I prefer staying in my country and going on a world trip. We'll get better living conditions in different parts of the world, but being in our home country gives us the feeling as if we're in our real home. Maybe things can change looking at huge amounts of money, for now, this is the choice.

Life is not as easy as most people think. Some get lucky to enjoy themselves, whereas the majority keeps struggling till the last breath to survive. Another thing is that when we have an opportunity, we need to use it wisely. Opportunity missed is almost missed forever, and we are hoping for better days to come in everyone's life.
It's true that it's better than having to live in someone else's country where we have to adapt to foreigners where they have a different place and atmosphere. Moreover, moving to another country is not as easy as we imagine. We also have to learn the language there and this requires quite a lot of time. Traveling around the world was the answer because it was the same as being able to enjoy the pleasure and then returning to your home country to become a better person and be able to change your life to be more worthy than before.

Life is a journey full of struggles that will never end before we leave this world, as long as we have the opportunity to improve our lives then do it immediately because it is the answer to all the problems that have befallen you, use your gambling winnings as well as possible and if you can run a business or invest so that the winnings are not just for spree.

I was expecting about the place you love to visit if you win $2 million from a lottery. My answer was Oslo, Norway but after reading the entire topic, I will likewise remain in my country. I want to visit beautiful places like Oslo however there are no better spots than home. All places have their uniqueness, and this is the practical reason the majority cast votes to stay in their nations. For my purpose of staying in my country, it is simpler to set up a house and I am more content to invest so I can safeguard my money and make it grow.
You are right, I am actually among those that voted to stay in my country if I won 2 million dollars, trust me, life is always very easier when you live in a place that you are very familiar with, for me, it has always been, "no place is sweeter than home".

If I won 2 million dollars, like I've said before in my previous comment, I could visit all the lovely places on earth, I could travel to different countries to taste their food, see how they dress, see what their girls look like, just have as much fun as I can, but after all this, I will always return back to my country for more important things like businesses and investment, my traveling out of my country will always be for vacation or business meetings, like meeting with my investors and potential ones, but when it comes to business and investment, all will be in my country and city.

People who have selected to stay in their country, why dont you wish to travel? It was never mentioned that if you win $2 millions, you are forced to spend them in a country from the list. Dont you want to celebrate such event as victory in lottery and go on a vacation? I accept that there is never enough money, that spending part of $2 millions on investing is smart. But wont it be boring to invest all and get back to usual life? If I won a lot of money or earn much more, I would travel, discover new places and get new experience without hesitation.
I'm also surprised on why many people voted for their own country but it acts as a support and you know we are always told to support our local, be it products, services, etc... and maybe those people have the ambition to travel all the places in their own country?

There are people I know who are like that and I also saw people on social media, TV, radio, etc... who said that once. After that, maybe they will proceed on another country that they also like and as long as they still have a money left. Another thing which could be the reason is that maybe those people are currently residing or working in another country? And they now missed their home country.

There is no need to move to any city or country to enjoy that $2 million because you can manage the money well to grow your winnings even bigger. You can create a new business and grow it big to make more money. This will not be difficult for you because you already know what kind of business you want to create; you already know your city well and only need a little research. And $2 million is also enough to meet your living needs, even though the prices of basic necessities will rise. If you have a new business, it can generate income for you so you can make money. You can also think about investing in bitcoin, gold, or land, which can provide additional profits for you. Try learning to become an investor because you can do it with that money.

Probably stay in my country, though its one of the most corrupted counties in the world but I will maintain a safety measure just to look like someone who is not sitting on a lot of money like $2 million.

I am not trying to bad mouth myself but with the amount that I risk on gambling I can never win a million dollars in gambling, I don't hope for it because it sound too ridiculous and unrealistic, even those that won jackpot in gambling risk way higher money than I ever did.

I don't want to have this possibility in my head, too unrealistic, but if I eventually get rich through my investment and worth this much, I promise to remain who I am, humble and I will remain this same person who don't like seeking for attention.

If you read carefully the context of the OP. He mention specifically the example as planning to move out meaning living on the country you choose. Ofc doing travel and vacation on some country will be very good to spend some of profit but living overseas is different because of high cost of living and the visa expenses which you will need to renew since you are not a permanent resident.

Also living with foreigners as tourists will always makes you an outcast so it’s really convenient to spend that huge amount of money on environment that you are comfortable since you knew your neighbors. If ever I will hit this huge jackpot, I will spend my life on a house in mountain top. This is really my dream house.

But still it wasnt mentioned what exactly his friend plans to do when he moves out. If he plans to leave his current country to one of countries from the list and live there for few years then this is one story. If he plans to move out and do nothing there, then $2 millions wont be enough. Substract taxes, all expenses on things you need to buy when you completely new in a new place, and there would be probably a million left. Then among all the destinations, Park City, Utah would offer maximum possibilities for the price, as other places are more costly.

The post might be where I would be but maybe, with this free money, I would increase my Bitcoin portfolio to something that brings my hodlings to a substantial amount that would give me some comfort.

Maybe I’ll probably go to one of those forbidden places, Islands, historical sites and places like that which some dark shady history just to end my life as with $2million, I would have had it all, lol…

I’ve never had to think of winning that much from a lottery or gambling and should that be the case, I would try to be relaxed, not draw much attention to myself and gradually push life the way I see it fit with $2million top up for a balance.

The choice to move countries or remain in your home country after winning the lottery is a very personal decision and depends on the person's preferences and goals. And maybe some countries will offer a better quality of life, so you will be tempted to move there. Or move abroad because that country has quite good opportunities in terms of investment and business development.

However, it would be a very stupid thing if you moved abroad because you wanted to enjoy the money alone by having fun and other unimportant things. Very stupid, because no matter how much money you get from the bets you make, if the money resulting from the winnings is not managed well, then the money will not have any impact or benefit.

But that's enough..... to continue imagining, Undecided Undecided  because in my opinion a win that big is something that is impossible for me to get, besides I also don't bet in that type of gambling "togel gambling", but to be able to get a big win, then we You also have to bet a large amount too. While I personally am not ready for that, "betting more than the amount of money I am prepared to lose", especially when talking about lottery gambling, this is a type of betting that is considered irrational.

This discussion came out when a friend told me that he planned to move out of the country if he happened to win the biggest post in the lottery at that time the lottery pot was almost $2 million in our currency, he then asked me where is the best place in the world to moved in case he wins a lottery,

So I check the internet for the best place and I stumble this article

The Best Places to Move When You Win the Lottery

So if you happen to win an equivalent of $2 million in your currency, will you move out of the country, from the article I posted and the poll I created from where country you would like to move to in case you win $2 million, you also have the option to stay in your country and why?

I prefer to stay in my country, because the living cost is very cheap here in my country, $2 million is very much enough for all my family up to three generations and I can even help my country by setting up businesses.

If I were to win $2 million dollars then I would probably move to a poorer country where that $2 million USD would last me a very very long time. Perhaps even my entire life. Because in my current country, the 2 mill will not last very long. And if I were to live in a very expensive country, like Switzerland for example, then that 2 million would last me maybe a few decades. Maybe not even that long, since a house alone would cost about that much. In a different, poorer country, it would be put to better use. And I could even help further develop the poorer country due to the cash inflow and I would probably have more than enough left over to give to my children.

I wouldn't move because of this just because I won but I would explore the world in a way that is comfortable and fun to make the most out of it.

Based on the website, it's really a good list to live in, maybe a vacation that is long would make me change my mind and stay, then maybe I will consider it. That would be great to experience Roll Eyes
Vacation wouldn't be a bad idea, which I think most people will choose over total relocation. With that kind of money, travelling around to see places's experiences will be on my to-do list. It's from the travelling experience that you can gather the information you need about a particular place.

Relocation requires a lot of planning. We can't just move to any place without a proper plan. Even with the right amount of money, one might not completely find the comfort they enjoy in their own personal country unless the relocation plans have been there even before the arrival of that money.

Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
uhm.... FRANCE,Paris! Yes... The Eiffel tower!!!... I'm not tryna say this is ever gonna happen but somehow if it does, that's my first choice... whatever I'm craving for wouldn't be a relocation visa though... maybe some two-time recreational visa, educational visa would do.

I wouldn't even think of doing any recreational visits of any sort just yet; $2 million would be enough to get compensated -- off of the wholesome cash that's been wagered and lost over the months or years... The big question would be -- is there any casino that keeps their maximum payout at that amount?

I don't understand why should move to other country while our family is here? I I won that much, and I am not an addicted gambler, I will think of how to utilize the money. I know that it is huge number of money. But if not utilizing optimally and only for having fun, the money will be spent very easily and we will regret it later.

That is why I f I won it, I will divide the money into several things. Of course I will also spend it for gambling again, but the percentage must not be over than 5%. I will have my own house, new car, and also buy some properties to invest. You know, sometimes, investment in property is also my dream. And of course, I will also spare it to buy more BTC.
But indeed, I hate dreaming about this.

No where.  I would visit many places but permanently 2 million dollars wouldn't change anything.  Realistically you can move where you want to now with enough drive you just might have to work harder to live in a place that is more expensive then your current location.  It's more of what I would like to do rather than where would I move to.

Getting a golden ticket visa will cost $250,000 to $500,000 or even more than that. And that's why it's not worth it if that's the only money that I've got.
But if you're a single person then I think that might be enough for you to get into another country and for that reason, you'll be able to enjoy that visa and can go to many other countries where you may find another opportunities.
Seriously, with high cost these days, I'll just save and invest that money and won't be spending a lot.
This is something that someone should really be tending to realize on, the amount that you've won wont really be that sufficient for you to be able to get outside of the country on which those amounts would really be just that only covered up with the expenses that you would be making Ex. Getting a visa on which its true that it is really that hell of a lot costly and you might be able to overlook into this one.
$2M might sound that too big into those countries but in others then it wont really be that something big, yes its really that still significant but if we do tend to check or look out on what are the things that it could
be able to cover out, then you would really be able to tell on yourself that it was not enough on going outside the country or its never been worth or would be enough.
Before it was really big but thanks to inflation that these big amounts before have made it kind of lower these days. And for that reason, it's important to analyze your situation and your kind of lifestyle. If you don't keep up with decreasing and changing it, your money will gone too soon without even realizing it. That's why moving out to another country may just be a bad choice. But if you're a hard working person and you won't be relying that much on that huge money, you may be able to do it. But hey, we all want to retire early.
Inflation is inevitable so its better that you should really be treating it to be standard and something that cant be removed out. So the solution is that you should really be making yourself that prepared.
If you dont like to suffer out specially on getting affected your finances then just like been said that it would really be always best that you should really be finding ways on patching it up
and this is via making investment and businesses offline on which you could really be able to have more income .This is something that we should really be putting up that focus into.
If you are really just that contented on what you do have now then so be it but if you dont like on having that situation then better work your ass off and find those methods or ways to make yourself better.

I'll go to countries like Thailand which is known for its cheap food and prices. Another one is with Vietnam, I don't know if I'll leave there but staying there for quite a while will definitely be worth it of the experience. Another country might be Indonesia. I've been seeing a lot of tourists and nomads working and staying there because they're affordable. While for those people that think of moving like in countries in European countries, Portugal might be one shot for me as I want to go there.

That amount will definitely grant me that visa of theirs to stay and work there. So, there are plenty of countries that I can go with that money but I want to settle as well and have a retirement home so before going on with that dream of travelling around the world then I might pursue and avail first my dream home, not a fancy one but a place where I can stay and live peacefully. It's one of the best way to start with that money before going on with those vacation trips that are going to cost a lot.

That's the idea, because staying exactly where you would  enjoy the funds is the right thing to do although when it comes to money won in bet, it tend to be spent carelessly that's if ofcourse you actually lack discipline. 2million$ is a lot of money from where am staying and I think I will do just fine investing that money in huge businesses and idea over in my country rather than move to a different country where the cost of living might eat up your money very fast because money that is not being refilled by business or other ways will eventually get finished at some point.

I'd probably move out West to be as far away from Russia as possible, preferably at least 10k km, so maybe Spain or Portugal? Cheesy
Other than that I had no need to live and I'd rather spend my money here, but the EU is becoming a really strange place set for both being eco friendly and producing firearms and other war supplies, so I don't know if I'd stay if I had a lot of money.

The US used to be one of the best places to live, but not anymore. Australia and Canada are crazy when it comes to civil right and government control, so I honestly don't know where I'd go. To a desert island I suppose.
