No one can ever analyze the market properly which is why no one can tell you exactly where to invest right now. But if you are planning to buy altcoin then of course you can buy that coin using DCA method but remember if you can invest in DCA method you will get more success and when to invest and when not to invest situation you don't have to think anymore.

It will depend on the Altcoin at which you want to buy, if it is top Altcoins like Ethereum, Litecoin, Solana and so many of them with Ethereum the most highly correlated to Bitcoin then it is very much acceptable to invest now because when Bitcoin will experience the bull run they will aswell pertake in the big pump. But if it is among the new Altcoins then close research should be considered before making any investment.

Aside from risk of investing in the wrong coin or shitcoins all investment are associated with risk, even those that aren't crypto related. So as an investor risk management is one of the skill we need to build on, and that is why we must conduct proper research before trusting any coin for investment. Even if you plan on making very small investment on a coin, you still have to verify it's legit before holding, so that we are sure that the only risk left is that of the volatility of the coin to know when to sell. But for Bitcoin investment you don't actually need to worry about selling your coin based on volatility untill you a re satisfied with your holding. And that is why I'm a full-time Bitcoin holder.

Now the market is not in a dump and is said to be sideways tending to rise, different from Q2 and Q3 this year.
Q4 market looks better, my suggestion is you can buy slowly now.

if you are investing to buy slowly then that is the perfect timing when you posted this because now that we are near ending 2023 as this is the last day of November , I assume that we will be seeing the what is predicted to come about crossing 40-48k usd and surely correction will follow as there are so many investors that waits to sell out specially those who was trapped last year.
