in my country there are several exchanges that can be used to buy bitcoin such as indodax and luno, which is quite encouraging is that bitcoin is allowed by the government to be used as an investment asset but unfortunately it cannot be used as a payment medium.

In my country, there are several alternative places to buy or sell bitcoin. One of them, and perhaps the most popular is in INDODAX. In addition there are LUNO, and several new exchangers. It looks like more and more new exchangers will emerge, hopefully with the addition of new exchangers. Later it will make it easier for us as a bitcoin community  Smiley

We all know of the importance of having cryptocurrency, particularly Bitcoin, however it is not always clear where they come from. Here in America, my friends and I use Coinbase to purchase and sell Bitcoins, Litecoins, Ethereum, etc. We can also use Coinbase as a wallet and it accepts bank transfers as well.

I have a few friends that use LocalBitcoins to meet up with locals in Los Angeles. I think this is inefficient since it can be time-consuming, however, there are some good deals and you can trust most of the sellers. I've also heard good things about platforms such as Kraken and Changelly.

In an effort to help the community, where do you personally go to purchase Bitcoins?
I bought bitcoin / cryptocurrency only on 1 platform that is in my country (Indonesia) which is at Indodax.com ... sometimes I keep it there. when I want to trade I make a withdrawal and I send it to binance, huobi, bittrex. I always pay attention to the market before making a withdrawal.

there are many way to buy bitcoin, sometime i buy bitcoin in some exchange systerm, or from any market.
i use my token to exchange to BTC too, so many way we can buy bitcoin now. Bitcoin is everywhere in internet and in the world.
That's right, but if I were to buy bitcoin on my friend, because there were so many friends who mine bitcoin and they would also sell it at a low price. so I prefer to buy at my friend because the price is easier than on the market

I myself bought bitcoin on the exchange of my country and it's safe to just happen, there are lots of places to buy your own stay, just buy where you like as long as the place you buy is safe and secure
I buy coins in the market like Bittrex, Indodax, Binance, and it will be very profitable if you buy Bitcoin for now and will benefit in the future. to invest in a long time will be very good.
I mostly take payment in BTC, and when I need to buy, coinbase seems best for me.
There are a lot of people who mine bitcoins in my vicinity and from them I mostly buy my bitcoins and they normally sell it to me a cheaper price than when I buy it from exchanges.

I buy bitcoin only from the local market in my country, because it will be very easy to exchange my local currency with the bitcoin market in my country. In addition to the media to buy bitcoin, in the local market in my country, it is also my FIAT money shelter when I get profit from the Bitcoin trade.

I would use a local exchange or someone that I fully known personally just in case I'm in need for those coins ASAP. Just use a reputable exchange so you won't fall into a scam or don't trade with someone you don't unless with escrow.
I trust local exchange and never experience to buy in person because it is more safe when you used an exchange. Also you can order from what price you desire to buy to get good volume. I do not want to be scam by people around me. Using exchange can give the exact volume of the amount you are paying.

I've always buy bitcoin from my friend who has a service to help the other friends and me. So far, I don't have any problem because we know each other. Sometimes I visit on his house and in that moment, I can directly buy bitcoin from him. But I also have a good seller from my country in localbitcoin if my friend was offline and so far, both my friend and my seller have a great service.

yes, coinbase is global, all people interested in coinbase, including me. but sometimes I buy bitcoin with paypal, and sometimes I use local exchange or real exchangers.

there are many platforms that provide crypto, so that's not a problem for us.

For me to stay on a safer side i usually update my wallet from LUNO which to me is more safer and convenient for use compare to others. At times i also update my wallet from Remitano.com which is more secure in handling of transactions and more customer friendly.

I prefer to make transactions in local exchanges in my country. That in my opinion will be much better and much safer. If something happens then I can do a much faster action. Instead of not trusting a large exchange, but for me that convenience will be a top priority in making transactions.

Changelly.com is a great place for buying bitcoin and very easy platform as well.
There are some few places to buy bitcoin as well such as blockchain.com, crypto.com, indacoin.com, coinmama.com, and paxful.com.
