I know this may seem like something that is easy to find with google but I am having a difficult time finding a good forum or website where trading strategy is the primary goal and I can improve my skills. I used to play online poker and stopped after Black Friday.

My question is are there any websites that are like the 2+2 forums, card runners or deucescracked etc.? Where have you gone to learn about daytrading cryptocurrencies?

I got into this a little over a month and half ago and while I am up because of just a lucky decision or two I am quickly going to lose my ass if I don't figure out some sort of effective strategy.

In short, I suck at this and really need some help.

Thanks

Edit: Before someone replies I just want to throw this out there, I'm pretty sure this is a good website to learn about coins and what not and I come here everyday but I have a very hard time sorting through the bullshit. Obviously this place might be a great place but I might be in the wrong sections.

Before plunging into cryptocoin I play in forex trading, stocks, financial.

So I already have a basis in the trade.
By reading people's reviews in forums and joining in a group of traders. The results I get can be maximized

The best exercise is actually making real trades. After you start to lose money, you'll learn how to not make mistakes but only successful trades.
While learning from experience is useful, the truth is that kind of learning is very expensive, that is why sometimes it is better to learn from books and by practicing without money, it is better to make the most of your mistakes when those mistakes are not going to cost you a cent out of your pocket.

Have you ever done any daytrading (traditional stocks)?  Daytrading cryptocoins is not like daytrading stocks, the markets behave quite a bit differently.  It's also nothing like poker.

I have been successfully trading cryptocoins for a quite a while now and I would recommend the following steps:

1.   Attend some conferences or watch some conference recordings.  It's important that you understand the underlying concepts, terminology, etc. to cryptocoins, and the industry they operate in.  Personally, I feel attending conferences in person is far superior to watching anything on youtube.

2.   Keep on top of cryptocoin news.  Twitter is essential, so is this forum.

3.   Invest a significant amount of your time to watching how the markets behave, correlations to certain market behaviors, understanding the industry as a whole, etc.

4.   Start small - it's easy to grow even a small amount of capital when you've successfully learned how to trade crypto coins.  You can always invest more when you've demonstrated to yourself that you can perform successfully.

Now a days the online platform like the youtube, Amazon Prime video are the great to learn in the every field. So, for trading technique and strategy to be followed you should follow the youtube. You get lots of videos on lecture of many reputed authors at free of cost. How to trade on Bond, Share and currency all are a little bit of differenty strategy. But for crypto currency you should follow the demand & supply behaviour of price pattern.

i like youtube and this is where i go when i want to learn about something especially in trading lesson because i've found many good tutorial in youtube so i can learn step by step. until now, youtube is my recommendation for new people which want to learn about trading and we can search trading lesson that we want while we can watch the movie too.

While being willing to learn is essential one of the most important aspects of leaning is the ability to do so, not everyone can be an Einstein, and following that logic then not everyone can be a successful trader, so those that are not capable should look for another activity to perform.
Showing dedication to learn must be first step to lean trading aspects. All people will have interest in learning trading techniques but only who are very serious about learning will show dedications. Without dedication, no one could master the basics of trading in quick time. I mean they may learn and master but only after experiencing many bitter losses and in short in too hard way.
Yeah. People who wants to enter to the world of trading must be have a knowledge to the aspects of the trading. Many people learn to trade because they read many articles about the trading also you can learn to the experiences.

It's much better to learn it by yourself rather than afraid with risk and trying to avoid the risk because wrong action you did could raised your knowledge and maybe you can learn something from your fault, so that's much better and try to avoid that risk again.

Learn it by yourself with seriousness and eagerness to learn.

Actually people don't have to go through a wild and deep study just to learn trades. Just learn the basic knowledge and it will be improved while doing regular trades as part of building trading experience. Like in my case, my first idea of trading was the usual buy low sell high system and thinks that it's an easy thing to do. Then I started my trading experience with lots of loss at first but now improved it and now making continous profit out of the swings. If the person is really eager to learn trades, they will surely learn.

Thats why eventhough we are knowledgable trader we should still need to read some more information to became more informative on some aspect on our trades and also if people are new to this thing I thing much better for them to seek for those reliable information to get some idea on how to act correctly when there something terrible happen on our traded coins. Where not only talking about profits here and we should learn to defy our emotions since it is our number one enemy in trades  and to defy that we should make sure to ourselves that we bear more knowledge before entering on trading battle ground.

If you're a beginner trader, you have to learn the Basics of trading.
First thing you should learn is to read charts. Chart patterns http://www.investopedia.com signal to traders that the price of a security is likely to move in one direction or another when the pattern is complete.
I also took the time to show you how these relate to Bitcoin trading with the charting tools I use on Trading view www.tradingview.com.

Yes in line with this, you can do some readings about trading.
But as they all said, experience is the best teacher. So when you're trading and it doesn't went well, think first what is your mistake, accept that and learn from it and never repeat what you did. I'm sure, soon you'll become a good trader.

In my personal case I have had no problem in familiarizing myself with the altcoin trading because I have five years of experience in the Forex trading and I have developed a very special intuition to anticipate the movements of the market based specially on the identification of patterns and support-resistance levels, as well as a strict money management. By the way, I learned my first and essential trading bases through online resources like the Babypips' School of Pipsology.

I understand your problem fully , actually the same thing also happened with me but when I realised that I ma doing trading but with lack of the study and understanding and knowledge then I just stopped my trading for one month and in that interval of month I made study about trading in the Google .But real thing that I got after big big loss and small big profit Smiley .
First of all you should use the most simple exchange site for the trading , second thing never be speedy to buy or sell coin , I means to say that always buy or sell at advance order  , third thing is that you should never invest the amount of Bitcoin that is not bearable by you after loss , I means to say only small investment in coin that you effort very easily , fourth thing is that never invest all of your money in the single coin  ,.if you are facing the loss after down the price of coin then don't get panic , just wait until it gains it original price where you bought .
If you will follow these ways then you will surely get success  like me .
