Or do you want to say that all these years people lived peacefully on this earth? Why are they, together with the Russians, now at war with the Ukrainian authorities? These are citizens of Ukraine and now they are fighting against their country, how is this possible?

I can understand Ukrainians, they are getting attacked and another nation wants a piece of land from them and that is why they are trying to not stop it. However, I do not get Russia, you tried, you failed, you could try again and fail again and you could keep trying until you succeed but do they really think that it worths it?

I mean tens of thousands of dead, with billions in lost equipment and whatever they have, all for just piece of land, plus all the future money lost because now people will be looking for alternative ways to live without needing energy from them as well. They lost so much just to win so little, makes no sense to me at all.

Zelensky is finding it hard to give up territories in the eastern region so as to end the war. This might mean the war might likely extend till only God knows when. And it's obvious Putin is not willing to retreat his armies any time soon. If only one of the two parties can compromise their agitation the war might just halt instantly

The only way for these killings to stop is a ceasefire or making peace. Russia hasn't achieved their objectives yet, so I don't see any possibility of a csasfire right now. Same goes for peace, Russia wants to fight for the east of Ukraine and the Ukrainians will not give up any land. At the moment an end of the war seems very unlikely to me.

Western countries have already done a lot for Ukraine, there are large weapon deliveries for Ukraine from all around the world. It seems now that Ukraine is fighting with much more modern weapons than Russia. And without these weapons Ukraine probably wouldn't be able to hold against Russia. So the only option the West has is to increase sanctions and increase weapon deliveries.

The longer the war the harder it will be for Putin, if he can't show any victories. Taking more land in the east would give him a stronger hand in the negotiations. I don't see any quick ending of the war. This could likely go on for the next months.

So many peace talks that are happening but no good things are coming out. President Zelensky is even pleading for help towards other countries particular in NATO to help them.

We know from the start already that Russia will win this war against Ukraine. Its just that Ukraine doesn't want to be under Russia and wants to be under NATO which Russia doesn't want to happen. I don't know what are the goals of Russia with this war against the Ukrainians but I just hope that this will be finished as soon as possible. Its very saddening to see innocent civilians being killed by random bombings. Its very saddening to see establishments being demolished by these bombs. People who are suffering and soldiers being killed every single day. This is why I don't want to watch news regarding this anymore because I always think of those civilians .

Russia demands from Ukraine to recognize the Crimean peninsula occupied since 2014 as Russian, the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the territory of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, so that Russia can completely capture them. Like what stops china from taking Taiwan? What stops from Russia to attack another nation? What stops Africans starting to attack each other for land?

I mean basically this war will change how wars are fought in this era of the humanity. So far we have seen nations like the USA attack Iraq or Afghanistan and so forth but those are proxy wars where they just attack those lands but attack those who support those lands and they just leave, they do not take land. We are in 2022 and Russia is fighting for lands, that will change a lot of things.

If war is not stopped then greater damage will continue to occur, infrastructure built decades ago was destroyed in hours because of war and it will take decades more to build it, war should not happen if everyone cares about human values. And when will the war end? No one knows.

Is only God can end the war.but the crisis is something we are not expecting to approach next year, is on disaster and Russia has condemn may properties of Ukraine by now international union supposed to interval and make peace so that the destruction will not continue, while most people want the war to end is because it is not only Ukrainian's that is living their alone and if the war persist many foreigners will lost their lives.the destruction is coming from Russia and the president suppose by this time accept for dialogue instead of vandalizing Ukraine properties

War is something that cant really be predicted to happen considering that there would be mishaps and misunderstanding in between nations or something that really involved with some intent.

We dont know on when this war would end but we do all hope for this one to be ending up because it does really cost up so many innocent lives which is something that we dont really like to see.
Russia however would really be affected on longer terms not only on sanctions but also in other things that tie up as well.

Everyone wants this war to end in a short time. I feel sorry for the people who lose their lives. But we must understand that after the end of this war, the world will not be the same. We'll expect our lives to not change for the worse because now I don't know what to expect. Perhaps we have not yet seen an alien invasion, now it is difficult to surprise us with something else.

All we can do here is just to talk and nothing more. The only way that these countries can come to peace is if their leaders should come to an agreement of putting the war to an end. I was reading an article on estimated losses since the conflict started between Russia and Ukraine. According to the report from Reuters, there is an estimated 24k deaths and 2.1k non-fatal injuries, and about 400 people missing. Approximately 11 million people has been displaced from Ukraine, 1.8k buildings destroyed and property damage of over five hundred billion dollars.

One thing for sure is that this is not going to end there, if they should carry on with this conflict, more people are still going to be killed and more properties destroyed. It’s best to reach an agreement than continue this brutality.
