Hi all i have a lot of altcoins i invested before the bloody days and now most of then are down lik 50%. Should i sell them with no profit but also no loss or shold i keep them a little more to make profit? what would you do?
no, dont sell it, its your investment, its better for you if you will wait for more months before selling it. dont waste your precious money. dont make it rush, dont make any decision that you will end up regretting in the end.

I think the most safe to sell your alternativecoins is the last quarter of the year because there’s more chances that you will earn a good amount of income or profit in this kind of business.

I think it is safe to sell them at ATH+%10 . I always do that, if a coin reaches to the ATH and goes %10 beyond it, I sell it. Before that I would not sell my coins at all unless I really need them myself for some real life expense that I have.

Aside from those types of emergencies the best time to sell is when it hits the end of a bull run, this is trading 101 honestly because you can't sell when its low, there is no point of selling something when it goes down, you should buy even more when it goes down, just sell it after it goes beyond the ATH prices.

I see the only possible thing, the reason, to sell your coins. If you really need money then you may sell your crypto savings. In such case it would be really ok to start sell coins. Any other reason is invalid.

I could recommend to you not to sell them but holding. It is the most reliable way to make your future income larger and in this case you will minimize risks.

You may choose to leave them with the anticipation they will rise again and then inject new fiat and buy some dips. You can as well choose to cut your loss,  and take the remaining funds to invest in other projects. It all depends on your choice and risk appetite.

if you don't need emergency cash wait for long term but not for all of your altcoins , i believe you should choose best three or five then sell all others .

selling altcoin can be done when altcoin prices are stable and you need money. this happens because if it sells in unstable market conditions it will cause big losses for the owners of altcoin.

I think that if you don’t have urgent need of money then don’t panic and wait. If you have some shitcoins with no future, than you have to analyze situation and decide by yourself to sell or to wait.

keep keep it, do not sell with you must lose. you still have to be patient to wait alts up. may be long, because until now there has been no sign alts will rise. but we have to wait until the end of the year, whether the price will rise or not.

I'm also waiting for the right time to sell my altcoins and I think I should hold more because their prices are still down. Their prices are being affected by bitcoin's rise this time, altcoins will recover soon if the top coin start to god own. In waiting for the right time to sell, you should monitor the market often if you want to be updated on its daily price movement. For the meantime, holding it until it recovers is still the best way to avoid possible losses.

No, you should hold them. Me also in same situation, bought alt coins in same period, but I have held them as I know it will once up again for sure when market stabilizes, otherwise it will be great loss I you sell them at current market until it is absolutely needed to sell if needed money.

I think that is not a great idea for you to sell especially if you sell them without getting profit because your coin is down more than 50% so it will make you lost in that percentage. I think you should buy more amount so you can reduce your buy price and when the price can increase more than 30%, I think you can sell it but I am not about how much profit that you can get. and for the coin that is no loss, it depends on the coin itself because if the coin has a big chance to increase higher, then I think it is better to hold until the price increases.

I think now is not the best time to sell, the market has just begun to recover, now it just remains to wait for good prices.

A good time to sell altcoin that we have is when the price is already above the purchase price. We have to wait for the price to rise and then we sell for us to get profit. Of course we must keep monitoring the market movement so we know whether altcoin price we have increased price or falling price. That would be the right time or a safe time to sell altcoin is when the price has gone up.

Ummm, if they are down 50%, then how can you sell it for no profit and no loss?
Or, are you saying you are going to wait until they reach the price you bought it at and then sell?

By now, you should have a better idea on the types of projects that successful and the ones that aren't.
All of the overhyped ones have no long term viability, these are the verges and the electoneums.

However, you should have noticed that smart contract platforms do very well and actually have long term potential.
So rather than just hold and wait, why don't you plan on moving your assets to something more profitable?

But, whatever the case is, buying something and then selling it for half its value, is really just throwing money away.
It's not like a car where you were able to use it, nope, it's just numbers sitting on the blockchain.

You're the one who can answer that.if you know whats the future of every coins thats in your portfolio, better check them all one by one so you can analyze if they have potential to grow again or they will die tomorrow being holder we must be responsible on our coins, dont let anyone to decide for you because if theres a wrong outcome theres no one to be blame but our self

At the end of the day, you are the one using your hard-earned cash to purchase cryptocurrency. If you don’t understand the product, or the value, and you’re only listening to the so called experts then you are in for a big trouble and you might lose your life saving. Just don't be ignorant, read and learn the market. If you rely on someone other than yourself to buy crypto, you also have to rely on them to know when to sell. Don’t be a noob. Do your own research.
