the right time to sell the bitcoin that we have is when we need money in a short time and see the history of purchases that we do by selling it above the purchase price. no matter if the profit will be obtained only a little, at least when we sell it must carefully avoid losses that will be experienced
When you need money but bitcoin keep lower price did you sell your bitcoin assets or borrowing from your friend and then selling after bitcoin raise to higher price, some time I sell my bitcoin and altcoin assets like your way when I need money but my assets keep lower price, I will sell all it depend with how much money needed.

I am holding BTC from long time ago. And this time BTC going up can I sell now with this price? Or I can wait for more days?
I don't know when it's a good time to sell BTC because each buyer is at a different price and has different goals. So depending on the price you bought and set a target that suits it. Hold until you make a profit, never lose patience with this market
If you are satisfied already with the profit you would get from selling, and if you do want to secure the profit , then there's nothing wrong with sellinf at such point. But if you are wanting more, it would also be okay but be sure of the drawbacks since volatility is in nature with crypto market, there could be negative changes , referring to dumps with their market prices. So it is a matter of your choice ofcourse. Make an action that won't give you regrets.

There is no perfect time to sell, but you must have a target to sell. Suppose you want to sell when bitcoin price touches $20k or $50k or even $100k. because you've holding long enough, so wait until the next halving, I hope history repeats it so that it can go above $20k.
agree with you, we must to have a target to sell our bitcoin. think again what the purpose from we buy and sell bitcoin, to get profit in long term or short term.. it back to yourself. when you hold and sell your bitcoin in long term you can get more profit but it need long time, in short time you can get fast your profit.
of course we will never know the highest bitcoin price will achieve, like 2017 who would have thought that selling at $19,000 was a perfect time.
then this year halving will happen again, whether it will make a new ATH so we know that selling over $20k is a perfect time. The point is the target, if we reach the target it means you sell in perfect time, no regrets after selling it.
Agree, there is no perfect time that can be applied to everyone when everyone is always a prediction and the value of bitcoin will follow any prediction, which is always surprising, and if we try to follow perfection, this perfection will make us go down a path without a final point. The perfect time to sell bitcoin is the satisfaction we set, the price we want but setting exact goals, don't set goals beyond the limit, such as $100k, I don't know when bitcoin can be reached.
its mean bitcoin price is unpredictable and it is true, all speculation about bitcoin price not always happen so make decision to sell bitcoin in high price can make someone disappointed. so based that needed to make a target to sell bitcoin its important to remove feeling greedy and minimize the risk

If you're holding bitcoin for long term you might specify for how long I should hold my Bitcoin, is it for 5 years, 10 years or so. But if you're holding Bitcoin for short term you should sell them once the price is going up, yeah buy low and sell high. I personally hold Bitcoin as a long term investment, even if the price is going up I don't sell my coins because I have specified the period for holding Bitcoin. when the time comes and the price is skyrocket I will sell those coins.
I am not so sure that it is the best idea to sell your coins after an arbitrary amount of time, unless you have been holding your coins for years and you have endured some crashes in the market it is difficult to know if you are still going to hold your coins in the case a negative event occurs.

I know I can hold my bitcoins because I endured the bear market of 2018 and I am still here but many people will not be able to do something like that even if they thought they could.

its depending about your trading strategy, if you typical long term trader, just wait it, bitcoin will reach $15k and maybe 50k in next year, but if you are short term trader you can sell it right now, i think you have get few percent of profit, its better than you see market turn down before halving.
crypto market movement is very fast not like other market like forex , sometimes you will see flash pump and flush dump, just sell it now before you panic you see the market at flash dump
I like with trading short time strategy because looks most profitable to get much profit than we only use long term waiting with bitcoin reach above $15,000 where take about two or three months later, but if short term trading give you profit every although not higher but if long term way for trading we must looking for other sources income.

actually, short term trading will give you good profit in the long run. that is, if you know what you are doing. because if you accumulate those profits for a certain number of months or years of waiting, sometimes it will give much more than what you expect. and the only basic rule you have to follow - buy low, sell high. i guess you will never go wrong with that trader's motto. so asking for the perfect time to sell? it will always be the time when you are selling it at above your buying price.

maybe you can sell some of the BTC you have and hold for part of it. or if you are in doubt sell everything and buy back again. especially if you feel you've got enough 100% profit, sell it better I guess. because BTC is starting to undergo correction now. and people start to panic sell I guess. because from some of the information and analysis that I got this week, Bitcoin will correction first, maybe the next 1 or 2 weeks will move up again. all depends on your thoughts and conscience.

Something to consider: Satoshi may have always realized that an appreciating asset like BTC will tend not to be spent but used as a wealth store. But had such a vision been made explicit at a time when it was launched, I doubt the coin would have gained any traction at all. There is actually a need for an illusion to users that some tangible use like payments is the reason behind needing the coin. I think the initial bootstrapping of Bitcoin to a value after which it gained traction as a wealth store was down to that deliberate ploy of playing down the factor that later would be the key reason for the value.

You can see most alts struggling because from their inception, people now tend to see them as ways of making money and that proves a serious hurdle in them moving away from a pump and dump playground in their infancy. Monero folks I think realized this and tried their best through the campaign of asking people to use and not just buy the coin. But it's hard now to get people to see new coins as something more than wealth making assets.

Most of the peoples are expecting more profit, But everyone accept the enough profit. So this is the perfect time for day trading and huge investors are hold the long term but if we satisfy we can sell at any time. We are not waiting for $15k USD because once it is rise constantly, It will grow rapidly on further days.

Have you sold it now? the price is now reasonable to sell, and wait for the correction again,
because Bitcoin could have returned to the level $ 7000

Indeed, if the OP still holds up to now the OP has many advantages now because the price of bitcoin has grown well but that too if it is not sold.
Yeah it's better to last longer because bitcoin reaches $ 10k in the near future if you buy now there is still a chance to go up because bitcoin will continue to go up like current flows.
It's not too late for bitcoin to buy now.

looking at current prices, if you buy bitcoin at the end of 2019, then the profit you can get now reaches $ 2000, because the addition is about $ 2000 from $ 7000. however, this is one of the conditions for selling assets, and if you sell your assets now you have made a profit. but, I suggest to hold back a little longer.

Are you aware that profit is made from buying ang not from selling, there are a lot of opportunities in trading but we are not used to see it because of the lack of experience and lack of knowledge that we have. If you will ask what is the perfect strategy then I'm sorry because it is not existing, there is no strategies that can be called as holy grail. The right time to sell is depends on our plan and also in our trading psychology.

It is simple, you sell when you are in need of money. If you aren't in need for money just hold it as the market grows with time. Above all it is good to sell today and buy back today itself. This means sell at a price high and buy back at a price low to it. This will get profit and help with the accumulating bigger volume of bitcoin when practiced regularly.

Your question can not be answered because it depends greatly on personal circumstances.   The really simple answer is that there's no good time to sell if you don't really need to, so long as Bitcoin is a viable product it's very likely to keep gaining in the long run.   Decide when to sell if you don't believe that BTC is a viable alternative to fiat and there's your choice, otherwise it's a brand new product, a market that never existed before and you're fortunate to see it all start.
