Actually Time has a power to change everything, when time wise we are changed then why not gambling will change. It is normal for us, actually we open our eyes in this environment like online gambling, but the old ones they definitely miss past time and past environment of gambling.

Old gambling games are actually still here. The old dudes who prefer to play classic gambling games in casinos can do so. I've actually come across some old school gbling houses that has been there for years and still caters to old and new gamblers. Though online has become more popular, there will still be those that'll remind us of good o'l gambling days.

I thought you were saying gambling now is less fun than it was way back at 90's. I remember it too. When gambling outdoor with friends, smoking cigarettes while holding the cards. Laughing together when you lose the round thinking you will win. When I was under age I already gamble in some getto, looking around the place, afraid if police might caught you without you even noticing he is already there on your side, very nostalgic. Now it has gone to the point where you bet, and lose and gone to bed directly or others drink their boost before sleeping. I hope it doesn't go to the point where you lose all the fun completely. It is possible that introverts would mostly prefer the online ones while extroverts mostly prefer the physical ones.
