If you will invest into one altcoin only, it would be Ethereum.
If 3, ETH, BNB and DOT.

There are many altcoins to choose from TBH but I'd rather go for a slower but less riskier strategy than thinking of a short term and having a higher chance of losing your money. Pick the top altcoins if you are conservative but if you are aggressive and you can lose your money if things don't go your way then go for the lower market cap altcoins or maybe some meme coins if you want to.

At this point, its way difficult to predict which coin would be jumping back to their previous ATH or even to the break even points! I mean one might say its good opportunity to buy at this point and earn big loads of profits since they are very low in value and would jump up easily, however this may fail in case of Altcoins.

I assume you want to buy them because they look very cheap and right to the point as compared to the bitcoin. However, its also important to check whether they have proper economical model or not. Many times devs will leave the project unattended once they are in loss. So be careful and mostly go for bitcoin.

If you still think you want Altcoins anyways, then just go for those coins which mined and has limited circulations. Will help in the long term projection.

I myself am not too brave to make predictions about the best investment coins by looking at current or future conditions, although this is the right time to start because the market is still giving discount prices. there are so many variables that go into the ups and downs of a particular coin/token, but in the end, the market will decide.

They are among the top 10 altcoins and probably the most recommended altcoin to invest in. I don't recommend new projects nor to look at the bottom and I don't consider the price really matter that we need to invest in those coins that are too cheap instead, we have to look for the potential. It was indeed the price of these coins are a little bit high but the risk is less compared to the others.

If that coin is altcoin, then I suggest you to DYOR because we will have different coins to invest in. But I understand where you are coming from, still the answer is very simple and always in front of you, even when you are searching frantically for it. While several other people might tell you that this and that altcoin will be the next big thing, the truth is nobody know for sure that an altcoin would be able to compete with that bitcoin has already done these 12 years. Hence it has been stress tested and time tested.

You will even get a discounted price if you buy bitcoin at these lows, or you can wait for an even lower price.

Since the question in the OP is different from the question in the title, the answer to the OP is different from the answer to the title.

To the OP, I would say Bitcoin. There is no other coin that is better than Bitcoin in terms features and decentralization, which is what crypto should be all about. Therefore, Bitcoin should be the most promising coin and the best investment choice.

To the title, I would always recommend those coins which have already proven their worth in the market, those coins that have been there for a long time. New coins may seem promising but it only takes a strong bear market, a bad development team decision, or a single technical problem for them to succumb. Old coins like Ethereum (ETH) and Litecoin (LTC) are some of the best altcoins. They’re old and gold.
