There are a lot of altcoins that have got potential to grow. As, most of them have dropped during the recent market slump, so when the market goes in bull trend, they would grow. I would pick a few well-established altcoins such as Ethereum, Neo, Cardano, Monero, and Litecoin.

1.Ethereum (ETH)-platform that enables Smart Contracts.this platform allows more and more projects so more profitable
             2.Litecoin (LTC)-it has a faster block generation rate and hence offers a faster transaction confirmation. Other than developers, there are a growing number of merchants who accept Litecoin.
             3.Ripple (XRP)-Ripple enables banks to settle cross-border payments in real time, with end-to-end transparency, and at lower costs

At the moment, prices have fallen so low that most coins have a lot of potential for growth. I recommend eth, neo, deeponion, eos have good prospects.

I think that with bitcoin it is not necessary to compare any coins. Bitcoin is a market indicator, it will always be the first. Alternative currencies will always fight among themselves for the second place. This year I see only Ethereum. In the future, we need to look at Eos ..

ETH all the way once it regains market share.
