe its hard to know when is the time stop even if we put a limit but still we keep on coming back, until such time that we never had enough money for betting and that is the time we will realize that we need to stop.

In short, its all about "SELF CONTROL". No matter how you determine your goal/limit before start gambling, but if you have no self control then all the mentioned 3 points wont work. It is very easy to say, to advise or to recommend but it is hard to do when you are playing.

advising or telling someone what to do when talking about gambling specially those addicted or those intacted to this are easy because they dont even know how hard for them to just quit in an instant, imagine how we forget the things were doing everyday or being part of our daily life..

For me the right time to stop when re finally realize how much did we spent to loss and how long we dedicate our time for just nothing but simple enjoyment which turn to a nightmare, when we almost lost all of our money and sometimes our even our family..because no one can help us but our selves.

The best thing to do is put limits and stick with your decision it is hard to stop especially when you want to take back what you had lose ,you should know how to control your self don't let gambling control you because there is no good effect if you always put risk your money and it seems that is not your lucky day...also don't be greedy even you already win and it double your money ,learn to stop there are still lots if time to gamble again and it is not always a win win in gambling its either winning or losing.

In between the event one can make a stop based on the winning or losing possibilities, better than this is to set the limit prior to the event. This will let you avoid unwanted loses as well stay active into gambling on large number of events without getting into the greed of winning big in a short.

Having a fixed bankroll to spend definitely helps. You can also set a time limit for each gambling session. Whichever comes first.

Set the money you want to spend on that day, set your limit and your goals and don’t ever chase your money back if you loose it. When you don’t have proper preparation its really hard to stop yourself so you will loose money because of this, better to commit on your specific target to prevent this kind of problem.
Commit to specific target is the best one can he/she do once start gambling. And Make sure you have self control in gambling so that you know how stop playing once you win.
Some people have no control in gambling they don't know how to stop when the time they won. Be careful on gambling don't be so greedy.

As soon as you realize that you earned at least a quarter of what you were supposed to use for gambling. This is the best strategy for me, since you are not spending all your money and you are setting a stop lose for youself.

Better to collect small amount but steady rather than being greedy want to have big profit but ended up unwell, let's say having 10% out of your 0.1 instead keep playing risking your money to get 100% profit as a target , bigger risk bigger potential for you to get busted instead to win it that's the first rule in gambling.

Basically setting a limit is the proper strategy. Its somehow a basic rule not only in gambling but for financial matters as well. Setting a limit of your expenses to keep your finances going. Its time to stop when you have reached your limit. Its sometimes a struggle to do so specially when you want to win back your losses.

Most of the gamblers usually set limits before starting gambling but while gambling they can't control their emotions so end up spending more than what they fix the limits. For those kinds of gamblers who can't control their emotions while playing the best idea is never load amount more than what you can afford to lose for that day then no need to worry about the limits.
I definitely agree with you. When you already starting to enjoy gambling and you experience to win a huge amount for the most easy way. That's definitely the indication that you already in engage in this king of earning.
Then when the time comes that you experience loss, your mind will set you to get back your funds and then you will never notice that you already loss a huge amount.
Precisley that is why as soon as possible you should stay away from it. If you have already experience and you enjoy it then it will be tough for you to leave this kind of thing because this is the indication that you were addicted upon it. Gambling will let you win at your first try and when you take a long time it is end for you because you will continuously lose. Furthermore, you will try to regain those losses which is very impossible and it will make you addicted to it.
If you chase those loses then expect there would really consequences behind that which is losing money even more.If your luck doesn't reside you on those times then you are all messed up.Most gamblers do have this kind of common problem which they cant resist on playing gambling and chasing loses. They will only stop if they are already on hardship but if not then those habits will really continue even more.

Gambling is so addicting and it is easier to say than do quiting it. Even you want to stop , most of the time you cant. Every gambler setting limits before starting , the amount of what he have left and what he will have. If he reach that particular amount, he will go. But sometimes, ambiance and adrenaline can lead him go further. So the first thing you should do is to control yourself, with this, you can stop whenever you want.
