I think we'll see the project die slowly. Although Libra created a general hype in the market, it was clear from the beginning. There are some reasons for this, first of all, nobody trusts Facebook and its companies. Also Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg are still in court. This naturally excludes investors from the project.

The Blockchain community, on the other hand, does not favor the project for both these reasons and for some reason. The centrality of the project is one of the biggest factors. In addition, the Libra's maximum supply is unclear is another big question mark.

libra is not going anywhere. there is just so much resistance to it not just from EU countries but the US senate itself. there is nothing to expect anymore about it.
right now, there is nothing to look forward anymore, BAKKT has been launched, ETF failed, libra failed and i guess the only to look forward in crypto is the halving. hypothetically this is just the part where we can presume the price can be pushed upwards.

Yes last 2 year is really hard time for crypto currency, tried to comeback but always ended with bad news.
We hope next year will be the golden time of crypto just like 2017, bitcoin halving and eth 2.0 could make a revolution to crypto industry

Right now the future of Libra is not looking good at all and in my opinion, even if they were able to cut through all the red tape it is still going to be highly regulated.

Big companies which announced as a partnership for Libra project leaving the project one by one. After MasterCard and Visa others also left the project.

Libra was good for promotion of BTC. Partnerships leaving the project also good promotion for BTC as it shows that libra not a competitor to BTC.

BTC needs no partnerships or government support. Decentralised is the power of BTC.

There can be new partnerships for Libra and it can go on his road. This will also be good for BTC.

Recently there is lots of bad news are coming for fb coin Libra. In this circumstances what do you think Libra coin is going?
I do not know why, how, by whom, but it is obvious that there are those who want to influence the crypto space. As far as I know, a few big companies agreed with Libra, have stopped working. Actually Libra has nothing to do with crypto anyway however it is a good choice for mass adoption. They want to influence its vision but Libra will still be effective.

in my opinion, if social media Facebook issues crypto, that is libra, it is a very advanced breakthrough where Facebook says that libra will be stable and will compete with USD, but there is no news when Facebook will launch libra, it is still confusing, I am also very enthusiastically waiting for news from Libra.

It seems that the Libra project has some problems and has to be postponed, maybe Libra has not been able to appear for a long time.

Development has been halted and no good news for now. Partners are leaving one by one disassociating themselves with project due to some government scrutiny and strict regulation. I hope they are now brainstorming for the revival of the project by addressing problems now before going to public.

Visa and Master card alone which are known payment companies with millions of card users are all critical partners for the success of Libra project therefore most probably FaceBook will postponed the project until they can find a new strategic and reputable business partners again.

Facebook coin Libra is not going anywhere. No government in the world would allow Facebook to control its currency. Fiat currency is what gives the Government power over people and Libra is about to take away that. Tell me how do expect governments will respond to that?

There is hope for Libra as long as they change some rules such as allow the government to control their money just like Fiat, this is not impossible to do that since Libra is centralized stablecoin. The regulation backslash is its biggest problem right now, they just need to find a way to solve it and then everything is fine.
It is not totally impossible, but will MZ do something that he can not control? I doubt it.

I think the project will continue to grow regardless of any regulatory difficulties. Facebook will not give up easily and so will their partners. There are just a few difficulties right now. initially they need to resolve to be more perfect and will not be difficult from the management agency anymore

I think they will continue regardless of the issues and back outs of their partners. They still have partners remaining and the pressure from the US gov't is forcing those partners to back out. But I think they have all set it, they have planned it for more than a year so I think there's no stopping and going back. I'm not a supporter of this project but this seems to be a project that facebook will push because they have invested heavily on it unless the gov't forcefully stops them.

It will be dead soon before they launch, or will not even launch perhaps. Besides, the US government is very skeptical about them.

Seriously, it doesn't matter to me launching the project in the mainstream, even, it helps of BTC/crypto awareness to their billion users.
And might affect the price in some ways even people say that there's no connection between libra to BTC, only if libra survives, which I doubt.

The news about Libra does not seem to be very optimistic. Too many companies, including PayPal, Visa, and MasterCard have refused to cooperate with the Libra Association. Now, it can deal only with non-profit organizations and cryptocurrency companies. To launch Libra, Facebook will have to review its original plan, otherwise, the company will continue to face resistance from regulators.

All the governments are protect the peoples so first they fix some regulations then only it will possible to enter in the market. So we don't confuse the government and Libra project, because it is one of the altcoin it will also under in Bitcoin.
I hope libra have some technical issues and upgrade the further process so it will enter but official announcement is still pending.

I have been telling my friends that soon Libra is going into the limbo floating somewhere in between hell and purgatory of regulatory universe. With many of the members of the Libra Association starting to disassociate themselves from this very controversial project, all the backers can be gone sooner than Mark Zuckerberg can get to the comfort room. Libra is destined to be strangled principally because this is another project of Facebook which is now known as not a good repository of data and is careless with the privacy of its users. I am suggesting to Mark to redo and change everything on Libra and even change its name...plus get new people to handle the whole project away from him and Facebook.

Libra is “absolutely not” in jeopardy after seven firms including PayPal and Visa have dropped out of the project, says the head of Calibra

https://ct.com/7xid

But do we expect the head of Calibra to sat otherwise despite seeing the mass exodus of partners from the Libra project? Your guess is as good as mine

Its hard to tell about this coin now. However they will find a way to move forward and the coin will be out in the market for sure. Already lots of development ongoing. So they dont go back unless US government bans it.

My suspicion is that Libra is going to be a big Facebook FAIL. Many of its partners are dropping out as probably they see that it is not going anywhere. My big problem with Libra is that it is not a true cryptocurrency in it's core sense. First of all it is not decentralized, but generated by a central entity( company in this case) that had media scandals in the past with people's confidential information. Would I trust Facebook to not track my spending habits and transactions? - HELL NO!
