Facebook's cryptocurrency stable coin will go nowhere. They will shutdown their Libra cryptocurrency project because the government are against to it because it is unnecessary for the people around the world to use another digital currency because there is paypal and other mode of payment that they could use for their online transactions.
Recently there is lots of bad news are coming for fb coin Libra. In this circumstances what do you think Libra coin is going?
We don't know yet if Libra's team will be able to push through the project, but I am optimistic they'll be able to comply the regulatory requirements so they can launch by next year which was the scheduled year. Bad news is normal but the real stance of the project, only the team knows. They have a lot of time because no one big company is starting something similar. All are worried. Maybe Google... but no news about it.

Bad news is normal but the real stance of the project, only the team knows. libra is not going anywhere. there is just so much resistance to it not just from EU countries but the US senate itself. there is nothing to expect anymore about it.
right now, there is nothing to look forward anymore, BAKKT has been launched, ETF failed, libra failed and i guess the only to look forward in crypto is the halving. hypothetically this is just the part where we can presume the price can be pushed upwards.
Libra coin may actually succeed as against what many people/think, the fight of government against them will not make them close the project, and they will simply just change the concept of the project to what it ought to have been initially, which I think it was meant to serve as Facebook platform payment coin. The year for the release of their coin is almost here and with time, we will really find out what its effect will be.

It is going where it wants to go I have watched Mark appearance on the congress and he tries to rally and shill his project he is making an example of China preparation to create something on their own, and he wants Facebook's Libra coin to hamper this, I believe Libra coin will find it's way to the market.

I have recently read that facebook chief executive Mark Zuckerberg already quit in this project, I don't know if it is a fake news or what but it seems Libra won't be going far away like bitcoin or the other coin even though the company behind Libra was sufficient to fulfill all of it needs. I recently read that it may come soon in 2020 however, Mark Zuckerberg would deploy it depending if it is fully regulated by United States regulatory there are still a 50/50 percent of chance of being successful.
Mark Zuckerberg already stated that he's willing to leave the project in some conditions. I think that no matter what they are facing right now, they have to follow what's on their roadmap and what they've started.
I've seen some comments that said that this is going to be a big project. Yeah, no doubt that it is but that can be just their beginning and after the hype, they will be gone in the wind and start to drop in volume/sales and people will no longer talk about them unless they create something for people to talk about.

i know libra is going to be big, i am so positive about it but waiting for so long before lauching the coin is my concern. but i know all the delay is to give the best, so it wont end up OVERHYPED

And they're right. Centralised coins are bad enough - but putting all that data in Facebook's hands is asking for trouble.
Nowhere at the moment, because I have the feeling that they are still not sure if they would continue to work for Libra or not. Zuckerberg sounds like if there would be more problems with regulations Facebook will give up completely.
Base on government then this can't run if you ask now but there always a hope by Libra Coin like if they pass all the regulators want on it

Indeed, the fate of Libra now depends on the government as a regulator. If it is considered violating regulations, I think Facebook will fix it and maybe in the future some time, news about Libra will reappear

Although many of their partners have left the Libra project, I think Facebook will continue the project because it looks profitable. The problem with the Libra project is the regulation because Facebook is domiciled in the United States, which makes it necessary for them to comply with American regulations that are notoriously strict when it comes to cryptocurrency publishing.

It still has strong influence though some firm decided to leave their side. I dont think it will affect the Libra stance in the market. This is a solid project with a very famous team, everything is possible and anything can happen. Yeah, SEC is really giving them a hard push on their launch but this is only a beginning but I think they will still launches no matter what happened.
Both coins might later not be launch, because of the obstacles they are and will still come across. They are being checked and regulated. This might be as a result of the location and jurisdiction they are found. There is no need to conclude now, but time will tell, if Facebook in particular will still launched, as Mark Zukerberg is being cannot to series of interviews and panels.

Libra made such a fantastic perhaps never seen entrance into the crypto-currencies space. Its coming was well publicized because of the publicity it Garner many people were expecting the coin to be challenging others but that does not seem to be the case.
I think libra is all about the hype. I don't see the coin making much impact within the crypto-currencies community despite the pedigree that Facebook has . It will fizzle

Facebook coin hasn't yet been realised and it has started getting criticism from many. I don't do stable coin I think it principles are very different from normal coins. But criticism is one thing that's can build a coin. I think Libra coin has something to prove
