I usually look ICO on the bitcointalk forum here I find it very convenient to look at the project, so in social networks there are perspective companies in which I invested
Through the million ICO rating and tracking websites. Though it's up to you select one and research them in-depth and then invest accordingly.
I find ICO on the site of ICOBench, I go and look at the ratings, the product, the team, then I analyze everything. Sometimes come across very worthy projects.
I used to go to the bounty section of bitcointalk for new ICOs, also ICO bench, but now I prefer to use bountyplatform.io. It's the best site for me, right now anyways.

Yeah, your way is great, I think this way is worth learning. A community of experienced investors in this market will definitely choose the best ICO projects and eliminate projects have no potential. If you are asking which or what sites I am consulting for when I am looking for a great ICO i am first consulting this forum because I do believe that everything is in here and everything in indicated here most especially and specifically when it comes to crypto related activities. But I am also considering telegram when it comes to new news about crypto and also Twitter, there are many good and interesting projects on all social media apps.

Sometimes I found them on this forum by browsing the ann section and I also often look at coin gecko because they have a good list of ongoing, upcoming ico and the hype around them including the number of people in telegram group, view, Twitter etc so it's a good website to monitor hype around the ico.

Mostly i lookup their ann thread here and check their whitepaper if look intresting to me, also check there rating and i subs to some awesome channels in youtube and look at their point of view.
There are many good ico and ico ads in icodrop, and you can find some interesting ico here.

wherever it is you have to be careful to invest on ico because many ico scam in this forum or on other website, look for bounty clear team, roadmap and website like patron, patron will be listing in hitbtc and i am sure this will happen 
I usually use ICOBench to get a rank, coinschedule to have a consideration about the time of ICOs and ICODrops to see other ICO. ICOdrops has also a calendar which could be syncronized with your account google
I am looking for information from tokenmarket, the info is very accurate and reliable. Many sites provide info on ICO, but to tokenmarket is the best. But I also inform myself here about the ICO. Unfortunately today many ico scams. but you usually do not know that before . my favourite is now World WiFi

But in finding an interesting ICO you need to have a research about that ICO. What project they are promoting for and what are the details of their project.
