I think you should not doubt that the Most projects related to crypto-currencies can be found on this forum. There is no other Internet resource that could provide the same extensive information about crypto-currencies.

Yes, I find them only on bitcointalk or I really follow the social network for secondary selection. But since I spent most of the time here in the forum, I need to read all sections of ads from time to time, and then check for new errors. Now it's more than addiction, so I automatically switch to the ANN section to find out what's new. It's an easy way to learn something new, very fast, and people talk about it.

You could try looking through the ICO ICO rating, there's information about the ICO are nice very much. In fact, it really helps you because of only a review and does research on the website, whitepaper and previous token. And from that site, you have already started to have an overview of the project and not a fraud.

You can search for sites such as icodrops, etc., or read people like mccaffe, or join the investor group with a telegram they normally  parse. I think if you only have a good friend the developer himself and only he will tell you what is best and how to proceed and what ICO to choose.

I usually use Bitcointalk or some kind of rating platforms for ICO's like icobench (link:https://icobench.com/) or iconow (link:https://iconow.net/). Anyway most of them can only collect your money and scam out. I think, if you are looking for some reliable ICO, you have to visit ico rating agency at first, than check the recommended in forums like this and ask the community about it. That's all you need. Then you can start reeding whitepaper.

some altcoins can be a scam specially when it is too good to be true and some are legit projects that will not be able to succeed but this are the usual risks out there when participating to ICO's but they can be certainly profitable.

From telegram channel, bitcointalk,fb and other social media and sometimes a lot are also from the recommendation of friends who are already experienced in the ICO.But every project I still remain careful because sometimes there is a form of ico scam wrapped in a neat, all the things need consideration and therefore we should diligently read the whitepaper or to find out about the ico in the forum because usually the more interesting the ico the more people that discuss in a big forum

Well, there are many sources of info about ICO.

Here are some i can suggest:

ICOBench: https://icobench.com/

TrackICO: https://www.trackico.io/

ICODrops: https://icodrops.com/

ICO Telegraph group: https://t.me/Ico_telegraph_eng

Top7ICO Channel: https://t.me/top7ico

These are somo good places where you can find some material for making your research. Always keep in mind that the more information you get, the better it is...

Also this forum is a good place to find information and to talk about any project you like

You can look for some trustable influencers like The Court. You can see his reviews spreadsheet at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fhcTARkcktbagokKCwu_tdVHBYWj_wFIh90qo0ek1vE/edit#gid=0

After choosing the best ICO's, i suggest you to on first moment join their telegram group and watch the activity, what the investors are saying and how efficient their support is...

I don't believe ICObench but for finding it is not bad. The best on my choice is ICOdrops. And bitcointalk  Cool Other channels I use for confirmations only. Because of so many shillings and bounty participants  Grin
