You can find a good ICO in the altcoin section and  children's board. Token substitutes are new and high quality ICO listed there. Just make sure you do your research.

All your social media outlets are now a good platform for ICO's and this very forum as you see from the signature campaigns etc. You can also find various websites designed for launches and announcements for pre ICO and launch dates etc

Well, there are many sources of info about ICO.

Here are some i can suggest:

ICOBench: https://icobench.com/

TrackICO: https://www.trackico.io/

ICODrops: https://icodrops.com/

ICO Telegraph group: https://t.me/Ico_telegraph_eng

Top7ICO Channel: https://t.me/top7ico

These are somo good places where you can find some material for making your research. Always keep in mind that the more information you get, the better it is...

Also this forum is a good place to find information and to talk about any project you like.

You can look for some trustable influencers like The Court. You can see his reviews spreadsheet at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fhcTARkcktbagokKCwu_tdVHBYWj_wFIh90qo0ek1vE/edit#gid=0

After choosing the best ICO's, i suggest you to on first moment join their telegram group and watch the activity, what the investors are saying and how efficient their support is...

I don’t trust most ICOs. I think they are all SCAMS. I’m cautious about investing in ICOs, and I’d also recommend that people around me be very careful when investing in ICOs.We can see that 90% of ICOs are not able to achieve their own goals, and they are doing very badly in the market.

I find the most interesting and hot ICO projects on this forum. Here the greatest amount of ICO and discussions about these projects. In addition here I can ask the question directly to the manager of the project if something is not clear to me. New ICOs appearing, they are all posted on this forum. I also regularly read the information in the bitcointalk to see the potential of the altcoins that I invested

I find interesting ICO here in bitcointalk announcements or in other websites related to new ICO  announcements. I find interesting ICOs and crypto projects on bitcointalk, forums and some social media. And in my opinion, in the bitcointalk and social media are the best places to find something which is not scam.

You guy might want to take a look at Adamant

I gotta say, in a world where almost all ICOs are run through Ethereum, many of which are promising a mainnet "eventually", having a project which not only uses something else than Ethereum, but also already has a working network is pretty refreshing.

Lisk, which Adamant is based on, did quite well back then, as did a lot of non-token, non-Ethereum ICOs.

We'll see whether times may have changed, but I always went with the underdogs and it paid off in the end.

Another, more recent example was Dragonchain. It had its ICO in a kind of depression state, where everybody was pretty much fed up. Additionally, it had no Hardcap, which people disliked as well. Turned out to be one of the big, big winners.

So, my bet is on Adamant, because it is pretty much a dark horse at this stage.

More of my thoughts on it here:

Can I just say how glad I am to see an ICo which is not just another ETH token?

My personal thoughts:

Pros:
  • Working prototype
  • Proven consensus system (Lisks codebase)
  • Relatively small hardcap (12 000 ETH or roughly 8 000 000 $)
  • Most of the tokens will be distributed
  • Sniffing around indicates, that this is a legit project (E.g. interview on the Lisk blog, yet no official endorsement)

Cons:
  • I'm not sure whether an independent blockchain is really needed for this project
  • It's still a token solution, meaning, you'll have to jump through hoops to get the tokens to pay, as opposed to payment via established currencies

General thoughts:
There is a number of projects working in that direction, which on the one hand is competition, on the other hand indicates a general interest in the idea. From what I'm seeing, Adamant is pretty far ahead, compared to others (Hush, ODN, et. al.).
With SHIFT, Ark, RISE and Blockpool, Lisks codebase has been utilized quite a bit. Projects like EOS will be using a variant of DPoS as well, so there might be more interest in projects going that route.
All in all, I feel the positives outweight the negative aspects, so I'll put a little bit in there.

They are so many ICO's running at the moments, and theres no chance to inform about all of them. There are a lot of interesting ICO which i passed because i just hear about the project after the ico starts. SO i look mostly for some tip from other crypto investors. There are some HOT ICO threads in the local areas here. Thats much easier when everbody who researched about a coin post their infos and then you can read this and save some time and money.

There are many ways to find proper ICOs. One of them is twitter. Twitter is a great source if you follow the right accounts. I keep checking twitter everyday for new ICOs and opportunities. You should give it a try. There is one thing you need to do and it is , no matter where you get the information from check it your self. Always make the last decision yourself.
