I dislike working as officer in some location that I wouldn't normally go. I think this life creates unhappy people. I always treated Bitcoin as a way to leave this kind of life. My main purpose in life was always to liberate myself from full time work as soon as possible. Now I spent 6 years of my life working. When I turn and look back I see that only time I was bit happy was covid days when I was paid without working. I learned importance of generating money in life so I can only do things that I always wanted to. Only tiny minority hits this goal. I wish I was part of them.
you are lucky you are being paid for the leave days.
otherwise people lost their jobs and were helpless to the end of the day they were very upset for earning their livelihood

People who have paid leave really lucky employees as they have that privilege, unlike us, who have no work and no pay, so even if we are sick, we still continue to work because if we don't, we don't have money for our needs and for our family. Also, every time there is a holiday in the country, almost all the people I've known are very happy about it because they are paid on it, and like us, we are sad because we are forced not to go to work as it is a holiday and it means that we don't have pay on that day.
That is correct and not everyone is not previliged to
be the one to get paid leaves - If you are one who are who is the blessed one be grateful to the God and be happy to be choosen one!

Even others don't have a job, so i think wether you have paid leaves or not, as long as you have a job, be thankful as others dreamt of your job. It is just sometimes mental exhausting, like saying it is very unfair that others have paid leaves and you haven't, but still, it is the best time to rest because if that is not paid, then for sure you'll work, and that could lead to you working even sicker and you could be worse.

Are you satisfied with this way of life, or would you prefer to live a different way? What would you like to change and how? Personally, I'm clueless and not satisfied with the idea of spending the rest of my life like this.

You forgot to include the public holdays that are also been observed. I think this depends on the kind of job you do, people who lives on salary and pay checks are use to the way of the skilled labour and labour laws in many countries. However, this depend though, not everybody do job that settle for job that has to be supervised by another person and even when they do, they self employ job that they schedule their own break, they can decide to work from Monday till the weekend and continue the following week, no rest until they want to rest. There are some people that also combined both the skilled job and work for the rest of the weekend as side husle.

This is exactly why I love my job, its another great example. There were elections in my nation today, I couldn't sleep, I was tired, I felt like a sack of potato all day, finally I got back at home, and it was 9 pm nonetheless, so literally after dinner, and I slept for 3 hours, woke up right now, its midnight, its literally the next day, and I started working. This is how a work should be, do whenever you possibly could do and that's how you go further. It will definitely work better than expected, its going to end up with being as much of a help in my life as anything else could ever be. Love it, and will continue to love it forever, there could never be any other better job, its the greatest thing that ever happened to me.

I totally get where you're coming from! It can feel disheartening when life revolves around work and we have limited time off. Many people including myself crave more freedom and fulfillment. While there's actually no one-size-fits-all solution, considering alternative paths or making small changes can make a difference. Maybe consider pursuing passions outside of work, finding a flexible job, or even starting a side hustle. It's important to find what brings you joy and take steps towards that. You're not alone in wanting a different way of life, so don't lose hope!

It is a reality that many people live, but not all jobs/lifes are the same.

It's about "time," it's not having a job where you get paid a lot or a little.

I don't know, it's something that can only be solved by oneself and at some point in life it must be done, it's liberating.

When will we stop living for the weekend? Escaping the 9-5 life

Maybe when we don't have to live in the reality and stick with our own fantasy? Perhaps being dead or being an old retired pensioner are the only way I guess LOL!
I totally get your point because most probably we are all asking the same question whenever we get tired, exhausted, and drained after a long week of work. This is like a daily reminder that reality sucks.
Though there are a handful of ways where you can travel while you're working. One of these is having a job where it doesn't need for you to go the office, but to work remotely. I've seen a lot of freelancers doing this kind of routine. However, it still doesn't stop the 'living for the weekend" and escaping 9-5 life cycle.
Things have changed altogethet. Life is no longer a 9 to 5 job these days people work as per their comfort and taste and earn with both the hands

80%? I bet it's more like 98%; only the "chosen" ones will have enough bitcoin to retire. Someone who's barely making ends meet can't make huge investments if something else doesn't change in his environment to increase his available income. We often see other users praising Bitcoin, but it's not a panacea; it doesn't fall out of the sky. If you don't make enough, you can acquire enough to put towards your retirement.
Many people are dishonest with their attitude and what they write, I mean some of us may have mentioned bitcoin hundreds of times in many daily posts but they don't have bitcoin in their investment portfolio. Inflation has also become the basic problem why many workers find it difficult to save money in recent years, so because of the increasing need for money to make ends meet, of course the adjustment will not be as simple as they say.

Having an investment for old age may be good, but I think they should also realize that it's natural to enjoy the return on their investment as long as they are in good health. Life is not about working and working forever, but we need to enjoy life in a good way even though we have to be responsible for our children and family as well as their future.
Exactly. I constantly see other members claiming that Bitcoin has contributed to their financial freedom so much that they're planning to use it to retire in the distant future. I don't get it; if I actually had so much money, I wouldn't go around bragging. This is exceptionally common in newer members who are possibly looking for attention, but anyway, that's not the subject.
I know that, so stop there.  Cheesy

Anyway, personally, I've been tremendously helped by Bitcoin, but not everyone can profit from it. Inflation has put a huge burden on households, and it's something that has also affected me, but that isn't my biggest issue; it's that you're working all week just to have one or two free days in which you're too tired to enjoy.
In fact, everyone needs to have job to earn income so that their financial condition is better. It's hard to imagine that we will become rich without work, make profit without capital and effort, it seems strange unless there are treasures that fall from the sky which then makes no sense.

Maybe it's time for you to let your money work for you and make money with it. There are many investment assets to consider including bitcoin, gold and so on which can help you get more time off than constantly having a formal work routine for 5-6 days. This is healthy mindset because opportunities must be taken. Work has to be, effort does too, but having an investment mindset and planning as best you can will help.

I’m satisfied with my current life cycle that perfectly fit on your description. I think you will only feel empty if you didn’t want your job due to the work load or work space environment.

I’m a professional and doing the job that I study for many years which I dedicated my life. This is what we called career and you will enjoy doing it since you will appreciate what you study to apply in real life scenario. Having 2 days a week for day off is already sufficient to me since it’s too boring in the house without doing my job that I have passion.

I think the problem is the job itself and not the cycle. The cycle is good if you are enjoying it.

Majority of people who got affected by inflation are middle class and poor people rich never got affected by these things they have plenty of money to fa e anything in life.
How come some one wants to escape their job which gives them income and money to support their family.
Majority of people still wait for weekend to relax and spend time with family and do something for themselves.
Rich people are not really affected by inflation because they can use more money when needed. However, middle and lower class people who are in the poor category have to work more in order to fight inflation and they are also willing to work in different places to earn more money for their lives in inflationary conditions. Meanwhile for rich people, I think there is nothing to say under any circumstances because they can easily overcome any problem by using money where they want.

That is really the sad truth. Rich people can easily overcome inflation as they have enough money to spend, whereas the middle class and poor are having difficulties coping with it. They tend to just limit their buying, like instead of buying a whole sack of rice, they tend to make it half because if they buy one, they are caught short and have a hard time buying other necessities, unlike the rich, who have extra income or more money than us and don't get short financially.

Inflation is really like a boil in many countries. Although the extent of its impact on each country is different, its direct impact on people's lives is inevitable. The price of materials has escalated, and the cost of living has also increased significantly. It is very difficult for many families to readjust their monthly expenses. More especially, for the poor, whose lives have been very difficult and now have to face inflation, they really don't know how to live. Therefore, the government needs to pay attention to and promote appropriate economic policies at this time.

There are many people who fall into difficult situations when they feel stuck at work with low wages and unsatisfactory working conditions. Financial pressure is also one of the reasons they cannot explore alternative career paths and do not want to take risks while having a stable job. Over time, a growing sense of frustration, resignation, and a sense of being trapped builds up. So don't try to think too much, try to find a side job that matches your interests. Although it can be hard, it will at least reduce negative thoughts about your work.

Time passes, and we have nothing to look forward to. We watch our lives pass, and the only thing we're looking forward to is the weekend or 20 days per year of paid time off. We're working a whole year, from 9 to 5 and sometimes even more, at someone else's business just to have an approximate of 20 days of vacation and two days off per week, with many of us having one or even none per week.
Because the life cycle in most countries is still like that. Especially if you live as an employee or employee in a company, certain office, institution, or other, sometimes you even have to work 6 days and only have 1 day weekend off. And what's more, if they are workers with a shift system and work in public private departments, hospitals, and several other companies, then what happens is that they don't necessarily have weekends on Saturday-Sunday. They sometimes have 1 day off on weekdays. , and in fact not allowed to take a day off on weekends. Because, it is precisely during the weekend that their work comes more to serve customers. And it's still like this. sometimes granting leave rights to employees is also not necessarily in accordance with government regulations, especially in the private sector which is still small. And this does happen, or does it only happen in my country? Even back when I was still teaching at school, I still had to come in on Saturdays. But now I've stopped and maybe the rules have changed.
