I don't think that there is a relation on how big or small you are betting to winning the bet. It is still a game of chance, maybe the chance of you winning when you try big bets is slim because of house edge. In sports betting, I think there is no relation on how much you bet on winning too. It's just the timing of your large bet is an upset win.

I also have gone through similar situation but the reason is we start playing with small bets until we get confidence and catch speed for bigger bets we almost become satisfied with results. The moment we start bigger bets house turns to make correction in ratio between winning and loosing streaks or results whatever. This can be reason what I understood because this happens to most of the people here.

well gambling mainly is about luck and taking risks anyway so i think you just got a bit unlucky when gambling with large sum wagers. no one really can tell when you'd be lucky enough to win when placing big bets. it's just about being lucky

It's really simple that's why it's happen when you play with just small amount you play it safelydo not want to waste every single coin you have. Not like big amount your too greedy to earn more thats why you always lost when you bet high amount.

Can you back this up with solid data? I think you can't!
What happens is you play much more small bets, and win a lot of times, but quickly forget the losing bets, because it's small amounts. When you play big, your chances are still the same, but you remember the losses much longer.
Statistics aren't intuitive, and "feeling" a certain way doesn't necessarily mean it's true.
If you would have carried out a full statistical analysis, you would have posted the data, so I assume you didn't.

I agree too. People tends to remember the loss easier and have a greater mental impact on them. So they will have a tendency to feel that lose happen more. Similarly, they tend to bet big is so that they can win back their losses, which means they already have a series of losses and so they have a higher chance of winning. This is the gamble fallacy.

Well i had made 3 bets this days because the 7600$ profit thread soo small ammounts had won and the biggest just turned into a loss, looks like my bet made the other team score and eat my bet.

You just feel that because when it's a big amount, whether if it is a win or a lose, it gives a huge impact to you.
And losing happens a lot more than winning.

I dont know why I am total clueless but the same thing happens to em every f##ing time i try !
I usually bet on sports but when i bet on some team with great odds that team wins, but when i do some prior research and bet on some sure money team, thats when the shocker comes its almost like the bookies are fixing the games. Angry

i could not figure out what happening and i considers that if i was lost from gambling it mean i'm not lucky and there is no reason regarding that even though i start gambling with small amount or huge amount the results will not so different because lucky are necessary here

it is only your feeling and nothing else.
i promise you that you have the same chance of winning and number of wins both with high amounts and low.

besides if you think this way, they start making small bets forever and never make anything big. so that you always win. always winning with small amounts is a lot better than always losing with big amounts don't you agree?

If you believe that, then you should only make small bets.

He probably have started with a small amount but people always use martingale strategy to stay safe from losing any money and when they reach to a big amount with a losing streak then they don't win anything back and they lose all the bets until they are finished.

Yeah that's very obvious to happen in dice sites as they are designed like that so house wins at last any how but i don't think so in sports betting as its very legit every time, it must be your luck that's making like this for you in sports betting :p
