I agree with you on this, if not end of 2018 probably mid year of 2018 if bitcoins price this December would reach at least $4,000. Anyways this is just a speculation based on its market value currently.

Expectation that's always there and I'm very sure $3000 will be achieved in this month, I'm so enthusiastic to welcome $3000 per 1 BTC in this month, because I'm very sure after reading from some articles about bitcoin prices.

Today bitcoin is rising again and it looks like this increase will continue to reach $3000 till $4000 in this month. I also have prepared bitcoin to sell at that price, hopefully my prediction will be true $4000 in this month. I'm still not convinced by $5000 and it seems to achieve that value will still be waiting for quite a long time.

i don;t sure if $5000 will be up this year, because the bitcoin pricing is still around $2200~$2700 AFAIK, at the peak is ~$3000. with the bouncing effect from my prediction, i would propose bitcoin price of going $5000 in 2018.

By looking at data from past analyst are pretty sure that bitcoins will cross 5000$ at the mid of 2018. These result may not be sure but they show that bitcoin is not very far away from 5000$ mark. The proportional rate seems to be increasing day by day so, who knows, maybe we see bitcoin reaching 5K before 2018.

It's definitely a possibility since reaching the $5000 level requires "only" a 100% increase, but it all depends on how everything plays out in terms of the activation of SegWit. In a perfect scenario, I can see $5000 become reality, but I like to remain my conservative stance in current circumstances, which is why I don't think we'll be reaching that level this year. But seriously, we have gained plenty already, I don't see why we have to go through more growth so rapidly....

Floor of $5k at 2020 well that's pretty nice considering that it will likely the stable price of bitcoin by 2020. Let's just hope that everything is going to be fine after this scaling. And hopefully that we'll see the price doubled before this year ends just like what happened before the end of first quarter the price was doubled.

Yeah, its still months to go before 2017. There was one article about bitcoin getting $4000 as well from Goldman Sachs. I speculate that if everything goes smooth on the bitcoin market, we can reach $4000-$5000 within this year. If the Segwit2x activation bring us a positive impact, then I think $4000-$5000 is possible. South Korea will legalized bitcoin soon, so I think this will somewhat impact the price to a good direction.

Massive price drop coming...

This is a theory and i think that price of bitcoin can be rich this next year.. but for now we are still experience of fear about segwit activation if the price can be increase or continues to downfall hoping that the price of bitcoin can be good result after end of this month and segwit will give a bright result that can push the price of bitcoin until $5,000 this year before end of this year. .

It would seem like it won't be this year but probably next year if things don't go south after August 1. There are a lot of fears and doubts going on about that date and people are panicking and selling. As there is fear of the unknown on that date, people will likely drop their coins and wait till what happens. If it does go down by a lot before August 1, then buying will be a good option though there is a chance that it could further go down.

Yeah, I also think it needs more year, maybe 3 or 4. We still don't know what may happen especially after the month of August where people are fearing the network splitting that may or may not happen but we all know that after that there are a possibility of a increase on it's price. $3000 is close by, though, $4000 and $5000 are still far away.

i do not think that 1st August will effect the market too much. some people in fact want panic in market so as that people start panic selling. but we are not expecting any such happening because people are confident and they are not going to trap by panic selling and to start selling bitcoin in low price. hope they will continue holding bitcoin and will give good support to bitcoin.
