When you are just starting as a bounty hunter, it takes time to understand how it works, which ones are good/bad and that's the reason for getting paid a very low amount or no payment at all. But as you start to understand and get picky in selecting bounties that's when you have the chance to get paid better and not spend time on bogus campaigns.

When I was a newbie hunter, I really spent a lot of time familiarizing and learning on how to choose a good bounty campaign. It is not that easy because my first bounty campaign was a scam. But I just moved on and learned from it.

It was really a confronting challenge, although with much lessons and experience accumulated over my first two months, as a Newbie bounty hunter, after I thought I was done with off-topic discussion, I wasn't too acquainted with the procedures involved in submitting any blog content via the Google submission form, it was until it was during the allocation of stakes that I was notified that I submitted a wrong article link.

This experience was devastating but I summoned courage to relate my difficulty with a friend who helped me with how to submit the right link and after words, I'm proud that I am now prolific in submitting correct links.

These are my experience as a newbie bounty hunter.

Participation in properly selected projects can bring good earnings. Some projects in which I participated paid $ 4000- $ 7000 for participation in one program (signature, blogs) at the price of ISO. Then the price of coins fell, but this doesn't mean that participation in the bounty doesn't give anything. Just need to carefully choose projects.

I am a newbie bounty hunter but only doing signature campaign.  Already finished my first project but I have to wait after ICO to know my reward.  I don't know a month or two or maybe three or maybe they are just gone with the wind.  LOL.  Now I am on my second project, hope they are succeed.  Wish me luck.

I am not a full-time bounty hunter, but I usually choose a signature task, so that I will not waste my time, I can complete the task during the daily chat, and the bonus of the signature activity is still very good. on time. I think this is a very good thing.
if you feel that is enough for your earning  i think you could do it as side job.and not necessary to resign from main job.for some people they scared about bounty campaign future, that maybe could not give them constant earning every months.

many of the people here have the same fate as you who are working for several months because many of them do not pay, this is a risk that we have to choose as a bounty hunter but here I also suggest to be more careful in determining the project so that we do not work in vain

Me too at the beginnin I used to do as many bounties as I can manage but now I learned the importace of select a good bounty and leave shitty ones.
We have the same experience, when i was newbie here in forum, i really want to participate in so many campaigns because i believe that the more campaign, the more money you earn, but i was wrong in that kind of mindset, and i really dont know that some campaigns are not profitable because we will wait if the campaign was successful of not, or else you wasted your time and effort by doing the task. But now, i learned that you have to investigate campaigns first before entering and participating to reduce the risk and wasting time.

Sometimes  you feel like this...

“When I decided to live my dream, I thought that from now on my life would be a dark tunnel in which I walked alone. But I didn’t realize how dark it would be. And I didn’t know how lonely I would be.”

For being a bounty hunter, it's just like a long tunnel that has no end or limitation. But sometimes, it make us tired without any good income at all.

The rewards were really high last year, you could pretty much do any. Now 99% of them are worthless so you have to chose carefully.

When I was a newbie hunter, it is safe to say that I didn't exactly know what I was doing. I needed the extra funds, and wanted to do something to get theem, but I didn't fully understand how bounty worked, and so majority of the bounties I did then did pay out, cos I probably spent time or a shitty project, or didn't carry out tasks like I was supposed to.

I can't agree to disagree, You just need to find some way to to earn without investing money but investing time can really work out well. You see the crypto space isn't so perfect and you must experienced all the negative side of it to learn from it. On my experience I've only try to join any campaigns I think its best. I'm just lucky that some of campaigns I participated really do pay and has good return on my work. But also there are some scam projects I've joined and nothing I can do about it. Now Im being picky and more cautious on doing campaign since I will invest time and effort. So I'll make sure that all my efforts wouldn't be wasted. By the way, If you're looking for a signature you can look into mine. Check every details and you will not be dissapointend.

I want to share something about the reality.

Investors me not, but at some point of my life...I invest time to find a way to have some alternative coins or bitcoin as well. Investing time and effort in finding some opportunity without throwing a money, all I need to do is find a job here in bitcointalk.org  as a bounty hunter. On my first month of being a bounty hunter, I do a lot of effort to join on shitty campaign cause all I want is to have more experience and income as well. But I left off the importance of choosing the right newly crypto project. For my 5 months of having a good time reading and  investing time, effort, knowledge and idea, some of my campaign didn't work out, so the worst thing will come and all your work will be wasted cause you never find any good payment on all of that. As far as I remember, all my altcoins is equal to 0.110 btc for at least 8 projects.

Well, investing is not only money and other asset you've had. But also time, effort and knowledge as well.

Let me read yours?

0.110 for a newbie is not bad. Just be thankfuk that you earn. As you level up your rank, you wilk receive or earn a much higher amount. I see you have a bad experience in bounty. I think I am lucky enough that I did not encounter those kind of things when I was a newbie or for sure I will give up already. Like you I also choose to be a bounty hunter because all I can offer is my time and effort. I think all of it are worth it if we are in a right campaign. We really have to choose which one is good. We really have to be choosy.
Sounds like you don't need to down your guts or pride. But in the reality, there's a lot of bounty hunter around on this website. You are lucky and skilled enough if you find a good deal. Bias system is normal specially if the bounty manager has a group of bounty hunters wanna be. Did you experience that?

Just the quote of "experience will make you perfect". Same with you my friend, my first bounty experience is not good as the other bounty earnings. More scam but im not feeling bad because i do my best to find the project good or not. Then these failure makes me more choosy in a bounty. Less projects is okey but make sure no one of them can be scam

To learn how to choose the right bounty campaign, you will need about a year of daily market research. If you don't have time for that, you'd better give up the idea of becoming a bounty hunter.
Daily market research is good, but every other day is not the same from yesterday or today. Just like looking to a same sea, yes it's a similar wave and same color of it... but admit to your self that it's not the same view and current pressure from within. The crypto currency is still unpredictable.

I agree with you being a bounty hunter that you have to work hard and never give up in carrying out assignments even though many bounty projects that scam remain careful and careful in choosing projects
