In the future, but IMO this is not so necessary, because the aim of smartphones is different, let's say one day smartphone will be able to generate the mathematical calculation as modern stationary computers, image how far the last mentioned will developed? Huh You see my logic?) Anyway, I'm fascinated about ICO investment, and recently found Kelvin Blockchain project, have you heard about this one?

As we all know that smartphones are just like computer nowadays that has strong storage capacity and processor. This I think could be enable to mine bitcoin and this is what I am waiting for if there are any smartphones company that would offer their smartphones for bitcoin mining or even as a smartphone that works as digital hardware wallet for bitcoin and other crypto. I am waiting for it to happen. Do you think that it will happen?
I dont know if i will make sense. I don't believe that there will be a time for smartphone to mine cryptocurrency but it could be integrated in the blockchain as a block or something similar to confirm the information stored in the chain.

There’s an open source project called “MobileMiner” which you can use to install mining software on a mobile device.
It sounds like a great way to destroy your phone. Can you really believe such app? Sounds bogus to me. Bitcoin mining needs powerful CPU or high speed video processor card which smartphones definitely does not have.

Smartphone are not powerful enough to mine efficiently.

It would just be a waste a resource since a mining smartphone won't last long.

I'm sure it will happen when a smartphone becomes a mining tool, but it takes time and improvements...which only distinguishes computers and smartphones at this time only size, battery and how to use it, the remaining specifications I think are the same...
You're right, maybe in the near future it will be done soon. lately I've always seen smartphone capabilities that are no less sophisticated with great computers out there. it is only a matter of time until smarthphone is used for minning.

Probably never, smartphones simply do not have the capacity to deal with the huge load that bitcoin mining will represent, I know that many like smartphones and like them even better than their PC but there is not comparison, if even a PC cannot compete anymore with dedicated hardware miners there is no way a smartphone will ever be able to compete either.

Actually there has been an issue that smartphones are great medium in relation to bitcoin mining, staking and investing. It has a lot of probable advantage sincce its portable and rechargable. In a sense that you can access accounts in any places are seems so bright for the future to implement this thing. I've read a lot of bounty campaigns have been preoliferating the use of smart phones in casual conversations. I think all are in smartphones right now, downloadable apps, seemingly interested groups of bounties and how to get invested money medium-application.

Smartphone already can mining, but mining Electroneum. So i think if Mining Electroneum in smartphone posible, so does bitcoin. But mining in smartphone just wasting time because you can't got a lot from mining in smartphone

Negative. You need a computer with a processor capable of handling the “mining.” Mining turns your computer into a mathematical genius, attempting to solve complex algorithms. If your lucky computer gets it “right” then you are rewarded with a multitude of bitcoin. I believe it's somewhere around 12.5BTC.

However; to run just ONE mining computer rig, one can expect to pay as much as $200 extra per month in electricity just to continuously operate the system. The chances of your computer hitting are about that of a lottery. (Assuming you are only running one rig.) Some people have joined mining societies or groups in which those computers involved share the take. But, even this leaves you with only a fraction of a bitcoin and may or may not cover your basic electricity cost for the year. It's also worth noting that your processor can crap out easily from being run so hard 24/7, so there is that expense too.

Real time miners are called farmers, and they have dozens if not hundreds of computers mining at the same time. Essentially there are farming operations that cost as much as $40k+ per MONTH just to operate.

Instead of mining and having to buy a new system AND paying for the electricity at approximately $5k/year, I would personally just buy myself 2 BTC at the going rate. But that's just me.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think Samsung is starting to develop smartphones that we can mine Bitcoin and other altcoins. There’s one altcoin, Electroneum, which allows us to mine ETN’s with the use of smartphone’s internal power. I think others would follow suit later on. Just sayin’.

Yes You can use your phone to mine Bitcoin, but it is not advisable. You can mine other cryptocurrencies using your android device. But again, it is not that profitable. That doesnt mean an android phone doesnt compare to an old PC. Some smartphones have better processing power than even a PC. You can try your luck with this app Minergate, to setup a free account to mine through a legit software click below.
You can also use this same software on your desktop PC or laptop.
In order to mine the best coin at the moment, thats doing well in the market, you could start “Smart Mining” which lets the software decide on what to mine. Once you sign up and mine, you can select the speed at which it should mine.

It won't happen.

Smartphone for bitcoin mining? you are just destroying your phone.

Smartphone as digital wallet, you can simply download an app / wallet and that's how you make it as your wallet.
I agree with your opinion, besides being able to damage the device, it will also make the price of bitcoin decreases, of course considering that VGA Minea has also emerged with high BTC production capability, but with this low price, it is very influential on the current price of bitcoin, and I think if bitcoin can be mined easily just by using a smartphone, of course it will make the price of bitcoin even cheaper

One of the basic needs to mining is power. So, to have smartphones for bitcoin mining means the phone battery has to be specially improved on and also increasing the ROM /processor of the phones. With these in place, we do now have a headstart as to test running the bitcoin mining on smart phones.

Doubt it'd work out, smartphones aren't really that durable and would probably be need to change more often every now and then. The idea is kinda convenient but not applicable at the time tho  , let's wait till technology advances a bit further maybe it'd allow us in the future without any hassle.

Mining algorithms certainly require very high specifications making it difficult for devs. to make smartphones that can be used for mining, besides the use of crypto is still small so it is difficult for marketing to sell smartphones that have mining features at high prices.
