As we all know that smartphones are just like computer nowadays that has strong storage capacity and processor. This I think could be enable to mine bitcoin and this is what I am waiting for if there are any smartphones company that would offer their smartphones for bitcoin mining or even as a smartphone that works as digital hardware wallet for bitcoin and other crypto. I am waiting for it to happen. Do you think that it will happen?
I dont know if i will make sense. I don't believe that there will be a time for smartphone to mine cryptocurrency but it could be integrated in the blockchain as a block or something similar to confirm the information stored in the chain.

Even the most powerful smartphone is not good for mining - it will simply kill the gadget. Moreover, you will never earn a lot of money using the phone to mine the cryptocurrencies.
Well you are right but I have heard from some people who have bought some kind of phone and started a mining ring from their smart phone, I am not sure but I think it is for bitcoin because they were taking about bitcoin as well, I have notices recently garages which above 1000 phones to mine crypto currency, so I think it is new age where technologies are developing and we can do anything for sure.

Exactly bitcoin mining on a smartphone will be impossible to realize, but some other coin - why not. I guess big smartphone producers are already thinking about their own coins, like Apple coin, which will be possible to mine on the smartphone of this firm.

It will be very difficult to use smart phones in mining bitcoin. Even the machines with higher specifications find it uneasy to mine bitcoin what more smartphones. I don't think we can min e bitcoin nowadays with these phones. I personally don't want any impending fault with my phone  Lips sealed.

i think it has been happened, especially samsung that make bitcoin mining from 40 smartphones. look at this: https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/3kvdv9/samsung-upcycling-galaxy-s5-bitcoin-mining-rig

Smartphone is comunication device and i think its not wise using smartphone for mining bitcoin. Its not good idea but maybe smartphone manufacture think otherwise and maybe in the future they will make it but i think it will not eficient because battery smartphone is limited in time

Yes i believe the same way, mining for smartphones will be depending on the manufacturer of the mobile if they will be allowing cryptocurrency to be mined on their mobile products.

I do not see it happening. Profitable bitcoin mining needs a computer system and expensive special mining gadget

In my opinion, smartphones are not that strong enough to be used for Bitcoin mining. You might end up destroying your phone by attempting this. then the answer is impossible to mine using a smartphone.

I'm sure many large smartphone companies like Samsung, iPhone and so on are developing smartphones for mining, this is because the future of the transaction system is crypto.

Smartphone isn't powerful enough so you will only get a small amount of hash and the chance of your phone breaking is definitely bigger than the earning that you can get.

I really did not want to believe that you were so ignorant to ask this question, but when I saw your rank, I realized that you were new, you were not good enough to do much research. We know that our smartphone devices have processors or power in high capacities, but this processor or other hardware is not designed the same way as computers and does not work under the same harsh conditions. For that reason, I can say to you comfortably that the event you are talking about is not possible today. Besides, friends who are engaged in mining are buying rigs and installing rigs. If so, why do not you do all of this with smartphones? Finally, there is one more point I would like to point out, I would like you to give an example of ETN. Quality projects or high-quality cryptocurrenies are already being dug up with high-end equipment. So projects that can be excavated via smartphone will not be very robust. However, the demand reaches a certain price level with the reason and remains there. It goes further than that.

There are two problems in smartphones that is why it cannot be used for crypto mining. First is processing power as we know it the Central Processing Unit(CPU) of a smartphone has only limited processing power because if it does have a higher processing power it would generate more heat which means more energy to sustain the CPU, which is the second problem the power of the smartphone or the battery. It has limited battery life and would need to be in a constant charge state to be used as a mining device also one should consider the difficulty of the algorithms that are used in mining.

You never know! With the help of nano technology we may be able to achieve smaller chips that produces as much power as a full sized mining rigs in future. I mean that is not the reality now but it may become in future. If you were 80's kid, did you ever think that you can carry a computer in your pocket? Because what computer we have seen that time was Pentium one and it required an air conditioned room to run that. Nano technology achieved that impossible and now we carry a smart phone inside our pocket.

So keep your hope high as we don't know where the technological achievements can take us!
Yes, theoretically, in the future a smartphone may have the same amount of processing power that a mining rig has now. We can see that smartphones now have much more processing power than they first computers from the 1980s that took up a whole room. You have to realize though that mining rigs typically use the best processors and video cards. This means that they are very powerful and it'll take much longer for phones to get to that level of processing power. Now it is far from practical to use a smartphone to do mining. Smartphones cost a lot of money, but a lot of that cost is due to the fact that they have to fit so much into such a small device. It's all much cheaper if you buy bigger versions. Usually you don't need your mining farm to be portable. Just get stationary hardware. It's by far the most economically viable option.

I think it will take time for smartphones to be used in order to mine bitcoin. Yes, smartphones can work almost the same as laptops and computers, however, the energy used by computers are way too different from smartphones. Smartphones need to have powerful processor and longer battery life in order to mine bitcoin which I think is not that easy to achieve. But maybe someday it can,  there is nothing impossible with the help of technologies nowadays.
Basically for mining, the devices must be strong enough to hold good power and resistance. Even in computers, not every computer is suitable for mining. There were some cyber-attacks through coin hive and some other extensions in browsers, but they have failed so stoutly. The reason was, normal use computer couldn’t resist such high burden and processing speed. So they collapse.

The computing power of smart phones is definitely not as good as that of BTC, which is definitely impossible in the long run, unless the algorithm of BTC is changed.

At some point, it is possible but it will take a long period of time before it is publicize. Have you ever heard about the ROG phone?? The latest gaming mobile device of Asus?? The mobile devices is created for hard gamers and people who wants a pocket type laptop interface. If the ROG phone can mine bitcoins, that means that mobile devices needs to enhance to be able to mine bitcoins. The only problem is, are the manufacturers and producers willing to create one?? And are the consumers willing to purchase even if it will cost a fortune??

even if there will come a time that smartphones manufacturers offers phones that mines bitcoin, we could hardly imagine how much it could cost, like with desktop computers, the cost is pretty much expensive putting up a mining, not to mention hardwares and tools to be used by smartphones, i think it will not be possible, there are lots of apps today that says it can mine bitcoins but all turns out to be bogus, maybe smartphone can mine bitcoins but it will take a long time to mine how much desktop computers can. it is not just going to happen, at least in a couple of decade maybe.

I don't see smartphones will used as a bitcoin mining because it is hard to make a rig to it. And I think most of phones are not supported on any mining sites that can really provide a good mining conditions. But if it's possible it will became easy to find to the miners to make more profit.

yeah, and like 10-20 minutes your phones goes BBQ. Not a good idea, when using tools to mining bitcoin it has to be provided with a huge amount of electricity and a cooling system, all of which are not gonna happen on a mobile phone.

It has no sense and won't happen. Mining consumes a whole lot of energy.
