I gave up on investing in altcoins, because more than one and half years, those coins are not raising at all. I am fully in Bitcoin right now and believe that it is the best solution for now to wait for the bull market to come.
Because of the inability of ETH to perform so well on the natket, that is why majority of altcoins are also struggling to survive. How will the young ones survive when their leader himself is even struggling to do so. ETH needs to get back on track because its the motivation for the incoming coins
In the course of this year, ethereum has mostly not been promising due to the many disappointing times we have experienced. Sometimes, it even become very difficult to know when to hold or sell out some ethereum. All the same, many people who trust in altcoins have kept some great faith in ethereum and that is an amazing motivation that ethereum can really bounce back and be the strong force most hodlers wish for.
You're right, above all else, Etherium has not lost its importance for the community and continues to be a necessary, promising and sought-after cryptocurrency. Of course, the price of ETH does not look as good as the same bitcoin, but all this I'm sure will change soon. All the time, the market cannot fall or be in a flat, sooner or later the market will go up, which means that top-level lightcoins such as ETH will show their strength in the market. Ethereum always make me disappointed with price, last year I bought ETH on higher price but today I faced with lost my money because ETH under $200 and I bought first at $1000.

Ethereum is the base asset for %90 projects and it is the first one to rise when market is getting better. I think bull season will come with the increase of ETH, then others like NEO will follow. I am just waiting the right time to get in alts when ETH increases.

I have not seen gas price in single digit for long time now. Its almost default to for 15-20 GWEI these days. not sure how to interpret these with the performance of Ethereum. But strongly believe there should be some correlation.

I completely agree with you, the Ethereum devs have been extra disappointing of late, especially after all the continued promises of switching to POS every year. But the price drops can't all be blamed on the devs, the ETH price is fighting against constant selling pressure because of miners that are selling immediately as they earn ETH. Of course they have to pay for their upkeep and stay liquid!
Hopefully the ETH devs come up with something new, and fast!
I will agree with you that ethereum to some extents have disappointed the holders. The case study of when btc was at $20,000 and ethereum was at $1500 will explain a lot when you calculate the changes in their price value as at today.

Yes i also believe that ethereum can survive, as of now that the price is still low instead of thinking the bad side of it , i am looking the good side which i can buy in low price. I know someday the price of ethereum will be good like before .

I can't disagree with you that Ethereum has possibilities to be at a good price again at the end of this year. Manyborediction says Ethereum and the whole crypto market can bounce back in mid-October!
